Armed with books in the crook of my elbow, I can go anywhere. That’s my philosophy! Better yet, I’ll write the books that will take me on an adventure.

My heroes are a bit broken but will make you swoon. My heroines are their own kick-ass characters armed with humor and a plethora of sarcasm.

If I’m not tucked away in my writing den, with coffee firmly gripped in hand, you can find me with a book propped on my pillow, a pit bull lying across my legs, a Lab on the floor next to me, and two kittens running amuck.

My current adventure has me living in Idaho with my own gray-bearded hero, who’s put up with my shenanigans for over thirty years, and he doesn’t mind all my book boyfriends.
If you love romance, suspense, military men, lots of action and adventure infused with emotion, tear-worthy moments, and laugh-out-loud humor, dive into my books and let the world fall away at your feet.

Buddy read with my bestie Leonor 💖, who wrote an excellent review

In my opinion, the book is party implausible and naive, BUT
it has a good message and absolutely amazing hero.

I won't even complain and point out my issues.
It was a slightly bizzare and coincidental love story, but it was still epic.

Extra star and appreciation for the great hero and for giving the heroine a life in between.

Safety: he was celibate for 12 years; she lost her memory and moved on, now comes the shock -> she had good sex! She was only with 1 man, but she enjoyed it. After reading 357885 stories with poor females, who were not able to have an orgasm outside of the hero's magic stick, it was like a breath of fresh air. Applause!

Buddy read with Alex

How many times do we have to wait for a book where the hero remains faithful to his wife or significant other? Let’s face it they are almost non existent!

This author not only gave me a faithful hero but she also gave us a heroine that wasn’t celibate, I don’t consider this cheating because the heroine did not remember her husband and child.

But even if she did remember how many times you have to read about the heroine remaining faithful while the hero swaps fluids with other people? So yeah I wasn’t upset because this heroine moved on!
Hero’s love for her was amazing, he didn’t want anyone but her, he thought she was dead and never even looked for any relief from OWs.

There are things that had me annoyed, like why the heck they didn’t open he envelope? They waited until the end! If I was the heroine I would have torn that envelope open to find out the truth.

We also liked that she ended whatever she had with her friend amicably, there was no drama coming from him, they also didn’t bashed him!
Overall We really did enjoy this book. It’s not often we read a book where the hero remains celibate for 12 YEARS!!

Alex wanted to keep him for herself, she loved how he tattooed the heroine’s name as a wedding ring on his finger. She called dibs on him so I was nice enough to my sister to let her have him. But I could have whoop her ass for him if I wanted to! She was happy she won him. 😜😜

Alex, I love doing buddy reads with you! I have so much fun!

This is one of those books that you absolutely have to give its premise. There's a monstrous coincidence at the heart of this story that brings the two main characters together and you just have to let that roll or everything else is stupid.

I was able to roll with it and was very engaged for much of this story. Shay's history is tragic, but I love that she's doing her best to cope and that she doesn't take guff from David. David is headstrong, but also caring and kind. He's a little bit pathetic and prone to assumptions and wishful thinking but at least he surrounds himself with strong voices to push him out of it when needed.

If Moore had stuck with that, this would have been four stars, though there's enough awkward characterization and occasional odd stage directing that would keep it from going higher. I was particularly thrilled that Moore isn't coy about certain secrets as the reader was fully informed at 24% of what I had only just suspected at 20.

Unfortunately, there were unforced errors that had me grousing about how stupid these people are. So I'm taking away all the kudos because frankly, something happens to make these people idiots in ways that coincidentally drew the story out an extra fifteen percent or so.

So the last 15% or so drove me up the wall. And drove the rating down steadily to the 2½ stars that I'm rounding down due to sex.

A note about Steamy: There are four non-short explicit sex scenes, which, in a story this short, puts it outside my steam tolerance. I get it, already. The lust is both instant and strong with these two. Hurray for them! Now get on with the story. When the fourth one started I literally* rolled my eyes and skimmed the whole thing.

* using the classical meaning of the term where actual eyes rolled, not the newfangled (some might say inferior) meaning of the word where it means the opposite...

DNF @ 40%

Sorry but I don't buy the whole coincidence thing.

This is a story about Keegan and Shay who get to know each other by exchanging letters. Keegan had just lost his wife when he joined the army (he enlisted before Timber's death so he had no other choice but to leave his infant daughter behind) and then his best friend dies next to him. A few years later he tries to find his best friend's twin sister that he (Wolfe, his best friend) never met but had tried to contact before he died. Shay claims she doesn't have a brother but they continue to contact each other. After a few letters Shay decides to visit the place Keegan lives (even though she never takes time off her job) and that's where they meet. When that happens Keegan calls her Timber (his dead wife's name) and tries to explain to her that she is the spitting image of his wife. Also, Shay claims that twelve years ago (around the time Keegan's wife died) she woke up in the middle of nowhere, with no memory at all. What a coincidence! 🥴

Again, I don't buy it...

I would have continued reading it just out of curiosity to see what happens but I didn't like the writing style, I didn't feel any connection with the characters, the drama is just too much for me and some people who read the whole book say in their reviews that the second half is worse than the first so I'm not going to waste any more time.

Keegan's heart was shattered when he joined the army. The tragic loss of his wife left him incomplete. His parents helped him by taking in his infant daughter, so he could become a man she would be proud of. When Keegan is out on a mission with his captain and best friend Wolfe, they're being ambushed by the enemy. Wolfe just told Keegan that he found out that he has a twin sister and he can't wait to meet her. Only Keegan survives the ambush and makes a promise to Wolfe that he'll find his twin and tell her about what an amazing man Wolfe was. What will Keegan discover when he writes a letter to the last known address of Wolfe's sister?

Shay is a very successful music producer. She lives together with her business partner Paul. They were more than friends once, but Paul wasn't able to fill the hole that Shay feels in her heart. Twelve years ago she had an accident and she lost all of her memories from before that time. Not knowing who she was and with nobody who'd been searching for her, Shay had to take a new identity. The moment she receives Keegan's letter Shay feels a connection to this man she has never met before. They keep writing and after hearing Keegan's vivid descriptions about the place he lives in, Shay rents a cottage and flies over there. Shay is all alone in the world. Will she find family again in Jackson, New Hampshire?

Keegan is such a kind and caring man and I loved to read about the strong bond he has with his parents and his daughter. He always takes care of other people, but he stopped taking care of himself the day his wife died. He's a military man and at the same time he is a person who has no problems showing his feelings and emotions. He's a man that a lot of women would fall in love with immediately. Shay has been lonely for many years. She's a workaholic and there are days on which she doesn't even get dressed or leaves the house. Luckily she has Paul, who's been a wonderful friend for her and he takes care of her. Shay is so strong and beautiful and I was wishing for her to find a way to feel complete again.

Say You Won't Let Go is a sweet love story about loss, true love and fate. Kelly Moore's stories are always full of emotion, but sadness never has the upper hand. With Say You Won't Let Go Kelly Moore shows once again how much passion she has for her characters and how much she loves each and every one of them. I often had tears in my eyes while reading this story, but I laughed a lot as well. Kelly Moore is a brilliant and skillful writer and when she releases a story I can't wait to read it. The beautiful way she uses words has me hooked every single time and Say You Won't Let Go was no exception. I've read all of her books and I'm already looking forward to her next masterpiece.

From the Prologue to the Epilogue, Author Kelly Moore kept me completely engaged in Say You Won’t Let Go. This was an extremely emotional storyline based on fate, love, deeply emotional ties, and the gift of musical memories.

Keegan has been a widow since his daughter Emmalyn was little, when his wife, Timber, was killed in a fiery crash in Utah. Sergeant Keegan has returned home to his daughter after being injured in an accident that killed his best friend, Wolfe Rowan. Wolfe had just found out he had a twin sister right before he was KIA, so Keegan makes it his duty to locate Wolfe’s sister for him. After much research, Keegan finds Shay Fox and reaches out to her. They exchange letters, and even though she is certain she isn’t his sister, she vows to help him find her.

This whole book had my head spinning! The twists and turns, the emotions, the unexpected turns…WOW! Kelly Moore has, once again, written a very deep and fantastic book! I would definitely recommend this!

This is the first time I have read a book by this author and judging by this book, it definitely will not be the last! There were several twists in this romance that I definitely did not see coming but I must say that they were definitely good twists. The love between Shay and David may not have been typical, thank goodness, but it was definitely the real thing! Definitely a book that you can expect to get pulled into almost from page one and not be able to put down until the end.

I absolutely loved, Say You Won't Let Go. It is the ultimate love story. I started to think the book wasn't going to end the way that I was expecting.

This book has spots that made me laugh. It also made me cry to the point of needing a box of Kleenex. It's a GREAT book. Kelly Moore did an awesome job writing it. I believed when Shay found out that she was Wolfe's twin sister. That she would still open the envelope w the DNA test results to see if she might also be Timber. The only way to find out that is to read the book to the end. I hope the next reader enjoys this story as much as I did. ♡

This is the story of an ex-military, single-dad, and widower named Keegan. He’s experienced so much loss but still trudges through life caring for his twelve-year-old daughter Emmalynn and helping run his Dad’s sporting goods store. Attempting to carry out the wishes of his best friend, Wolfe, Keegan contacts a woman named Shay, explaining that Wolfe was her twin brother. Shay has a successful career but is lacking in the love and family department, with the exception of her partner and roomie, Paul. At first, she is confused about Keegan’s letter about her long-lost brother, but as they continue their communication, realizations about the past and an unexpected love take center stage.

Oh, Keegan… How do I love thee, let me count the ways? Once again, Kelly Moore has created a character that I could not avoid falling in love with…. Anyway, on a serious note, she has honestly crafted a compelling cast of characters in Say You Won’t Let Go, that I assure will stick with you long after reading. Keegan is so pained and exhausted from the cards that he has been dealt in life, yet still grateful for his daughter and family. However, as the novel progresses, the reader has the opportunity to truly watch him come out of his shell, start feeling, and emotionally wake up and start living again. Shay is also somewhat of a quiet, tortured soul. Although successful in her career, there’s a huge part of her life that has remained a question mark where she has never really known about her childhood or family. She too, blossoms over the course of the novel, opening up more and more as the story progresses.

Then there is Keegan’s daughter, Emmalynn – which is an unexpected gem in this novel. Her honesty, raw feelings, and wisdom far beyond her years absolutely completed this story. Note to Kelly, perhaps she will have her own story later, once she’s grown up a bit??

The dynamic plot structure, characters, suspense, emotion, and romance are just a few things that make Say You Won’t Let Go such a page-turning, emotional, and completely fantastic read. This one touches on numerous emotions and feelings – prepare for sadness, laughter, frustration, joy, and so on. As typical with Kelly Moore, there are ample twists and turns combined with a strong storyline that will touch any reader, yet keep them on the edge of their seats. Although Kelly typically includes military or ex-military in her stories, this novel is unlike anything she has written and pays tribute to her ever-growing skills and talent as a writer. Add this one to your TBR, it is phenomenal!

It has been awhile since I started a book and couldn't put it down. I can't say it had all my favorite qualities of a story, but the writing was flawless and smooth.

Dang, I hate prologues that make you sad but it did create the beginning of a fantastic read. Ex-Military, single dad, widow, Sergant Keegan, is set out to find his ex Military BFF twin's sister. Keegan has a possible address for his twin sister. He writes to let her know about her twin brother. As you can imagine, she aka Shay Fox was surprised someone would think she had a brother much less a twin.
Shay Fox is a music writer that never stops. She lives in a mansion with Paul, her business partner, previous boyfriend, and now Best friend. She can only remember the last 12 years of her life. Has lots of headaches and runs miles after miles during the evening. Although there is only friendship; I kinda like me some Paul and Shay. They do have that quick banter.

The penmanship is the beginning of a dream come true for both Shay and Keegan.
After reading one of his letters, Shay decides to slow down and finally take a vacation. Wonder where shen is going to take that vacation? HA HA
They have a fun, playful relationship. Shay is a strong person and laid her feelings all out there; even the not so good. Keegan was just as strong. Which made for some feisty moments.

I love the relationship Keegan has with his parents and 12 year old daughter. I aslo love how his daughter is strong, acts like a teenager but isn't whiney.

As you can tell, i i really liked all the characters. The story was a quick easy read. The author gave you just enough of each scene to keep you reading. Wasn't over the top detailed but it didn't lack either.

For the conflict; there were a few things I got wrong but overall, the story is predictable. Still good though.

This book is so good that I don’t have the words to describe how much I loved it. There are just some books and authors that touch your heart, and this one did it to me. I normally tell a little about the plot only because that is what I look for in reviews. I don’t want to give anything away from this book so I won’t say much. I loved the main male character and his personality. He is a man I would love to be around. I felt bad for the main female character. She goes through so much in this book and we are right there with her. She has such a strong will for life which I was very thankful for. I couldn’t even imagine going through what she went through. If is was fate that had a hand in where it led the characters, then I am glad fate stepped in. There are some sad parts that made me cry, but there is so much hope and love in this book that it made me feel good. I strongly encourage you to read the book. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader’s Copy of this book.

Kelly Moore writes military romance like no other. She creates characters that you either immediately fall in love with or want as your bff. Her stories are full of courage, love, loss, and storylines that will keep you guessing until the end.

Keegan is ex military, a widower and single dad to 12 year old Emmalynn.
Ambushed on a mission with his best friend Wolfe, Keegan promises him that he will fulfill Wolfe's wishes. What happens next is a story that will leave you breathless. I don't want to spoil anything so you'll just have to read it for yourself!

This book is one that instantly drew me in. From the first paragraph, I just had to know what was going to happen.

Once we get into the meat of the story, I found it more and more difficult to put down. I had to know what Shay's history was and if Keegan was right about who she might be.

The series is called Epic Love Stories, and in at least this case, it was so accurate. Having read this book, I look forward to reading the rest of the series, as well as more in general from this author.

If you like romance, especially with some kind of a twist, you will love this book.

I just loved how this book was filled with so many emotions so you could be laughing one minute, tearing up the next, feeling love and wondering what would happen next. Keegan and Shay will have you hooked on them as you go through everything they do as well as learn about their pasts as their characters are so well developed. You will not be disappointed by this read and guarantee you will be searching through her other books to read!

I have to be honest, it was a tough read for me. After about reading 25% of it, I knew that I wasn't really enjoying reading the book but I decided to read the whole thing before I gave an honest opinion about it.

What I liked:

- The overall plot was unique and not just a copycat. It had originality.
- I appreciated the fact that the author put some minor cultural references in it (though if it was left out, it wouldn't have changed the book at all).

What I didn't like:

- The romance between the characters was awkward. I'm sure that it wasn't intended to be that way but I guess it was more due to the author's writing ability but the weird romance between the lead characters was awkward and kept changing from line to line.

- I really didn't like the male lead. He came across as obsessive, controlling, irrational, and his emotions were all over the place. He didn't come across as a desirable person.

- At times the book was poorly written in terms of grammar, typos, sentence structure and creativity. It almost felt like multiple people wrote this book or that this book was ghostwritten by some individual in another country.

- It was just overall a weird book to me and I couldn't identify or at least relate to anything going on in the book. It didn't make me feel anything other than boredom and I just really didn't like it.

I would have given this book 2 stars but didn't because I'm sure the author really tried with this one but it was just a weird book overall.

Sorry.

I have read thousands of books in my time and I can count on 1 hand the few that affected me all the way to my soul. This is one of them. Kelly Moore has written an original plot that grabs you from the first page. Say You Won't Let Go is a book that seriously, won't let go! Keegan is a survivor: he survived the loss of his wife, an attack of insurgents in the mid-east that injured him and killed his best friend. He wants nothing more than to find his friend's sister to honor his memory.
There are so many twists and turns to this novel that I didn't see the end coming. I shed tears for Wolfe, Shay and Keegan for the paths that were taken. And yet, the author also delivered a HEA ending. Wow! A book I will definitely keep to read again!

Say You Won’t Let Go is the first book by Kelly Moore that I’ve read and if this one is anything to go by it won’t be the last.

A sweet, romantic read packed with plenty of emotion, from true love to heartbreaking loss.

Once I started reading I couldn’t put it down. The story was so unexpected. Although it was fairly obvious what the twist was going to be, that didn’t deter from the wonderful story that was carefully woven together.

Kelly’s writing style is emotive and flowing and you effortlessly move through the story, falling further in love with these characters.

The female lead, Shay, is a strong, independent woman who knows her own mind and is prepared to do what ever it takes to understand herself and her past.
Keegan is exactly what you want from a leading man: loyal, faithful, brave, passionate, thoughtful, caring, loving and sexy as hell! Can you tell I have a sweet spot for him!

Now what Kelly Moore book should I pick up next............

Thank you to the author for providing a copy. All opinions are my own and provided willingly.

description

I thought I knew where this book was going when bam the author dumped us with a twist I didn't see coming. This one is full of heartbreak and loses that will move you and make you fall in love with the hero. David Keegan has had his fair share of losses in the last 12 years from the death of his wife, having to leave his infant daughter to protect his country and losing friends along the way. I was moved by this story that I would recommend to others to read.
It's amazing how fate can play such a large part in some people lives that they are just destined to find each other no matter their choices in life are.

Can you have the love of your life twice in your lifetime?
Can a missing part of you be found when you have not idea what you are looking for?

This One Is Going To Get You!!

What a heart-flipping story!! I want to say that I felt all the emotions while reading this story. It is a fast-paced read and even has some unexpected surprises.

Of all the characters in this story, I loved Keegan’s journey the most. This man has lived through it all and endured so much heartache. He came out a happier man despite his traumatic situation.

A very well written page turner for sure! I made the mistake of starting this bok in the early evening and because needed to finish it, I didn’t get much sleep for work the next day. I couldn’t put it down!

I loved it!! Excellent job!!

This book is a story of true love. A once in a lifetime love. Say You Won’t Let Go pulled me in from the start and I couldn’t let go. It’s about loss, connections, and fate with a few twists. It gave me all the feels of hope while pulling at my heartstrings. Keegan and Shay each fight for what they feel is best for them, finding answers to their pasts, and trusting their hearts for a future. I loved everything and everyone in this story!!! I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book. This book deals with the loss of a wife, who was the love of Keegan’s life and his best friend who was killed during an ambush in Iraq. Needing to move on with his life, Keegan tries to find his buddy’s twin sister and the story unfolds from that point. I love how Keegan gets his well deserved happily ever after and recommend that reader’s who are interested in this book find out for themselves.

This is a wonderful story of how life can come full circle to a new beginning. Kelly's stories always make me feel so many emotions and I love how engaged a reader can become in her books. Another thing I really like is the way the story works out to an HEA but not the way you thought it would exactly. Literally I lose track of time and become engrossed in the story line and characters in her books. I will definitely be reading more of this author in the future.

This is one emotional ride. I loved this story and could not put it down. Keegan lost so much, first his wife and then 12 yrs later his best friend. He is trying to do the right thing and find Wolfe's twin sister. When Shay gets those letters from Keegan, they seem to have a connection. The way Kelly brought this story together was wonderful. I cried, I laughed and in the end there was big smiles. I would recommend this book to anyone who believes that true love never dies no matter what.

Kelly Moore is a new author to me and all I can say is Wow! This book grabbed me from page one and did not let go until the end.

This book is written from alternating points of view and each chapter builds so well on the previous one. The emotion Kelly has written practically spills from the pages. I don't want to share any of the plot as it will spoil the book but trust me when I say it is worth the read.

Kudos on a job well-done... Keegan and Timber's story is one I will not soon forget.

Oh My Gosh, This book Does it for me!!! Kelly Moore pulls so much emotion with this one. Your heart will hurt from the first chapter. So many feels, so much love, so much heartbreak, such a trip of soul searching for who Timber/Shay/Dyani is or isn’t. So much angst for Wolfe, the best friend lost, brother never known, and memories that may never be found. Conflict, how can it be possible to have and love a child and not remember. Then there is Keegan/David. Reliving over and over heartbreak, pain and loss of wife, best friend, lover. Never really recovering and new wounds, joy, passion and gut wrenching confusion of finding that 12 years later you think that you’ve seen her.
This book will be one of the best you have ever read. It will keep you so drawn in that you cant put it down until you’ve read it in it’s entirety.

Grab tissues, sit ALONE and dive info this greatly written and complex story.
Ms. Moore never dissapoints with characters.
