In this romance we follow Mila and Brooks as they reconnect during a hurricane. It was just the right amount of steamy and emotional. I loved each of the characters and completely understood each of the struggles they had that molded their views of relationships. This redemption romance was a quick but great read.

I received an ARC from the author thru Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving my review. This is the second book in the Bad Boy and Bachelors series. It is a second chance at love between Mila and Brooks. They were once in love but things ended with hurting on both sides. Never would they have imagined that mother nature would force them into facing the past. Here come the sparks that fly. Their lives have gone in different directions but their hearts never did. If they want to have a chance to be happy, they will need to listen to their hearts. The chemistry between them was great.

Mila and Brooks had once loved each other – and, in fact, they still do but won’t acknowledge that. They split up, both of them broken-hearted. But now they find themselves forced together with a hurricane threat, and they need to re-examine their feelings. Is it smart to risk a second chance on love? Or will they walk away in devastating pain again, never knowing the value of the love that was offered?

This was a good story line that pulled feelings out of the reader so we were right there experiencing all of it with Mila and Brooks. Is love worth the risk? How will they decide which choice to make?

This second chance romance packed plenty of heat. Brooks and Mika had quite a sizzling hot chemistry together. Though they had so much emotional baggage between them that they need to overcome to reach their HEA. Though I enjoyed the book, I did find the characters a bit irritating and immature at times and I just wanted to shake some sense into them.

This was an interesting story. I won’t lie about both main character pissing me off with how stubborn they were. I’m glad with how the story played out. I was getting nervous towards the end. I can’t wait to read the next one in this series.

This book could have been titled Learning From Your Mistakes! It’s a well written journey outlining Brooks realization of what he had lost with Mia. I really liked the character development and was impressed that I felt so much with these characters. Download and enjoy❤️❤️❤️
