I’m the bass player for Straight Wicked, the hottest rock band in years. My angel face hides my devil’s desire. Every woman thinks she wants me, but they don’t know me.I always go too far.Our band is unraveling and it’s my fault. Cleaning up my act won’t save shit, but if pretending to do it gets me what I want…. I want her. I want the woman I can’t have. I want to ravage her soul and steal her innocence. She’s my worst addiction. With her, I almost believe I’m salvageable—but I’m not. I’m irreparably damaged. I’m going to destroy her.My name is Logan MacKenzie and I’m in love with my best friend.
I absolutely love Logan’s story! It was beautiful story! it reminds you that no matter how high or low you are in your life there is always hope love and strength you just have to find it in yourself to know your worth. and you can be happy and find love 💕 if you haven’t read any of Kristine’s books you should they are amazing
I really enjoyed this book. Logan has been suffering in silence and self destructing for years. Meeting Stella gives him reasons to fix what is broken but as this story points out, you have to want to fix yourself before you can be everything to others. Stella was strong and not enabling.I am not sure why I started this rock series in the middle but I look forward to catching up.
A day and a half. That's all it took for me to finish reading Logan's story. Just like the first two books in the Straight Wicked series, I couldn't tear myself away from No Treble Allowed. Logan and Stella's story will hit you in the heart and leave a lasting impression.
Pill poppers deserve love, too! I'm glad that this was my first read in the series. It helped me see the MMC through fresh eyes, like Stella, and that prologue sucks you right from the start. I felt devastated on his behalf of the trauma he endured, and I understood how he slipped into his addiction. As for the romance, wow! We had an FMC who was not a pushover but was sweet. Stella had her own baggage to work through, and watching them both open up to the possibility of love was powerful. Stella's no-nonsense not accepting his crap approach but with love is how Logan finally beat his past and addiction. The romance build was sweet with heat. Logan liked it a little rough and zoned out, but the scenes read as 🥵.
The struggle is real....just try putting this book down after you start it! I love Kristine Allen’s writing! She is masterful at developing the characters in a way that you intimately know them. The additional bonus in this book is following a journey of substance abuse and the struggle it takes to overcome that part of your life, and the support that is necessary. This book has it all...hot steamy scenes, romance, suspense, and characters that you love and support! I also love how Kristine stays true to the story line of the series and weaves in the other band members!
Okay, this book touches on a rough subject for me, the emotional and physical pain Logan is going through is not something you can fake, he's dying on the inside and calling out for help the only way he knows how and that's substance abuse. I don't know how he manage to survive but he did, meeting the love of his life made life that much sweeter. Writing this review was very sad for me but I did it just because of the way the author potray these characters, this is a very must read and recommendable book but just make sure you have your tissues ready, well done!
This oh my wow what can I say I'm just totally blown away with this amazing book. It is emotionally raw and gripping. I felt this story deeply. It has a powerful moving storyline, with what was going on, and what was happening. Logan and Stella will take you by surprise. I was not expecting or even prepared for how this one was gonna go. I cannot say it enough that this book will just pull you in and hit you right in the feels. You won't want to put this one down till the very end. It's a must read that I recommend.
Logan must face his demons. The booze and the pills have taken a toll on everyone around him including his old new best friend, Stella. He meets her in Boston after bedding Aiden's little sis. She has been in love with him since she served him coffee in Seattle. Can Logan conquer his demons, overcome his addiction, and loss his guilt over Lucas ' death to find happiness with Stella? Best read so far in series.
Stella and Logan have secrets that could tear them apart. Can the trust each other enough to lay it all on the line or will they continue to keep secrets from one another? Logan's addiction just might be the end of everything good in his life, if he can't get himself under control he just might lose it all.
I could not put this one down. I love a broken alpha male who has a strong woman fighting for him. Logan and Stella are these two. A relationship built on a firm friendship foundation. The love and hot steamy times come later. I love this band! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
I love books. This book sheds light on a subject that hits close to home for so many. So many loose the battle with drugs and alcohol. Thank you Kristine Allen for writing this story in a way that sheds light on more than just the hard parts. I loved the story.
I legit cant get enough of this series. I couldnt put this book down I had to know what was going to happen yet. I love the characters and the family in this series so much.
Love Stella and Logan's story. Logan is one tortured man with demons haunting him. Love how him and Stella connects and how Logan chooses to become a better man for himself.
This book is quite emotionally moving. I thought the story was powerful and had a raw genuineness to it. Logan was a character that a lot of people will be able to relate to. I liked Stella and Logan as a couple and their struggles tugged at my heart. I am posting an impartial, independent review.
This poor, tortured young man turns to substance & alcoholic abuse to run from his demons. Kristine Allen continues to amaze me with her books. She touches on subjects that tear your heart out, then turns around and soothes the heart & mind
