Good reminders about Jesus’s character, but nothing earth-shattering or brand new. I liked that she used a different female from the Bible to illustrate Jesus’s character traits. There was also an element of worship music threaded throughout because Wendy says she absolutely loves music and singing. It was a sweet addition but again not altogether earth-shattering. I think the book would have had the same affect without the addition of music history. Nice enough read for book club.

Jesus Everlasting is an amazing book. Wendy has such a way of writing that you feel as if you are sitting with her and talking about the book. This is a book to read and reread over again. I so enjoyed reading this book and sitting at Jesus feet and growing in relationship with Him. I have already purchased several as gifts and I will be purchasing more as Christmas presents.

Quick Uplifting Read

I love how Pope incorporated hymns into the narrative. This book is a splendid reminder of who Jesus is and of how He views the role of women.
