The uprising will destroy everything. A change of heart might stop it.
The virus attack on Exilon 5 is over. ITF Director Bill Taggart has negotiated a fragile peace. Now he just has to keep it.
He doesn’t.
A new force seizes the cities—and strips Bill of his position. Three factions demand independence. And someone has orchestrated the takeover from the shadows.
When an old ally reaches out, Bill thinks he’s found the mastermind. He’s wrong. The deeper he digs, the more the enemy’s motives twist into something he never saw coming.
The uprising is gaining ground. The peace is collapsing. And Bill realises the real threat isn’t the enemy’s plan—it’s his own.
To stop the revolt, he’ll have to become someone he swore he’d never be.
When the only way forward is surrender, the revolution begins.
The final stand begins here. Read Genesis Rising now.
Eliza Green tried her hand at fashion designing, massage, painting, and even ghost hunting, before finding her love of writing. She often wonders if her desire to change the ending of a particular glittery vampire story steered her in that direction (it did). After earning her degree in marketing, Eliza went on to work in everything but marketing, but swears she uses it in everyday life, or so she tells her bank manager.
Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland, she lives there with her sci-fi loving, evil genius best friend. When not working on her next amazing science fiction adventure, you can find her reading, indulging in new food at an amazing restaurant or simply singing along to something with a half decent beat.
It’s a wrap! Not just an end to a fabulous series, but a STELLAR end to a saga that has spanned miles, years and universes! Eliza Green has outdone herself with GENESIS RISING! Talk about tying up loose ends, forming new beginnings and pulling out all of the stops on plot surprises and relationships!
I got that rare feeling like I was leaving old friends behind, that they are going to be better than ever, that new understandings have been created in a world where science is its own Frankenstein’s monster and humanity got what it asked for, then feared it. Will it be possible for Bill to bring all the factions together in harmony? It is do or die time for everyone, but the walls of hatred and deception must come down, not only for each world, but for individuals, too.
Brilliant writing once again on the part of Eliza Green in this nonstop GRANDE finale! I can’t help but wonder what the future will hold for characters that came to life for me.
If you haven’t tried this intense science fiction/survival/ series or any of Ms. Green’s creative tales, you are missing out on some mind-bending reading that won’t seem so farfetched as a possible future when we exhaust what the Earth has to give. Highly recommended!
I received a complimentary ARC edition from Eliza Green! This is my honest and voluntary review.

I may sound like a broken record here, but I genuinely feel as though Eliza Green gets better with every single book! As sad as I might feel to see an excellent series end, I believe there couldn't have been a better ending. It was great to see all of the story arcs come to a fitting close; the characters got everything they needed; and this series has honestly been a pleasure to read.
What I love the most about Eliza's writing is her ability to create sci-fi that seems incredibly realistic and she paints scenes and creates characters with such depth and believability, I could almost be watching the evening news. I'm loathe to talk about the book in detail because I really hate spoilers. So, I'll just say that Bill Taggart and every other major character in this series has captured my interest. Even the "bad guys". Simply because they were so well written that they seemed completely real.
If you love realistic, believable sci-fi with well developed characters and world-building that rivals the greats of the genre, then I urge you to check out the Genesis series along with every other one of Eliza Green's books. I can promise you, you'll be very grateful and not in the slightest bit disappointed!
I received an advance copy from the author and this is my honest and voluntary review.
Wow. I thought this was a great series finale - all the important sub plots get tied up and for one character there are some surprising actions and we get to find out the rationale behind some of his actions. If you like books of a decent length, this is a good one, and if you like to understand things and have them pretty much tied off, then this is a great book for that. I found that although I was satisfied about what had happened, and the series stopped in a good place, I would love for this world to be revisited at some point in the future, perhaps when Ben is grown? Just my opinion, but wouldn't that be great? I wonder if other readers think, like me, that he might choose someone very unusual as a partner? Anyway, I digress, I should be talking about this book, not the future. As usual from this author, the book was well written and made sense. By this book I think we all have the ability to visualise Exilon 5 in our mind's eye, and so there is a certain amount of sadness when a series ends, as is usual for a world that has been well created and we have sympathy for its inhabitants. I shall miss this world, some of the inhabitants (but not others!), and look forward to what will come next from this imaginative and adept writer.
I'm always sad when I come to the end of a series. Having to say goodbye to characters who feel like friends and family. That's how I felt reading the last book.
I loved the series so much that I kept hoping there would be threads that could lead to new books. I live in hope.
The finale is fully set on Exilon, the Indegenies have all been cured and the Nexus is returning to normal. The elite are all gone and the conditioned are isolating themselves from all. Those Indegienes who rebelled have run off and everyone is feeling loss. Stephen and Serena are the elders now. Bill and Laura are in charge of the ITF.
The problem now is a total lack of power and Buchanan's intentions. Bill and Laura need to find and rescue Ben, who he's kidnapped. They find themselves making unusual alliances along the way as they race to keep ahead of Buchanan and stop his plan - whatever that is.
As usual Eliza is a master at leaving us guessing, the reader feels as confused as the characters do, as they try to figure things out.
I recommend the whole series to science fiction fans wanting to see a probable future if we continue to treat the Earth as disposable.
I received an advanced copy from the author for my fair and honest review.
It has taken me a long time to right this review - basically because to do so was to admit the end of the series and I wasn't ready to do that yet.
Fast paced, nail-biting and thrilling are all words that spring to mind as Bill and Laura strive to make a world safe for everyone, regardless of race. Navigating challenge after challenge, the twists and turns keep coming as they discover that not allies are friends, and not all friends are allies.
Without giving away spoilers, I will just say that this was a worthy conclusion to an epic sci-fi series.
Note; I received a free ARC from the author in return for my honest and unbiased review of this book.
Am I glad I read it - absolutely Was it a waste of my time - not at all Would I sit down and read it all over again - yes, I would Would I read more by this author based on this book - yes, I am so sad to reach the end of this series but keen to see what else the author has to offer in her other series.
Series is finished. The fight against Harvey Buchanon brings together the humans, indigenes, and the conditioned in a race to stop him. Story of changing the system, not the being. Good ending to the series, however sad I am to see it end.
Thank you again for an excellent read. From start to finish I really enjoyed the way the book went back to previous volumes as a reminder, but didn't go overboard with the revisit. Well done.
As usual another great book in the series. So sad to see it end but as the old saying goes, "All good thigs must come to an end". Thank You Eliza for a great series...
