Informative. Extended beyond the standard practice and shared stories, which I appreciated. The birth plan template in the back will be useful as we write ours up.

Dr. Mitchell is knowledgeable and brilliant and, best of all, honest. This guide is engaging, concise, helpful, and easy to understand. I recommend this book for all people about to become parents and for birth workers and anyone acting as support in the birth space. Whether you're new to this space or have given birth yourself or supported births multiple times, this guide is a wonderful resource.

Also highly recommend following her on Instagram (@doctor_midwife) and participating in her Sunday Cervix series. Doctor Midwife is the best!!
