Wonderful, well rounded short story. This story really creates a strong mental image, and an ominous feeling penetrating from beginning to end. It makes you crave more, while still feeling complete! Davey Cobb's writing talent is really evident, in creating an entire world in a few short pages. An easy read and introduction to those who crave a deep story but not a lot of time to read. I definitely recommend! Can't wait for more short stories from this universe and beyond.

Absolutely stunning writing in this short story by debut author, Davey Cobb. Each grotesque moment can be easily visualised, which made me feel both physically disgusted at the situations presented and emotionally invested in the protagonist’s fate. Highly recommend reading! 5 Stars!
I cannot wait to see what this writer produces next!
