Boss Build: A Monster Girl Adventure

A Monster Girl Adventure

Roy Boss, the CEO of VentureForge Industries, just woke up in a different galaxy.
He’s lost his company and his body, and the man who murdered him might still be alive. The good news is he’s on Plymouth, an almost mythical world where monsters are designed and printed for Roy’s game worlds. First order of the day: print himself a superpowered body and get back what’s his.

But everything isn’t as it seems. The research lab he arrived in is deserted except for a few dead security guards, and the streets outside are filled with thousands of robot dogs programmed for one single purpose: kill Roy Boss.

But Roy has an entire catalog of savior-class monster girls he can print up to help him clean house, each with their own powers, transformations, and fetishes. Hit Print for justice, for satisfaction, and for the love of the game.

From Aaron Crash, bestselling author of Barbarian Outcast and the American Dragon series, comes a brand-new world that will leave you turning pages late into the night.

Disclaimer:Boss Build is an explicit sci-if harem adventure. There are girls, guns, and sex on the page. Each of Roy’s monster girls is fully configurable when it comes to bedroom activities. It's like a smutty I Am Legend meets Westworld. You have been warned.

I just found this one kinda creepy and weird. The main character is exploiting and banging what are effectively children with fox tails. There's probably someone who would like this series a lot, but I found the harem elements uninteresting (girls are too available, have bland personalities, and there's moral complications), and the strategy and LitRPG components were too rare to carry me through to the end of the book. The world and tactics involved seem like they could be very interesting, but they are more like window dressing for this book than anything.

Let me start by saying that I have had a very difficult time with Aaron Crash as an author.

I DNF American Dragons about halfway through book 1. The characters were terrible and the writing was sub-sub par. I DNF 'Robot Bangarang' or 'Damnation Robot' poor writing again (Same issues as American Dragons), but I genuinely like his story concepts. Raider Annihilation was 'ok' (better written) but I couldn't empathize with the cast and found zero redeeming features in the constantly stoned/drunk characters. His work on War Gods Mantel however was very well done and so I decided to give his works one last chance.

I am so very glad I did.

Boss Build is a very enjoyable story with an MC and cast I CAN empathize with and is written to decent (it's Harem Pulp Lit, not The Bard) standards and overall I am VERY satisfied with my purchase. I completed this book in one sitting and happily look forward to setting aside time for Book 2 when it becomes available. This is the Aaron Crash novel that I found to be a perfect blend of excellent story ideas, a likable cast of characters, and good technical writing.

I hope that this story marks a new standard for the Author. Well done Sir.

A real fun read with a little bit of gaming thrown in.

I really enjoyed reading this book the idea that was behind it was very interesting. For me the book was very immersive in the fact that the words faded from my eyes and I could see what was going on in my mind's eye in the story. I really enjoy reading those kinds of books with the author pulls you in.the main character is gritty witty and not a whiny little coward. The story has edge of your seat action and suspense as well as pretty girls Aaa, yes the pretty girls. I also think the romance was very well written and not just taking for granted ,grab this book and give it a chance I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as me.

It was a good read! Enjoyable and creative.

The book read rather well! I think I found about 3 maybe 4 editing mistakes and some dialog issues where I wasn't sure who was speaking. I can't say much about that because I make those mistakes as well.

I enjoyed the characters and the background as well as the story development. It kept me reading and that speaks volumes. It wasn't overly descriptive and it wasn't under explained when it came to the naughty bits and I could have used a little more when it came to the gates. A little better understanding of what they were and how they were used maybe.

All in all, it was an entertaining book that I will be continuing as the series progresses.

Held off on reading this as I find any take on the build a girlfriend trope to be cringe. This skirts the line a bit with how the ‘data source’ for them adds some aspects the mc can’t control. Still cringe when they talk about tweaking personality traits they don’t like. Also, the fact that they made them extremely horny and the mc being the only warm body around kinda feels like he just made them interested in him.... The synopsis also gave me the impression there would be more survival aspects, it’s mainly character drama and the odd mystery about where the mc ends up. It's not really isekai either, the insinuation is that they will return at some point.

Fun and Exciting

When I read the description for this book I knew I wanted to read it.
I'm glad I did! The world building and characters are fun and exciting. The exploration of the world the MC finds himself on is interesting, as well as the main plotline.

Characters are fun and amusing to get to know, but some tendencies of their character can seem a bit childish and naive. But I suppose that's on purpose considering the mechanics of the situation and their creation.

Overall I enjoyed the book and hope to see a second one soon!

I tried with this one, but having a key plot point be that he manufactures sex slaves who are programmed to be in love with him, and who he also uses as cannon fodder, just made me extremely uncomfortable. They don’t have the ability to consent, and it isn’t actually love no matter how much you say it is. Honestly it’s a gross idea. I initially gave it a two but the more I think about it, the grosser it is. And there’s two more books! I really liked the barbarian books which is why I gave this one a chance, but I was wrong. There’s no way to make this plot OK.

This was a fun and entertaining read except for. . .

Halcyon. That character ruins the book. She is overdone and spoils any narrative section she is in. Take any interesting section of story and add her, it becomes a series of bad one-liners. Since her issues are grossly obvious, the MC's pointless devotion to her makes little sense. This whole thing could have been a five star if you took out Hal and stuck in a generic AI helper. She was that bad.

Wow Awesome Story

The first book in the Monster Girl Creation series. Is a truly fantastic start to a series. I love the characters of Roy Boss, Tails, Toxy, And Joey. The way they are written makes them seem so real. I really got in to their lives. I'm really eager to read the sequel. Fantastic job Aaro!n

Good concept.....but

I really wanted to like this book but I just couldn't get into it. It seemed like most of it was panned out talking about abilities. I thought the guy was gonna take revenge on his company but most of it was about fighting robotic dogs.

I will give you credit for correctly labeling baby foxes as kits

Porn

This is porn with a small side of a story.

The characters are unrealistic and unrelatable. The character Hal was just plain irritating.

If you like women who curse for no reason and cannot communicate without mentioning sex, you will like this character.

Only get this is you want to read porn.

Good Printing Fun

A good read but maybe not as good as some of his other series so far.
I liked the concept of printing and a new world in space set in the future with two good plots to keep the action going.
A bit heavier with harem rather than action but it may change further in the series. As it is Crash i shall be checking out more this series to see where it develops to.

Fantastic!

This is a highly entertaining read and a great start to the series. I like that the MC is not a pushover and has a confidence that doesn't contain a ton of arrogance. Definitely enjoyed the character development and the plot is also interesting. Looking forward to reading the next book.

Addicted and can’t wait for the sequel

I loved Roy and the cast, they have a lot of options to do as adventures and I can’t wait to see the mysteries of Plymouth be uncovered and Roy’s path to vengeance.

Building life

This was a pretty epic story with a whole lot of depth and adventure. If you love a great bit of sci-fi with some cohesive fantasy elements and sexy monster women I'd recommend you pick up this book!

A new sort of Isekei

Rather than waking up in a new world with his own body, our MC is reincarnated with a new body and his old mind. A great combination of tech, magic and monster girls.

Another porn writter disguising as someone writing fantasy. I liked the premise and was hopefull but in the end there was no real plot to this book. If something did happen with the plot it was just to setup another sexual encounter

I really enjoyed this futuristic scene. The elements of sci-fi were used well. The characters were fun and full of attitude. As always Aaron Crash delivers on the action side of things.

Interesting harem series

Nice spin on the dungeon master/ harem series. I liked the development of the MC and support characters. Not everyone got along which added spice.

Interesting approach to harem story

The author has a fresh approach to science/harem sagas. The story is intriguing and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this fun harem novel which is the first in a new series by Aaron Crash, whereby we find Joyce Halcyon, turning herself into code and uploading herself into a computer on the planet known as Plymouth when this went through the Ordeal which left it devastated and over run by rabid robotic monstrous tentacled dogs. She also had uploaded the details of a plan B for her contact over in a planet in a different galaxy, Ray Boss who was the owner of Venture Forge Industries, and who happened to be murdered and thus needed plan B which thank goodness worked. He ends up in Plymouth hounded by the dogs who somehow were out for his blood. He and the AI he still calls Halcyon start printing monster girls which are all saviour class and dungeon bosses to save their new world. Ray loves the creatures they created and they in turn love him though they take a while to take to each other and fight for dominance as is the way with dungeon bosses. Ray and the girls plan to make a life for themselves on this, their new home so start building for protection and security and Ray wants vengeance on his murderers who are stealing his business after stealing his life back on earth. I love the way the storyline unfolds and am really into reading further into this series. I also enjoyed the ribald talk and sex scenes but these make the book fit for a mature audience and definitely not for prudes!
