A Thriving Nation Built On Dreams, A Remarkable Woman Determined To Win...

She came to America from the streets of London. And though her childhood was beset by hardship and heartache, Holly Cavendish never lost hope.
Using a pen-name, the feisty green-eyed beauty dared to write for the San Francisco Herald, gaining local prominence - and a job from famed editor Horace Greeley. Risking her life to expose corruption and graft in New York City, campaigning for women's suffrage with Susan B. Anthony, Holly felt the pulse of young, vibrant country at her fingertips. But in her heart she longed for more - a deep and passionate love - as all consuming as her triumphant destiny...
