Into the storm
This is a truly epic adventure and the overall lore and world building is incredible! You can't help but love the characters and the journey they are on! I eagerly await the next one

Excellent, I am always amazed at how well the dialog is written. I often call these books a guilty pleasure because the sex scenes are.... Just... Arbitrary, usually have little to do with the plot and I often skip the majority so I can get any plot in would other wise miss. I have read another author who wrote similar scenes that were contributory to the plot and didn't seem to sort of feel like a commercial for a really badly acted porn. But if you look passed these things off they are not your cup of tea you will find this author to be very skilled indeed. I will admit I understand why the scenes come of the way they do but I am of the opinion the stories would not be lacking in any way without. I have read many series by this author and recommend you give him a shot. As of the publishing of this book it's one of my favorites of mine though admittedly I have only read six series totalling some thirty books. If you don't like x rated sec scenes but are looking for a person displaced from earth coping on a new world vice this series a try it is great, if you dont mind, well its defendantly worth your time. There is a lot to unpack in this install mentality but know I read it cover to cover in a single sitting, and left wanting more, It's that good I have to cue up five next but need to catch up on yep other series of his at last

This just keeps getting better and better
Things are looking up for the newest 5th ranked Asher, Another corrupt Asher is dead, and Alex and his crew are cataloging the spoils, but just like the last estate, this one is full of traps and monsters! At every turn Alex seems to attract those who've put their own greed above serving the people of his new home. Adds this book to your collection!

Fantastic!
I thoroughly love this series from the first book, and the latest book is no exception.
The mystery, plots and intrigue add for an exciting atmosphere where your never too sure what's going to happen next.
But it's the interactions Alex has with his family and crew that make these book so enjoyable.
Eagerly anticipate the next book!

Still a good series but getting a bit complicated
Series still has a good story, but it is getting a bit complicated with (maybe?) too many minor characters. The book started off without any reference to the previous book so I was a bit confused before getting back into the story.

Good story, but.........
This series has not reached the saturation point, just yet. It is starting to read like a rehash of previous books. Alex and his crew have fought and killed many enemies but the evil keeps coming. With minions, renegade Ashers, perpetual hurricanes and insanity ore what will they do? Curl up maybe and have a sexual marathon????? WHY NOT?

I love this series
Hands down my favorite series. From any author. We get interesting, developed characters (I want Zoie), outstanding world building, politics and intrigue. Each book in the series just continues to add to the amazing story. I am really hoping this one ends up with 20+ books.

Continuously Awesome Series!
Talk about cliff hangers. The fourth book of this fantastic series. Had all the right mix of drama, action and comedy. As all the other books of this series. This book though has a cliff hanger of an ending. Though in a good way. Can't wait for book five.

Alex is gaining rank and status. He is also developing feelings for a prospective third wife. Mysterious people attack him and his crew. I feel like I'm there in the scenes as I experience the characters' emotions and the vivid actions. I like the intrigue, humor, and romance. I look forward to the next book.

A very Good series and read. It actually got me involved in the characters and the whole story line is solid and we'll planned.
I have enjoyed every page and the characters and the well thought out world they inhabit. It is something I will read again.

Everything I have come to expect
Duelist 4 has everything I have come to expect and love from this series, including stakes that continue to be raised in a believable manner.

Bit of a slow burn but sets up next arc nicely
Plot wise, there’s not too much forward momentum but this book does a fine job of setting up the next big story arc on Tera island aka Fantasy Jurassic Park.

Book 4 started right where the previous book left off and it’s was good! Glad to see more character development and to see the story leaving Nata Isle and expanding the world. Can’t wait for book 5

This book keeps the story arc going. It is definitely building to more interesting encounters. Looks like the story is going to expand as Alex continues to make new allies.

Every step forward encounters forces pushing back but Alex ever the optimist carries through to push for a win, or at least a brief reprieve. The page turning drama continues.
