Would you take the chance to fulfill a lifelong dream if it meant betraying the man you love?
I was beyond thrilled when I got a job managing an art gallery straight out of my master’s.
Never in a million years did I think I’ll be hired for such a prestigious job. But here I am, celebrating my new life at a bar in Cannon Beach, Oregon.
I feel unstoppable until a handsome devil swaggers in like he owns the place. I can’t afford any distractions, and I don’t go for the entitled bad boy, but I feel drawn to this stranger.
Before long, he presses his soft lips against mine, and to my surprise, I return the kiss.
Nothing wrong with having a bit of fun, I tell myself. After all, I’ll probably never see him again.
Only I do. The next day when I learn that, Henry Brookfield, the handsome devil I kissed last night is the owner and artist of the gallery I’m managing.
I try to keep it professional, but with Henry, I can’t shake the attraction. He’s captivating, full of passion, darkness, and beauty.
Just as my defenses crumble and I let Henry in, his partner offers me a deal. Henry hasn’t painted since his late wife’s death. If I can convince him to paint again, I can run my own gallery.
Can I betray Henry to make my dream come true? Should I follow my head or my heart? It feels like either way, I’ll lose.
Temptation is a tantalizing bad boy billionaire romance, featuring a passionate art dealer and a billionaire bad boy artist.

Whether you're here for the slow burn, the emotional rollercoaster, or the sparks that leap off the page, I write with one goal in mind: to remind you that love—messy, magical, and real—is always worth believing in.
If you believe in the power of connection and the beauty of a second chance, you’re in the right place. Let’s fall in love, one story at a time.
Another amazing read, it has an interesting and sexy storyline that flowed easily and had some wonderfully palpable chemistry. The two main characters are well-drawn, different but perfect for each other. Their story starts with an instant attraction one night in a bar only for her to find out he's her new boss.
This author has a way of writing that reaches out to the reader, grips their interest and holds it to the end.
Two people who seem to be opposites, are inexorably drawn to each other. Both are at a crossroads in their lives, struggling to move forward. One is driven by ambition, the other by pain. Their love story is full of speed bumps and hurdles, but if both choose love over pain, they can have a future they never expected....together.
Henry and Samantha’s story is filled with angst and conflicted emotions. The day after a chance meeting at a bar, Samantha discovers that the sexy stranger she shared a kiss with is in fact her boss. Though she is determined to maintain a professional relationship with Henry, she finds herself hopelessly drawn to him. For Henry, Samantha has stirred something within him that he thought had died with his fiancée years ago. For the first time in years, he is driven to paint again. Their relationship does not stay strictly professional, but rather takes a very passionate, personal turn. But it is not an easy path for them at all. Henry is plagued by guilt about moving on after his fiancée’s death, and is often showing his angry side to Samantha. She is wildly attracted to the rich and moody artist and gallery owner, but his lack of trust and bouts of anger make her believe that they may be better off apart, no matter how much her heart rebels against it. They do have a happily ever after, but you will need to read this insightful and well written story to discover how they achieve it.

Samantha, a transplant to the Oregon coast from Chicago is starting a new job at an art gallery. She decided to celebrate the move and the job at a local bar when a tall, leathered, handsome Henry walks in. Everyone seems to know him, and she can’t seem to take her eyes off him. She overhears he’s been traveling the world, hmm...interesting. Henry buys her a drink, they talk, it’s time for her to leave. Samantha isn’t looking for any fly by night guy, but Henry asks for her number and proceeds to give her the most knee weakening kiss ever. She has to get home NOW! She walks in to the art gallery the next morning ready to wow the patrons and Clara, the woman who hired her. She’s engrossed in work when in walks Henry - The Owner! Samantha is totally screwed, because unless this man continues on his world tour, he’s not someone she can see herself staying away from regardless of her job. Henry is damaged though. His tragic past is keeping him from the present moments, and that’s why he’s been running. The thing is, something about Samantha makes him want to stay still, or at least stick around. Can they navigate his past, the pressure of the present, and the possibility of a future? I truly enjoyed this book. The only thing that tugged at me was Henry’s inability to wait and listen. He was sort of a hot head and ready to jump to conclusions on more occasion than one.

Temptation is a lovely and heartfelt romantic novel. The two main characters are Samantha and Henry. Samantha just graduated with her Master’s in Fine Arts and is excited about acquiring a new lead position at an art gallery in Canon Beach, Oregon. Henry is an artist who happens to own said art gallery. He is dealing with the loss of his wife from an auto accident several years ago. Samantha and Henry have a chance meeting at a local bar where they are immediately attracted to one another. However, Samantha is shocked the next day to find out after she and Henry meet that he is actually her new boss. Things escalate after this realization and the reader is led on their whirlwind romance filled with trials and tribulations of Samantha and Henry dealing with the loss of his wife, trust and honesty issues, and accepting true love into one’s life while also allowing oneself to be loved in return. The character, Samantha, is a true gem. She is intelligent, honest, forthright, and full of empathy. She is a character to admire who made the novel a true joy to read. Cheers to Elizabeth Grey for writing this enthralling and emotionally riveting novel!

Samantha had just arrived in town to manage an art gallery and decided to stop into a local bar, order a hard cider and let the weariness of travel fall off her shoulders before she had to tackle unpacking. The roaring of a motorcycle drew her eyes to the door and in walks in a man she can't take her eyes off of.
Samantha is excited as she opens the gallery. She is so excited to begin her first day. Until the gorgeous man from last night enters the gallery and she finds out he is the owner of the gallery. The man she made out with last night is her BOSS!
I really like this story. Despite it only being from Samantha's POV the other characters are well developed and you feel their emotions. The chemistry between Samantha and Henry is evident from their first meeting and even with the past that he's been running away from for years you see him wanted to change.
The book is very well written and the storyline interesting from beginning to end. The sexy times are very steamy. I highly recommend this book and Elizabeth Grey!

Samantha is just starting a new job in anew city. She goes out to relax at a bar instead of finishing unpacking and she meets Henry. Sparks fly between them and soon they are leaving together. The next day when Samantha is at her new job Henry walks in and she is surprised. Thinking he is a customer she talks to him about a painting and then learns that he owns the gallery. Worried about how it looks considering how they met and what happened between them Samantha tries to fight her attraction. Even with him not sure if he will be staying or not Henry can't stop thinking about her. Like magnets they keep getting drawn back together. Will they find a way to be together? Can they run the gallery together?
This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Samantha had just gotten to town for her new job as a Gallery manager. Tired she took a break at a local club before heading to the task of unpacking. She found herself drawn to an attractive man named Henry and they shared a kiss. imagine her surprise the next morning when she finds out that he's half owner of the Gallery. Their chemistry is strong and his partner asks her to influence Henry to paint again. He hasn't picked up a paint brush since his wife's death. The book is told from Samanta's POV so sometimes it's hard to know what Henry is thinking. The book was a little draggy at the start but picked up. I thought the drama between the gallery owners and Samantha could have been toned down if they communicated better. Overall it was a good book with interesting characters and a steamy story line. Henry wanders thru life traveling seeing the sites around the world. Samantha finally has her dream job which is the next step in her life goals. After meeting at a bar, connecting and exchanging phone numbers Samantha is excited to take the next step. That is til the next morning when Henry comes in to her job and she finds out he is one of the co-owners. This is a definite no in her dating rule book and she feels Henry mislead her. Thru many misunderstandings and disagreements the pair finally work thru them and find love. Elizabeth Grey does a great job of leading the reader through the misunderstandings and keeping the reader entertained throughout. I really enjoyed the book and I can’t wait for Jace’s story (hopefully, maybe with Talia). Highly Recommend.

Samantha and Henry are 2 drifting souls who find their missing piece in each other. I liked the aspect of Nick’s past bringing difficult and emotional turmoil to the story, but I just felt the angst level was too low for such a tragic back story. I only liked the characters - I didn’t love any of them and therein lies the reason I’m giving it 3 stars. It was well written with some beautiful details, but I just couldn’t get invested in the characters as I was hoping. The characters and their journey was likeable enough, it was just missing a hook to really draw me in. It’s an interesting read - just not super engaging.
Thank you to the author for the ARC!

Samantha and Henry have in common the love for the arts and travels, but, apparently, not much more. He is a suffering due to the loss of his love and is closed off to love. She is new in town to start her dream job in an art gallery. They meet at a bar her first night there and are really attracted to each other. The goodbye kiss just melts her away. Too bad the following day when she starts her dream job, she finds out he is her boss. But the draw between them isn't easy to fight. I liked this story. It takes us through a lot of ups and downs and twist and turns emotionally, and the characters are relatable enough. It's a good read.
I received a free ARC copy of this book and this is my honest opinion
This was a really great book. Two people who find eachother who both brought the light back into each other’s lives. Neither looking for a relationship in the beginning but learn together they open their eyes and hearts to live again.
Samantha is new in town and excited to start her new job as a manager at a art gallery. Instead of unpacking her boxes and settling in she decided she needed a drink at the local bar to unwind. Henry is the owner of the art gallery Samantha have been hired to manage. Five years ago he was in a car accident and lost his fiance ever since then he gave up on his passion of painting. When Henry meets Samantha he knew there was something special about her, she made him want to live and experience again.
Samantha is new in town and is excited to start her new job managing an art gallery, and she stops in a bar for a drink before heading home to unpack. When a sexy man walks in Sam is instantly drawn to him, and they end up kissing, only to find out the next morning when she opens the gallery, that this is Henry, an artist, and her new boss. The chemistry between them is palpable and undeniable, and they are the perfect complement for each other. This is a well written story which is entertaining, and with emotions, and love which all leads to an all-consuming and addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Sometimes nothing is like it seems and than it is... Samantha proofs to be made of steel and roses. With the whirlwind of emotions she has to go through to reach her hearts desire it certainly isn’t for the faint of heart. I liked her spirit. Her perspective of life and personality, her respectful behavior in face of unjustified repercussions for things she never did. Not with bad intentions anyway... Henry is adorable in his own way but has a lot to learn for not to cluck it all up! Now I wonder if there will be a future for Jace and Talia???

I really enjoyed this book. It was extremely entertaining and had the right amount of steam. The characters were easily to love (in some cases easy to dislike!) and well written. I was drawn into the story from the start
I was beyond frustrated with how easily Henry was forgiven every time he walked away though. that is probably the only point of contention I had with this story. I don't think any woman would be so easy to forgive like that.

Elizabeth Grey has an amazing talent putting words together to tell a story in her books. Samantha and Henry, in Temptation, drew me into their lives from the beginning. Samantha is starting her dream career of managing an art gallery. Henry, an artist with some emotional challenges, makes a dramatic entrance to the local bar and their relationship journey begins. Some spice, steam, sadness, secrets, pleasure and passion, are combined into a well written book. I loved this book and highly recommend it.

Temptation was a gripping book from beginning to end. The characters had fantastic chemistry, making the insta-love storyline both charismatic and believable. The book was well-written and flowed so well that I lost track of time and couldn't believe it was time for it to be over come the end. I look forward to reading more of Elizabeth Grey's books in the future.

First I would like to say I absolutely love the fact that it was made "in Oregon" I love being able to picture the scenery as I read the scenes. Henry went through so much tragedy and was guarding his heart. But meeting Samantha brought feelings he hadnt felt in a while to the surface. This book was romantic, passionate, steamy, and a little bit of drama added to it. It is a must read.

Samantha was trying to move closer to her dream. Henry was trying to keep his past a distant memory. But when the 2 come together its hard to do either. Samantha unknowingly was trying to fix Henry and in turn makes it hard to know what she really wants. The constant push and pull between the 2 makes it hard to put the book down

Samantha and Henry story is heartwarming just as it’s a emotional. We love the night these two get together just to find out it’s her boss the next morning! Elizabeth Grey pulls us into one great read as we follow the characters into their drama and love the chemistry they spark off each other. A must read I think you will love.

Samantha and Henry's story is one about overcoming the pain of loss and choosing love. This story is heartfelt and romantic, with tear-jerker situations, it's definitely a roller-coaster of emotions but so well written that it hooks you right on the first pages and it's hard to put down before the last page. I liked it very much and recommend it.

I fell in love with Henry and Sam. Their story was told so skillfully by the author and I could just picture the scenery , the town and the two of them. The author has woven a tale so wonderful that I almost didn't want it to end. Can't wait for the next book.

This story of Henry and Samantha is so sweet. Lifes lessons are sometimes hard to deal with, but you can look at the positive and not the negative. Finding love again makes the world feel right.

It was boring to me. I couldn’t connect with the characters nor the story. I felt for Henry but not enough to be invested in his story. Hopefully I will like the next book. Until next time y’all happy reading.
Good storyline. Love the overall concept. Wish we got a little of the hero POV outside of hearing his points of view only when the couple was together. Otherwise a nice love story.
