The balance shifts. But in what direction…

Kryder and Tog make their way north to warn of the impending invasion by the King of Gar-Noth and his growing forces. One step ahead of those who would make them pay for their attack on the Halls Of Magic, the Human shaman and his Half-Orc cousin carry with them dangerous information. Worse, should they actually make it to Minth, the second leg of their journey is even more perilous—a trip into the Great Northern Desert to look for the lost Mage’s Library.

On the other side of Kerr, Lucas and Johan make their way north on their journey to warn the Lead Hunter of Tarlok and Baron Arnwald of the Baronies West. Like the cousins’ journey, it is a trip fraught with danger, especially since Lucas has decided to take the message to the Orc lands as well.

These people—and many more—are actively making decisions which will either right the Creator’s balance…or upset it even further. Will Kryder and Tog be able to spread the word and make a difference? Will their friends on the other side of Kerr convince those who need convincing?

Will any of them ever be Accepted?

Great pair of books

Well written, engaging, storylines in both books seem odd at first, but do an excellent job of setting the backstory. Looking forward to more from Tyler Ackerman, and have enjoyed everything I have read from Kevin Steverson.

Accepted is the second book in the Balance of Kerr trilogy.

Accepted picks up where Burnt ended. War is coming to Kerr and both sides are getting ready for it.
At first glance, the enemy is in overwhelming strength but it hasn't taken everything into account...

And so it is that Kryder and Tog, after fleeing from the Halls of Magic, gather some new allies and begin to explain to their friends and allies what a monstruosity was hiding within the Halls of Magic, but also warning them of the upcoming war.

And so Kryder and Tog go on a search for the Library of the mages, with their new allies Dolner and June in tow... On the way, they shall meet much needed new allies to get ready to fight for the freedom of all the people of Kerr.

Revelations and surprises abound in this book.

Looking forward to the next tale.

Wow

Waited a long time for this sequel to be written. It's better than the first book. I highly recommend this series. Hopefully the story will continue.

simple read

Violent, simple and mostly entertaining variation of the “Swords and Sandals” genre. Throw in some magic and shady religious references and bingo.
