William, a wanna be thieve, finds himself trying to turn his life around through his association with a local Priest! His associates are determined to destroy his chances at a new life style, and uses whatever force is necessary to deter his ongoing efforts!
Most definitely five stars worthy, as Mr. McConley does an exceptionally outstanding job in his successful descriptive rendition of realistic old American western folklore justice at its very best! No slow downs throughout this exciting western masterpiece of unending adventures from beginning to end! William is determined to end his current lifestyle, and finding an attractive lady only enhances his desires to free himself from the bad guys!
The Author's superbly descriptive storylines successfully portrays the ongoing compassion of this man's determination to right his wrongs, and possibly begin a new life of peace and tranquility! Too, the outstanding character selections were unsurpassed in their commanding assignments throughout this compelling western masterpiece of unending exciting, and heartwarming, adventures!
Certainly no problem recommending this compelling western folklore extravaganza to all readers, but you western folklore fanatics will definitely find yourselves completely mesmerized from beginning to end! Yes, even you non-western buffs will find yourselves completely entertained throughout this exciting rendition of realistic old American western folklore justice at its very best! Try it! A rather unusual western novel. I found the two main characters somewhat believable . The storyline was a little random. Not a book I would recommend for a true reader of westerns.

This was a really good western romance story! Lots of action and suspense all woven together with a lot of love and romance. Very tastefully done, well written and hard to put down. I'll definitely be reading more of McConley's work! A very talented author. I would highly recommend it!

An excellent Western
A great story about a man seeking redemption and to start a new life. Will wanted out of his gang so he could start over and find peace and love. This town and the school teacher seem like the blessed place.
