Creating Superfans is BY FAR the best business book I've ever read. Brittany Hodak shares entertaining and humorous stories that demonstrate her five-part framework for customer experience. If you want to learn without realizing you're actually learning, this is the perfect book for you.

I love how the book is printed in beautiful color, and the song titles throughout are such a fun touch. Brittany reminds readers throughout the book that "experience is everything". Well, reading this book was so fun and informative all at the same time, and I'm officially a superfan!

Creating Superfans completely reshaped the way I thought about customer experience! This is a must-read for anyone that wants to create loyal customers or employees.

Brittany Hodak simplifies customer experience into terms that everyone can understand, remember, and most importantly, implement. My favorite part about the book is the formula that has helped me build stronger relationships with not just my customers or prospects, but with everyone I interact with! Since reading this book, I've been more confident and have been able to make more meaningful connections with others.

My second favorite part? The story about Taylor Swift! Creating Superfans includes dozens of examples of celebrities and pop culture that make this business book unlike any other. I finished it in 2 days, and I can't recommend it enough!

Full disclosure: I'm the author of this book. Does that make me incapable of leaving an unbiased review? Probably. Am I leaving one anything? Definitely. Here's why: I really want you to read this book. And I think you will LOVE it!

I spent almost a decade doing research and nearly three years writing this book. It offers a simple framework that anyone (even you!) can follow to turn customers and employees into loyal superfans. I packed all the best, most actionable advice from my career into these pages. It's a really fun read with tons of references to pop culture and relatable stories from industries and businesses of all sizes. We're living in an experience economy, and companies that don't adjust to that reality are not going to survive.

So, yeah, I'm biased. But I'm also confident this book will help you go from a potential commodity provider in the minds of your prospects and customers to a category of one!

Brittany Hodack is no stranger to fandom and has spent her career following and being in the presence of people who have huge fan bases. She took this amazing opportunity and flipped it upside down and turned it into a business model of how to! How to business brands create super fans like pop stars and rock stars do? Where does that fandom following cone from? Creating super fans is a book that breaks down the magic to knowing steps that are doable actions that you can take to create stickiness in your business whatever it is so clients use you. Remember you and refer you. It’s a reference tool and a great read!

I am always on the lookout for books that I can apply to my school library and improving services for our users. Creating Superfans is all about brand awareness and ensuring your service brings people back again and again.

Creating Superfans has a fun design and layout. The brightly covered cover is reflected inside, with bright graphics and large fonts highlighting key points, song titles and quotes from well known

Brittany Hodak draws upon her experience working with a wide range of clients to outline her “Super Model” and how to improve customer service and brand awareness. Her points all centre around ensuring your customers experience the best, exceeding their expectations every time. It’s a big ask, but Brittany assures readers it’s the best way to make advocates of your customers, build your brand and keep bringing people back for more.

She uses stories and funny anecdotes to make her points and it fits the fun vibe of this whole book. Approachable and easy to read, add this branding book to your must-read pile.

The publishers provided an advanced readers copy of this book for reviewing purposes. All opinions are my own.

This is a great book for anyone who runs a business and/or deals with customer service. Brittany Hodak offers a refreshing, humanized view of business, focused generally on being a good person and providing exceptional service as opposed to solely focusing on being profitable.

Her main system discussed in the book is the SUPER system, an acronym that is a prevailing theme throughout the book to turn customers into fans that will inevitably lead to more referral and business. Any small business knows that referrals are the backbone of the business and the principles in this book are focused around that.

My main criticism of the book is that the SUPER acronym does get repetitive, as good as it is. And I feel like the point could have been communicated in 50 fewer pages.

But this book is an easy read, provides great marketing and customer service insight, and is a valuable read for any business owner.

Too much noise, too little wisdom.
She used senseless personal stories to justify her points. While some advice, like 'listen to your customer' and 'good is the enemy of great' (Jim Collins), is worth following. But the rest feels like filler just to add pages.
This book is an example of how a senseless chik tried to convert an online blog post into a book.
A well-written article on 'how to make your customers love you' would provide more valuable insights in just a few minutes than this book.

Like David Meerman Scott's Fanocracy, this book shows how to spoil your customers rotten and make advocates out of them. It's not surprising to learn that going the extra mile, creating personal touches, and knowing your customers' needs are the basics for turning customers into "Lifelong Advocates," but Hodak's lively examples, stories, and clear case studies bring the journey to life and make it compelling. I can see why she is such a success as a customer advocate and speaker!

Another "meh" book. A lot of it is listening to people, be nice to people, act as if you want their business. Maybe people need to be told this stuff. Which may explain why so many businesses are mediocre.

There are also a LOT of personal anecdotes, which grates if you don't see the world from the author's POV (for example, I don't give a damn about birthdays).

Super Fans is what we all need to create

As someone who considers themselves a culture architect, the fact that Brittany doesn’t leave out the importance of building super teams is amazing. Each interaction with a customer is a chance to cement that super fan mentality and it’s great when you empower your team to create those moments.

I was lucky enough to see Brittany speak at a conference last summer. The book goes into greater detail of her super plan and breaks it down into manageable steps. I’ve spent my whole life in the customer service industry, and she is able to pinpoint exactly what makes someone a super fan.
