Luana Ehrlich is a USA Today bestselling author, known for her award-winning Titus Ray Thrillers, Mylas Grey Mysteries, and Silas McKay Suspense. Her novels are clean reads with intriguing plots, fascinating characters, jaw-dropping twists, and occasional touches of humor and heart-warming romance.
Although she developed her passion for spy thrillers and mystery novels at an early age, she didn’t write her first novel until her husband retired from the ministry. Now, she writes from an undisclosed location, trying to avoid the torture of mundane housework, grocery shopping, and golf stories. However, she occasionally comes out of hiding to visit with her two grandsons or to enjoy a Starbucks caramel macchiato.
Luana and her husband, former missionaries to Costa Rica and Venezuela, are now residents of Norman, Oklahoma. Email her at author@luanaehrlich.com. She loves to hear from her readers!!
This was another very captivating book on both mystery and intrigue. The whole story was a hard to put down till you finished reading it. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
Three Days Clueless was a great story! I loved this continuation of the Mylas Grey series, his team of investigators, his family, and his relationship with Whitney. Things definitely get interesting as well as personal in this installment after he accepts to help his dad with an investigation he's doing. I really enjoyed them finding the clues and (eventually) solving the case, but what I've learned to appreciate more is the Christian/faith thread of the story. It's always so encouraging to learn of Mylas as a new believer and see him figure things out in his walk with the Lord.
The narrator was great as always, bringing all the characters to life and portraying all the different emotions mentioned in this book. What seemed a little off to me was all the pauses/sighs at the beginning of the story, but since that doesn't continue for the rest of the book, I was able to overlook it, and rather focus on and enjoy his narration. It's truly appreciated to be able to have the same narrator for the series.
Overall, a great addition to this Christian Mystery series with a dash of Romance. Perfect for fans of the author or this genre who want to give it a go. Can't wait to read the next one! ~ 5 stars
My Las goes home to be with his family (and his lady) for Thanksgiving. While there, he volunteers to help his PI father with a cold murder case. Through careful analysis, and a brilliant mind, they solve the case in 4days! Quick easy read. ENJOY!
When Mylas agrees to help his father investigate a murder that occurred five years ago, it sounds hopeless since there were no clues the police were able to find. And what about Whitney? Has she decided to return to her old boyfriend? You’ll have to read this story to find out.
Returning home for Thanksgiving to see his family and his girlfriend Whitney, Mylas also takes the time to assist his father with a murder case. I enjoyed reading this. The plot and characters were great.
I really love this series and the Christian view it presents. The characters are loyal, smart, and interesting. The suspense is very entertaining. I look forward to the next book in this series!
Mylas Grey goes to Columbia, MO over Thanksgiving to see his parents and his girlfriend Whitney. While there he assists his father, a private detective in solving a five-year old murder case. Who killed Representative Riley and why?
I found the audio book entertaining and well done. The narrator did an excellent job. This is the first Mylas Grey mystery I have read. It does not rely on the previous books.
I liked the characters and the story. The author provided a well-crafted plot. What I didn’t like was the cliff hanger. I really don’t like having to wait a year to wrap up the book. Since it isn’t a major story for this book, I can choose to wait or just forget that there is a cliff hanger.
Helping Dad Solve a Cold Case This is the third book in a series about a private investigator in Washington DC. Our main character's father is a private detective in their hometown of Columbus Missouri. While home for Thanksgiving, our hero helps his dad work on a cold murder case. The plot has plenty of twists. The reader learns of clues and information alongside the detectives. It is very interesting. It is quite the page-turner that I did not want to put down. As with all of this author's books, this is a clean book with no foul language, no sex, no gore, and little violence. This is a faith-filled, Christian story that involves levels of faith from a newly minted Christian, to life-long believers, to the pastor at church.
Although I have started to lose my enthusiasm for Mylas Grey and several other characters in this series, I am developing an interest in the continue path of his future and his relationship with Whitney. The story is still a five star adventure by Luana but my personal enthusiasm caused me to drop a star.
As mentioned above, the continued career and social relationship of Mylas keeps my interest alive for the series. I look forward to the fourth book in the series.
I really appreciate being able to enjoy reading stories that are clean without foul language and sexual endeavors. I think Luana does a wonderful job of developing the Christian growth of Mylas with good Biblical support for any reader.
When Mylas Grey comes home to Columbia, Missouri, for Thanksgiving week, he enjoys the opportunity to work on a challenging case with his father Kelvin, who is a private investigator. Kelvin has been hired to investigate the murder of state representative Scott Riley, a cold case that has remained unsolved for five years.
He has also been hoping to spend some significant time over Thanksgiving with Whitney Engel, the woman he thinks he might like to one day marry. Something seems to be bothering Whitney, but even with all his investigative skill he's a little slow picking up on this.
Mylas needs all the help he can get with both situations, and thanks to his newfound faith, we knows where to turn for assistance.
On holidays for Thanksgiving, Mylas returns home taking the opportunity to see family and develop his incipient relationship with Whitney. He can’t resist the request from his dad to help him with an unsolved ‘cold case’. I am a fan of Luana’s work. I have read every one of her two current series, Titus Ray and Mylas Gray and look forward to her next offerings. This one, the third in the ‘Mylas’ novels continues her high standard. Good mystery, warm comfortable characters and the exploration of everyday issues. Her insights into incipient christian faith are not an encumbrance to enjoying her writing.
I am writing a voluntary review for the audible copy of this book which I received free from the author. A cold case murder with no clues is a BIG challenge for Mylas as he works with his father to find the murderer. I was fascinated with how he worked to figure it out. His relationship with Whitney was another challenge within the story. Does he figure out what to do about her? You have to listen or read to find out. I especially like Mr. Twitchell's voice reading this book. He has just the right voice & intonation I like for a narrator.
……she left it hanging!!!!!!! Can u,believe that???? This was an excellent book just like the previous 2!!!!! I love the characters, the stories and the mysteries!!!!! My only regret is having to wit a year for the next one!!!!! I guess I just may have to starting the series w/Titus!!! But I guess I will just have to break down and give them a trial, a sacrifice I know but I can do it!!!!!
Mylas is visiting his folks and Whitney for Thanksgiving when his Dad explains he has been hired to find a killer. A State Senator was killed five years previously and left no clue at all, so it had become a cold case. Mylas said he would help him. This story was so exciting‼️Mylas was also disturbed about something about Whitney, just a feeling, you know the kind. This is sure a good series. I’m going on to Four Days Famous
A "must read" set for good clean mysteries and suspense.
I thoroughly enjoyed this set of stories along with the author's style of writing. The main character is unique as he works behind the scenes for politicians on Capitol Hill ,therefore, she has done a lot of research to make him so believable. His life is so full of intrigue it makes you wish for more.
Mylas goes to Columbia, MO, for personal and business reasons
Another good story by Luana Ehrlich . Mylas Grey goes to Columbia, MO over Thanksgiving to see his parents and his girlfriend Whitney. While there he assists his father, A private detective in solving an old murder case. Well written. Recommended reading.
I'm a Luana Ehrlich fan. Love her books. Great characters, fast paced and well researched. This book is no exception. I like that they are clean. No bad language. The mentions of faith are sincere. And if you're not a believer, they are not over powering. The Titus Ray thrillers are also well worth reading. I've read and enjoyed all her books!
I loved this story. Even Mylas' love life is a mystery. As Mylas and his father join to solve a five year old mystery. Mylas and Wendy try to move their relationship forward only Mylas is unsure if Wendy wants to continue their relationship. The narrator does an excellent job of moving the story along. It's amazing that it's the small things that are overlooked.
I enjoyed reading about Mylas helping his dad investigate a murder and all that entailed. I was concerned about Mylas and Whitney's relationship but liked how the story ended with hope. I enjoy reading Luana Ehrlich's books and always look forward to what comes next!
What a roller coaster ride from the beginning to the end! You will be wondering every page about what is happening! The answers are slow in coming or at least, it sure seemed like that. Yet there's plenty of action and mystery galore!! I want the next book Now!!!
I have been really loving the Mylas Grey mystery book series. The storylines are interesting, enjoyable and believable. I like the way the author has written them. I really like the main character and with each book you know more about him and those he loves most. I like that there is some spiritually in each book.
I began reading the author's Titus Ray series , and have enjoyed every work completely. Her Mylas Grey series continues her rich vein of exciting mysteries. I fully recommend this unputdownable book, which I read in one sitting
