Having narrowly pulled off a near-impossible mission on Sevlar a few months earlier, Peter, Mr. Winchester, and Zoltan are now busy deciding on what course of action to take next.
The limited information they receive on Xavier tells them what they fear most: that the size of Xavier’s army is increasing exponentially.
There are only two avenues that can give Peter and Zoltan’s team a fighting chance: One, recruit some weather gods to join forces with them. And two, find a way to thin out Xavier’s army.
Both of these options are, unfortunately, much easier said than done. And accomplishing them will require Peter and his team to come up with an ingenious plan. But this challenging dilemma will also involve a huge amount of risk…
P.J. Nichols is an author who really, really loves games. But not the kind you buy at stores. And not the kind you practice and practice and practice to get good at. He likes the games you think up and make by yourself.
No matter where he is, or what things are around him, P.J. will find a way to create a game. One where you race. Or one where you build. Or one where you think. Or maybe even one where you do all three.
Back when he was growing up with his three brothers in Canada, he was constantly making games. Neighborhood kids (and even some of their parents) would run over to join in. There was never a boring moment in or around the Nichols’ house.
P.J. is sure that his debut novel, Puzzled, will have you rushing to think up games for your friends, brothers, sisters, or parents to try!
Lovely easy read, I am 40....ehm something and wanted something to help me relax before bed. Surprisingly invested in these books. I love the puzzles and how the reader it's given a chance too solve them before the answer is revealed. About to start book 6. Story moves along quickly so will suit a young audience. I am pleasantly surprised with how much I have stayed engaged ... I need to know what the next puzzle will be.
I loved because it was mysterious and I would recommend it to people who like mystery books. I have now read all the books I really hope P.J Nichols makes more of these books
Great stuff for the under-12 age group. There are a few holes and inconsistencies in the plotline but let's keep in mind that the author has been writing these books without the professional editing services that big name writers get.
