One is hot. One is fluffy.
They look good together.

Oh my God. That Ah-juicyyyy. LMAO. I freaking love this. The conversation with them is so funny too. Like that "I've already devoured a man when I never thought I would. There's nothing I can't eat." LMAO. I was LOL so hard while I was reading this manhwa. So funny and the sexy scene. oh Lord. That Seme is big. Uhm. Yeah.

I enjoyed The Dangerous Convenience Store Vol. 1 but I think if there was more of a slow burn between Eui-joon and Gunwoo I would have loved it. Their first meeting and interactions were great, but I would have liked a build up rather that straight up banging.
I wanted more of a focus on Eui-joon and Gunwoo, and not that douche Eui-Joon was crushing on in the beginning. But we'll get that in future volumes so I can't wait to see their romance develop in the next volume.
Aso that scene was really cute!

it's been a while since a manhwa captured my attention from the start, i was immediately hooked!! i'm picky as hell with manhwa and it's so hard for me to find ones i end up loving, so to say i'm excited for the rest of this series is an understatment. i'm already fully invested in this couple 🥰
the volume had everything. great chemistry, interesting characters and storyline. the storyline is simplistic (so far) but it's enough to still keep my attention. it was also so funny, their interactions and the art had me cackling a few times. there was some pretty cute and swoony moments too. ngl gunwoo had me blushing immediately 😭 i just love how he's kinda of an asshole but a lovable one imo. i adore eui joon, he needs to be protected at all costs.
such a promising volume and i can't wait to read more. no complaints whatsoever!!!

General Comment: This is my favorite manhwa of all time. It is captivating and interesting, most of all entertaining to read that I cannot put my phone down when I started it. I blew through it in one sitting cuz I truly enjoyed the story and it made me feel things although this is more of a character-centered rather than plot-centered. Still, I enjoyed it. The characters are adorable and wholesome, they got great chemistry. I love how the author/artist portrayed their relationship and the development process between the two main characters. Truly, I got nothing to say rather than hands down chef's kisses!

I just got back into my bl manhwa reading era and had to reread this!!
I don’t think I will write reviews for each one but i have to say I love this so much.
I just love the dynamic between Eui and Bum (him with his big dick energy LAMO) they coudnt have been more different!
It so funny, spicy and wholesome at the same time and just can’t wait to dig my way through the rest of it again 🤭💓

3.5 stars! i’ve finally found a manhwa that has peaked my interests! i was really pleasantly surprised with this one. i’m kind of kicking myself as i’ve walked past this so many times at barnes and just now randomly decided to pick it up after months of spotting it in stores. i’m interested to see what comes from eui-joon and gun-woo’s relationship. the spice is there, the fluffiness is there, and now all i need is romance. i’m not buying gun-woo’s nonchalance for one second; he’s for sure a romantic!!

The Dangerous Convenience Store is a spicy, fun romance manhwa about a convenience store cashier (who also is a college student) and a grumpy mafia boss. They meet while the mafia boss goes to buy some alcohol and cigarettes. He gets super intrigued by this guy and while he is a man of few words, he finds himself asking him about his day and what's happening in his life.
I mean... I do love me a grumpy guy who basically hates everyone or like doesn't care about anyone else but the main character. Also Gunwoo is so hot and he has scars and the whole thing. I wanted to keep reading to see how these two's relationship will bloom and I wasn't disappointed.
While Gunwoo is annoyed by anything, on the other hand we have Eui-joon who is smiles and niceness and cuteness all around. He has a huge crush on this guy at his university but he's afraid he'll mess up their relationship if he confesses. But one day, soon after returning from summer holidays, he does tell him and... things don't go as planned.
The classmate SUCKS. You'll hate him immediately. But that plot helps move along the romantic relationship between Gunwoo and Eui-joon, especially when Gunwoo is there for him when he needs to vent and tell someone about what's going on with this guy. And when Eui-joon mentions that he just wants a guy who gives him good dick and is handsome as well, Gunwoo literally volunteers lmao. GET READY FOR SOME STEAMY, SPICY SCENES *oof*
I'm excited to see how this continues!!! I love both characters and I can't wait to know what's next between them <3

An absolutely hilarious romantic romp that doesn't fail to pull on the heartstrings either.
BL manhwa following a main character working part-time at a convenience store in a very shady neighbourhood, because he's gotta pay the bills. In comes a buff, incredibly intimidating man with little words to spare, whose scare-factor fits the shady neighbourhood's reputation. A delightfully funny yet heartwarming romance ensues, with plenty of angst and other shenanigans as well.
I loved the dynamic between Euijoon and Gunwoo; binged the manhwa because I couldn't help myself. Plays with the grumpy-sunshine dynamic immaculately. Euijoon's character arc about this one super shitty guy he starts off being in love with was very annoying to read, but I can't be too mad about it because in many ways, it helps develop the main relationship as well.
Overall, just a wonderfully tender and funny love story with plenty of steamy scenes to keep you company, if that's your jam.

I loved this! A cheery talks-too-much sweetheart of a cinnamon roll and a grumpy mafia boss older man who just happens to be his next door neighbor!
It's fast paced, and things are definitely kinda summarized and happen off page, but I really enjoy this. I hope we'll learn more about Gunwoo!

Eigentlich ein ziemlich 0815 Yakuza-BL :D mit den typischen Tropes und typisch koreanischer Zeichenweise.
Es passiert nicht super viel, in Band 1 gibt es noch nicht sonderlich viel Sex - dieser ist immerhin unzensiert, yay. Und ... joah. Er ist halt nett, er liest sich flott und es macht Spaß, wenn man auf das Thema unschuldiger Uke und frostiger Bara-Seme steht, der übrigens n Pferdedongel hat XD just saying.
Ist nichts tiefgründiges, sondern einfach ein guter BL-Zeitvertreib mit Yakuza-Thema.

I was not expecting to fall head over heels for this manhwa. I had a smile on my face the whole time I was reading it! I loved that Eui-Joon was such an utter disaster and still managed to pull Gunwoo 😂. I loved his awkwardness and his very self-aware inner monologue had me giggling to myself the whole time I was reading. I also loved that Gunwoo saw something he liked in Eui-Joon and just decided to go for it, even if it meant rethinking his sexuality! I loved these two so much and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next volume. Volume one is getting four and half stars!
