Nolan decides Cherry Pie is the girl for him. Unfortunately things don’t go as easy as they would have liked and they don’t see each other for five years.
They meet again and misunderstandings come to light and once again, Nolan wishes to bring Cherry Pie closer to his life but he finds himself chasing after her safety. A great book!

We are on book six of Savage Kings MC - South Carolina series by Lane Hart and D.B. West. This is a very different story. You get drama, misunderstands, action, love, heartbreak and other things. You get the past history of the couple along with the present. He is at a loss for some of the story and needs to find out what is going on. So he goes to find out. When he does this he has to figure it all out and decide if he wants more of a relationship. If he does the next question is does she? Very good story here.

Their writing is raw and wild, suspenseful and intense. Only great chapters are in order.

Amazing plot, well written, super engaging, intense, and with a touch of darkness.
The characters worked perfectly with each other and you could feel the love they shared.
Drama, violence, betrayal is very present in this book as well as love, desire, and loyalty.
This MC family has a place in my heart. I love them.
It was great to have news from the original chapter.
I loved it so much that I didn't want it to end. I wanted to keep reading non-stop.

So this is written a bit different than the rest of the books. This is more like in a two part series. So we get the past for Nolan and learn a lot about him as far as what he has done in the past. We also get a woman who he has chemistry with. Rita makes him work for it that is for sure. She is working hard and has no time for men. She is busy raising her brother due to their circumstances. Which you will find out. Everything is going good in the past then bam here is present time. Then some big dumb dumb hunts Nolan down to threaten him. However he has no idea what is going on. All the members are asking Nolan questions he has no answer for cause he is just that clueless. So what does he do? He goes to the source to find out what is going on. Well it does not go exactly how he had it planned. Then he realizes she is in trouble. No King is going to leave a women in a bad sitch you know. So him being the nice guy he is and takes a chance to help her. Is it worth it. Will they find out what really happened? Can he keep her protected from the danger? There were a few questions I have but they pertain to other characters. I was just hoping we got a little info on past characters as well. Other than that, it is a great addition to the series.

Nolan by Lane Hart and D.B. West a five-star read that just shines through. This is number six in the Savage Kings MC – South Carolina series and we get to finally get to know Nolan, he has always been one of the brothers, but as a previous nomad its difficult to feel fully part, and well it was nice to see the journey in this story. His and that of his Cherry Pie, and what journeys they face. I adore how Lane Hart and D.B. West manages to show characters who have depth, pasts and challenges and awful things that happen ever day, and how just because they were breakable events, doesn’t mean they always break you. It’s something shown through the whole series and just shows how strong you can be.

Nolan takes one look at Rita and is smitten. The tall blonde may not fit the typical definition of beauty, but she is his idea of perfection. She also can't be bought, making Nolan want her even more. After days of rejection, his persistence pays off and Rita actually agrees to spend time with him. As he gets to know the object of his lust, he finds out that she is so much more - hard working, caring and sweet. After her parents died, she took on the care of her much younger brother, working insane hours to keep a roof over their heads and food on the table. She is self-sacrificing and devoted to his well-being. The nomad Nolan finally feels like he has a home. When trouble finds them, however, Nolan will sacrifice his freedom to keep Rita safe. Unfortunately, she doesn't realize what he's done and just assumes that he tired of her and moved on, disappearing from her life like so many others before him. Nolan, not hearing from Rita, assumes she has just written him off as well. After being disowned by his family, abandonment by Rita is another blow that he's not sure he'll be able to recover from. His anger knows no bounds as he tries to forget the beautiful blonde.
Year later, confronted by a furious Harley-riding giant, Nolan is shocked to find out that Rita is claiming to be married to him. If she's lying about a marriage that never happened, she must be in a bad way. His love and loyalty for Rita overcome his anger at her for seeming to abandon him; he needs to make sure she's safe, even if she doesn't love him any more.
Nolan is loving and kind, until Rita is threatened. His inner protector comes to the forefront - he's willing to do anything to protect her, even let her go if he must. Not only will he put himself on the line once again to protect her, he'll open himself up to the found family he never knew he had. He's a great book boyfriend - protective, proud and strong without being an over the top alpha. Rita is as sweet as they come; she's always trying to see the best in others and is willing to do anything for her younger delinquent brother. Poor treatment by others has damaged her self-esteem, however. She expects the worst from those around her and tends to overlook bad and even criminal behavior, not believing in her own worth. I would have liked her character to be a bit stronger and more willing to stand up for herself.
The relationship between Nolan and Rita is at times amusing and at times intense. His devotion and loyalty to Rita is unparalleled and the chemistry between the pair is off the charts. Four stars for this MC romance.

Another great book in the Savage Kings SC Series! This is the story of Nolan and Rita. Nolan was a nomad who traveled from place to place to help out the Savage Kings wherever they were needed. He liked the freedom of being where he wanted whenever he wanted and not being tied down by a home, or family. He is traveling around with 2 of his friends, Hugo and Abel. Rita is a young woman working 2 jobs trying to make ends meet while she is raining her 16-year-old brother (Cory). She is a strong woman who will do whatever it takes to make sure her brother gets to go to college. When Nolan first meets Rita, he is taken by her – there is something about her that makes him not give up until she agrees to go out with him. Rita is dead set against going out with Nolan as he is in a biker gang and she doesn’t want to set the wrong example for her brother. After Nolan waits for her one night after her shift, he takes care of 2 would be burglars and its then that Rita decides to give him a chance. Nolan is the happiest he has ever been until the police show up at Rita’s apartment.
5 years later, and Nolan hasn’t forgotten about Rita. He is still pissed about the fact she never wrote or visited him in prison. Rita is heartbroken that Nolan just upped and left one morning without a word. Misunderstanding, deception, forgiveness, passion, drama, brotherhood and loyalty are just a few things you get while reading this story. You’re cheering on Nolan and Rita because of the path they had to take and your eyes are filling up with tears as the Savage Kings show what it means to be a part of the brotherhood. Great story with wonderful characters. I cannot wait for the next book to come out to see what happens with Abel and Cory. Often, I have referred to D.B. West and Lane Hart as a power couple, and trust me that it still holds true today. Nolan is the sixth installment to The Savage Kings MC, and while it can be read as a standalone MC romance, I suggest reading this Series in it's entirety and catch up with this fascinating MC Brotherhood.
This Nomad is ready to put down roots. Nolan is an ex-con, who went to prison for something he didn't do. Now, after falling for the hardworking Rita, aka Cherry Pie, he is about to be taken advantage of again.
Fast forward five years, and this beautiful soul is about to have his World upended again. Rita has been taking care of her younger and self centered, Brother, the only Family she has left, for years. While she is no stranger to hard work and dedication, meeting Nolan, is quite simply the only upside of her life right now. So where has he been? Was all his talk about setting down roots, just talk to get her in bed? She honestly thought he was better than that, but it is not the first time she's been let down. Living her busy / back breaking life for her selfish Brother and finding herself in a dangerous scenario, Rita drops Nolan's name, hoping it is enough. We got a decent book out of Nolan. It wasn't my favorite, and it did feel a bit rushed. However, it was good enough, checked the right boxes for entertainment purposes, and had some good suspense scenes. I would have liked a lot more out of it, but in the end, I was still entertained without much to gripe about story-wise. I liked the characters. The plot was interesting. It just felt...rushed.
Nolan met the love of his life, Rita, five years ago. She works herself to the bone to support her brother, but falling for Nolan was definitely the highlight of her life. Fast forward to the present. Nolan went to jail for covering for her brother; she never thanked him for that or said a word to him. Rita, meanwhile, is fighting to keep things under control at the strip club she serves at when a outlaw MC takes it over. The one person who pops in her head for help? Nolan. Even though she hasn't heard a peep from him in years, he's her go-to. But when he shows up after one of the bikers confronts him and his club, some explaining is going to need to be done. And the Savage Kings have to figure out have far to stick their necks out for a woman who abandoned their brother when he needed her the most.
Overall, it was enjoyable. I did wonder why Nolan didn't try to contact Rita himself after he was in jail or had his lawyer do it. Maybe he was mad that she never made it down to the jail? I don't know. I did wonder about that. But anyhow, still a good book. The "nomads" of the group could turn out to be really interesting. I liked all three guys so far. Nolan is a sweetheart, and Rita just this strong woman you have to love. I'm giving this one a solid four stars.

I received this book for Free to Give My True & Honest Review
Here we're meeting Nolan when he & his 2 best mates Abel & Hugo whom All 3 are Nomads, meaning that they're Not attached to Any particular Savage King MC, but they're helping out with the South Carolina MC, but they still love riding for hrs & it's when they come across this Strip Club in Cape Cartwright.
And oh wow wee seehow precistant Nolan Bishop is in trying to get the gorgeous tall legged strawberry blond waitress in the club Rita Collins, (whose has had the worse 6 yrs of her & her 16 yrs old brother Cory's lives)it takes when Nolan has decided to wait out back out until the end of her shift but then sees that ALL the staff including the owner when he comes across a couple of balaclava'd men looking as if they're there to rob, which he wasn't going to allow.
And that was a changing time for them & it's so, so HOT & it's during this time that they both deeply fall for each other, but then Nolan decides to take the blame for something Cory has done & he repays his & Rita by not telling the truth about where Nolan is or at least where he'd gone.
It's not until when a giant of a man looking for him 5 yrs later demanding him to give her a divorce & this changes their lives again ESPECIALLY for Rita as Nolan & the Savage Kings help her get out of Cape Cartwright, BUT CAN WE SEE IF THEIR PAST & FORGIVENESS KICK OUT THE HORRID TIME THAT RITA HAS BEEN GOING THROUGH THE LAST YR????

And oh wow wee seehow precistant Nolan Bishop is in trying to get the gorgeous tall legged strawberry blond waitress in the club Rita Collins, (whose has had the worse 6 yrs of her & her 16 yrs old brother Cory's lives)it takes when Nolan has decided to wait out back out until the end of her shift but then sees that ALL the staff including the owner when he comes across a couple of balaclava'd men looking as if they're there to rob, which he wasn't going to allow.
And that was a changing time for them & it's so, so HOT & it's during this time that they both deeply fall for each other, but then Nolan decides to take the blame for something Cory has done & he repays his & Rita by not telling the truth about where Nolan is or at least where he'd gone.

Hart and West have done it again! I truly love this series and the members of the MC, as well as the characters, places, and adventures Hart and West take when writing a book. Readers will love the way Nolan and Rita come together.

Rita is a strong, independent woman. Her parents died when she was nineteen; and that left her caring for her ten year old brother. Initially, she turns down Nolan, but after a few days gives into him. The chemistry, passion, and adoration is off the charts between these two. Life has a way of sneaking up on them, it happens in the most unpleasant way.
I recommend this book! Nolan is one of my favorite characters in this series now. He is the type of man that all woman want. Strong, protective, affectionate, and willing to due whatever it takes to be with the one he loves. Rita is his "cherry pie," and readers can feel how much she lives him and vice versa. Her days are spent at one job and her nights are spent trying to get as many tips as possible while avoiding unwanted advances from the male patrons of the club. When she attracts the attention of the handsome biker, Nolan, she assumes he is just like the other sleezy men after more from her than the drinks she brings them. Nolan eventually breaks down her barriers and they realize that the attraction is not just a one-night stand type of itch to scratch. This is an action packed, romantic and entertaining story. When Nolan walks into a strip club one night, he sees Rita and knows that he wants her. Rita isn't interested though, she has enough on her plate with working two jobs and raising her brother. Nolan goes to the club nightly, getting shot down again and again. Then one night she walks out and finds Nolan in the parking lot with two would be robbers knocked out. They go to her house, and Nolan never really leaves after that, until the police show up one morning and find the stash of things Rita's brother had stolen. Nolan didn't want Rita to go to jail, so he took the fall. He didn't see Rita again for five years, and it was only because a goon told Nolan to let Rita go. Nolan won't let the goon hurt Rita, so all h*ll breaks loose. And Rita has to decide if she wants Nolan, or a new life. Nolan is stubborn, funny, sweet and fierce. Rita is loyal, hardworking and determined. Together they make a very sweet couple. I loved Nolan and Rita's story. This is part of a series, but all can be read as a stand-alone. You'll want to read them all though, they're so interesting and romantic.

This is the 6th book in the Savage Kings MC - South Carolina Book Series. The story is about Rita and Nolan. Nolan is a nomad together with his friends, Hugo and Abel. Nolan is smitten with Rita. She works as a waitress and at a strip club as a second job to make ends meet. Nolan had a ‘ride or die’ personality and actually went to prison twice; both times he was innocent. At the time, Rita had no idea what happened and thought Nolan left her just like everyone else does. Rita is an amazing person who excels in spite of her circumstances. She works herself to death trying to provide for her and her bratty troublesome brother who doesn’t appreciate any of her sacrifices and actually makes things much harder on her unnecessarily. Poor Rita never seems to get a break; ever.. Nolan and Rita are separated for 5 years before they run into each other again. And because Rita told a member of another MC she was married to Nolan to get him off her tail, even though Nolan now has a target on his back one which he’ll gladly display to keep Rita safe. Nolan finally convinces Rita to give him a chance and things are going great and then they fall apart.

(Nolan & Rita): TRIGGERS: rape, kidnapping. Nolan is one of the nomads that patched fully into the SKMCSC. We get a bit of a back story on how Nolan meets Rita. She's working at a strip club as a waitress and he hits on her. She's not feeling his attempts but eventually they end up getting involved. Rita has had a rough upbringing, she is now the sole guardian for her teenage brother. While she works two jobs to keep them in an apartment with food, he gets in with a bad crowd. Nolan ends up covering for them one day and goes to prison. Five years later some guy busts into the MC's clubhouse looking for Nolan and demanding a divorce from Rita. So at first I'm like "Huh? Did I miss something?" Of course the big macho guys figure it out and they are on the move. I love this series and these men. While big scary brutes, they are extremely protective over women, not just the ones they're related to or in love with but women in general. They risk everything in order to save a woman from a bad situation. Rita is not in danger of being claimed by the brute that faced off with Nolan and she's not about that life. She just wants to do her job. The brute wants more. Can Nolan save her? You'll have to wait and see. Really great series.

They still get called Nomads even tho they patched in to Myrtle Beach 3years now thanks to Nolans probation terms. Because 5years ago while actually nomads Nolan fell head over heals in love with waitress at a strip club, Rita.
Rita played hard to get because of her size never thought someone like Nolan would like more & because of a younger brother at home to look after Rita didn't just want a quick hook up.
Nolan proved he wanted more and won her around. Dating for a couple of weeks all #ell breaks loose one morning when Rita at work, Cory the brother at school Ritas flat gets raided and Nolan gets arrested.
Fast forward 5years Ritas life is still groundhog day gone bad until by accident Nolan comes into her life again.
Must read if you've loved the other Savage Kings like I have. Can't wait to see when next book is out.

Working as a waitress at a strip club is not ideal the tips help keep them afloat. Nolan spots the tall and beautiful women and he wants her something bad. He will get her, that you can bet on. After weeks of cat and mouse Nolan get his chance. Without a doubt they are fire together. Nolan wants her with every fiber of his being. After an unfortunate run in with the law Nolan realizes he will never be able to make her his 9l’ Lady.
After release from prison the former Nomad has to stay put due to his parole. Their paths cross once again but this time will they make it out alive and finally be able to be with one another? Or is fate against them and they will once again be forced apart!

Nolan is one of three nomads in the Savage Kings currently based out of Myrtle Beach. Five years ago, for a few short weeks, he had it all. He had his club and the love he had been waiting all his life for, Rita. The rug is pulled out from under him when he goes to jail in order to protect Rita thinking she'd be waiting for him when he got out. But Rita never visits, never acknowledges his sacrifice and so when he gets out he moves on putting her behind him. Now suddenly, a rival gang member is demanding ,quite violently, that Nolan grant Rita a divorce. A divorce that isn't possible since they were never married! As much as Nolan would like to forget it all, deep down he knows that Rita would never tell such a lie unless she was in big trouble. Every fan knows that a Savage King will never ignore a woman in trouble, especially the woman he loves.

Complications abound for these two...
Nolan is the sixth book in the Savage Kings MC - South Carolina series and the story of Nolan Bishop and Rita Collins. This is a story that takes place both in the past and the present as these two have a complicated history and then an even more interesting present and there is a lot of miscommunication and assumptions between them which both lead to even more hurt and anger. But they do have a lot of sizzling chemistry.
This story was interesting and held my attention as it goes places I had not expected. I liked both Nolan and Rita, both individually and then also as a couple. I will not lie as a few times I wanted to knock their heads together because of their ability to jump to conclusions. But in the end things seem to work out.....or do they?

Nolan is a nomad in town to help out the Savage Kings MC. He is having to stay at the Myrtle Beach chapter because of probation terms, he pulled time in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Five years ago he fell for Rita a waitress trying to take care of her bratty brother. But fate has it he ends up in prison and Rita doesn't know what happened to him. Fast forward five years and they run into each other again, after learning that Rita told a rival gang member that she is married to Nolan alot of trouble ensues. The guy demands Nolan divorce Rita but how can he because they were never married...Nolan realizes that Rita must be in some kind of trouble to tell such a lie. Nolan still has those feelings for Rita...can things actually work for them this time? Will they survive the war that Rita unknowingly brought to the Savage Kings door? I really enjoyed them and love this series so far.

Nolan pursues Rita until she relents and agrees to date him. Rita is working two jobs trying to support herself and raise her younger brother. They fall into an easy relationship until one day when things go wrong and Nolan takes the fall for something he didn't do. Fast forward five years and there is a ton of resentment between them due to a lot of misunderstanding. When Rita gets into trouble with another MC, she uses Nolan's name to try to save herself and ends up wrapping him and the Savage Kings up in a war. Things get cleared up between them, Nolan jumps in to save her and they find their feelings haven't changed. Tons of steam and lots of action keep this book interesting until the end.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book. This is the 6th book of the Savage Kings MC - South Carolina series. Each book can be read as a standalone but who would want to miss out on all the hot bikers.
Nolan hasn't heard the name Rita in five years. Even if she hasn't left his thoughts and dreams. But why would some guy think he was her husband.
Rita didn't think Leroy would go as far as to track Nolan down. But she was desperate to find any way to keep him away from her.
As always loved this book and this series.
"Having someone worth losing is the one thing guaranteed to turn a man into an actual savage."
This sentence is a perfect description for all these Savage Kings....Talk about swoon!

Hell yes, Rita is worth saving & protecting from her current struggles, according to Nolan! When he realized how hard her life had been over the years, he saw her as more than a one-nighter. He even sacrificed spending 2 yrs of jail time for a crime he didn't commit in order to save her & her brother. Five years later, they reconnect after they learn what really happened on that fateful day. Their love for each other is still strong & growing. One more glitch on their radar to clear their path to a HEA.
A second chance novel worth reading. Thumbs up on a story-line that pulls you in & keeps you interested right up to the ending of a HEA.

I’ve been a big Savage Kings fan and this book is a great addition to this latest series!
I love that the former Nomads are getting their own stories! This really was a great read! Plenty of drama, suspense, action and steam to keep me turning the pages!
I loved Rita and Nolan! Cory…not so much! I still feel he got off too easily. There was something so earnest and likable about Rita and Nolan that I loved. Like they made each other whole.
I can’t wait to read the next book! The book description of Able’s book that was included at the end of this one has me itching to get my hands on it!!!

Nolan and Ritas story! It was fast paced and the characters are driven showing forth within the pages. Miss Hart and Miss West bring the heat and passion to this series. We get a better understanding of what makes Nolan tick and RIta is his reason. This is explosive with a plot that will have you questioning everything. If you have not found this series yet now is the time to catch up with all of these alphas and the women that they love. I highly recommend anything and everything that they have written.

Another amazing fantastic book added to the Savage King's collection.
As with all the other books this second chance romance is fast paced, intense with lots of action....and of course steaming sexual chemistry
