This collection of monologues has my short story "You Can't Do Anything Without Me," based on an abuser with whom I had a relationship. I wanted to write a piece from his point of view following the breakup, the crazy rantings, the manipulation to gain control and then the loss of control, which is paramount to an abuser. The title reflects the narcissism that is present in abusers of all kinds and is an actual statement that was made to me. Well, I showed him!
