Finding Nova
On the Bering Sea…a deadly catch…
Seasoned helicopter search and rescue United States Coast Guard pilot Commander Nova Michaels has been sent for her second tour to Air Station Kodiak located near Dutch Harbor and her home town of Unalaska, Alaska. NCIS is such a great series and this new addition doesn't disappoint, it's another 5*.
I remember my high school english teacher (a very long time ago) told us that our first paragraph should grab our reader, pull them into our paper. Zoe Dawson has done this in spades! The first chapter had such heart pounding intensity that I was sucked in. Anything else I had planned to do was blown out the window. I had to mute the Olympics because I couldn't put the book down. This book is a little different from the other books in the NCIS series. We don't have an NCIS agent involved as a main character. We see glimpses of a couple through the book. Love how previous characters are wound through the books. Our main characters are Logan, an Alaskan fisherman and Nova, a Coast Guard rescue helicopter pilot. Nova has always said she won't date a fisherman due to her fears surrounding her fisherman father's job. Logan, who was dealing with debilitating guilt over his father's death and burned by a cheating wife. Watching their love grow and their souls heal amidst the drama winding through the book was wonderful to participate in. This was a book that when I finished it I just wanted more. I wanted to spend more time with these characters. I highly recommend this book. I can't wait to read about Kelly and Jason.

I have loved this series and all the webs that are linked to each other.
This book is about Nova Michaels. She is the twin to Neve and both sisters are in the Coast Guard. The Michaels family has two older brothers (Thane and Tristan with Tristan in Amber's book) and the girls. Their dad is a fisherman out of Alaska. Nova is a helicopter pilot and is currently stationed in Kodiak, Alaska. While out on a mission, a fishing vessel is in distress and their helicopter is the closest to save them. While they are in route, Captain Logan is in route to help as well. The mission is finished and Nova heads back to shore with the survivors.
Nova has sworn off all guys who fish for a living, knowing what it did to watch her dad leave while he went out, she never wanted that. She closed herself off. Yet there is a draw to Logan that even Nova can't deny.
As with all the books there is some sort of suspense that will swirl around Nova that keeps the reader engaged until the end. The twists were perfectly executed and let's be honest, getting to see Nova being an alpha helicopter pilot is awesome. The love between her and Logan is hot and watching them discover that was essential to understanding why they have both pushed it away. Such a great read!

Oh wow, another great book from Zoe Dawson. This book grabbed my attention at the first line and kept it until the very end. A totally enthralling read, I found it difficult to put down. Nova is a Coastguard helicopter pilot in Alaska (and the twin sister of Neve, who’s story we had earlier on in the series), whilst Logan is the Captain of a fishing vessel regularly working in the Bering Sea. They both respond to a Mayday call from another fishing boat, and although most of the crew are saved before the boat sinks, sadly the captain drowns.
Without realising who the other is Nova and Logan meet in a bar a few days later, and both share an immediate attraction - Nova though has concerns as she has no desire to become involved with a fisherman ( her father owns his own boat, and she has grown up very aware of the dangers fishing in Alaska entails). They agree to spend some time getting to know each other, and their relationship grows much closer. Strange things are happening though, and it starts to appear that someone may be following them - and when Logan takes his boat to sea again things start to go badly wrong. Will he and his crew survive the coming storm? This book is full of suspense, and I thoroughly recommend it.

I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "FINDING NOVA"
Such an addicting riviting intense drama, intrigue, suspense, anger, grief, loss, murder, deceit, betrayal, secrets, lies, twist that have you turning the pages.
Commander Nova Michael's a pilot for US Coast Guard Search & Rescue she hates pulling fisherman out of the Bering Sea but it's her job she swears she'll never be with a fisherman, hates that her father fishes the Bering Sea.
Logan Buchanan along with his two brothers Declan & Callahan fish the Bearing Sea having a drink at the Battan Down Bar & Grill he meets Nova after he helped her with rescue earlier in the day.
Things start happening happening on Logan's boat he's alway sure everything is perfect before they go out but this sabatoge also Nova has been feeling like she's being stalked every since the rescue of the Monterrey things have been off.
I definitely recommend to get this amazing book so well worth the read you can't put it down until finished so much happens you can't miss getting this book such an addicting read it won't disappoint.

Once again Zoe has written a book that has twists and turns a plenty to keep you reading and like always when reading her books I once again missed out on sleep
Commander Nova Michael is a coast guard pilot who originates from Alaska and here she is stationed there yet again She knows it is part of her job rescuing the fisherman that fish the Bering Sea but that doesn't mean she has to like it after all her father is one of those fishermen that put there life in danger every day. Another is Logan Buchanan a fisherman who is almost obsessive about checking out that his boat is safe so that is why it is so surprising when Nova has to come to his aid But something isn't right was it sabotage to Logan's boat and why does Nova feel as though she is been watched What have these two stumbled into and has they work together to get to the bottom of it all can they help but fall in love Can they have a future You will have to read to see

Zoe writes with such passion. Her characters come off the pages. Nora is an amazing women. Strong, tough on herself, deep feelings and feelings of fear of losing ger father in the Bering Sea as a fisherman. .These feelings have tainted her relationships and fear of losing someone. She is a pilot for the Coast Guard in search and rescue.
Logan also gas baggage from losing his father when he saved Logan from going into the Bering sea off the fishing boat. Being the oldest, Logan watches out for his younger brothers and is captain of the Blarney. When The Coast Guard goes out to try and save the Monterrey and their crew, Logan’s boat also answers the call. They were not to save everyone.
Logan and Nova meet at a bar and sparks fly.
There is so much anger, hate , revenge from someone that is out to get even. Logan and his crew are in danger as is Nova. So much drama to put here. Must read. Enjoy.

If you have read previous stories in this series, Nova is Neve Michael’s twin sister who had her own story. The other main character is fishing vessel captain, Logan Buchanan. He and his brothers run a fishing vessel and meet Nova when she flies to help a boat in distress and Logan, who is nearby, also goes to help.
As is usual in this series, there is lots of suspense from the beginning to the end, filled with bad guys, good ones and of course , romance.
One of the things I enjoy most of this series is that the female main characters are strong individuals.

This book gets three stars because of the heroine - and I don’t mean that in a good way. I enjoyed all the other characters and even hold out hope that Logan’s brothers see their own HEAs. But once again, a Michaels sister left a bad taste in my mouth - I really didn’t like Neve’s character either. Nova was so very immature in her personal life. It made her character wholly unlikeable.
But of course, I’ll keep reading the series and hoping the next book is better.
