Will the fear of water be her undoing, or can a water witch overcome her past to save her soulmate? Hazel Hawk is desperate to obtain employment in a town reluctant to hire anyone from a family of reputed witches. A descendant of sixteen generations of magic wielders, Hazel controls water and transforms it to her own purposes. Only one problem, she's deathly terrified of water and someone might use this to their advantage. After Dennis Belanger discovers his ex-fiancee was trying to control his mind and manipulate his will, he vows never to get involved with another magical being. Dennis moves to Three Moon Falls to start over, and soon his garden center is thriving. But he's exhausted and half a year behind on his accounting. Out of options, he hires Hazel as his bookkeeper, despite her reputation as a witch. They've barely scratched the surface of their irresistible mutual attraction when an enemy with supernatural intrudes on their relationship. With lives in danger, paranormal skills must be used to defeat the foe bent on destroying Hazel, her family, and Three Moon Falls. When Dennis's life is threatened, Hazel must face the one element she's more afraid of than losing her soul mate: water. Can she overcome her fear or will they both die in battle?

Book 2 did NOT disappoint!! In fact, I'm hounding the author for book 3! When the Water Witch takes on a job at a greenhouse, she has to promise to keep her powers to herself and not stir up trouble. While readers are pretty sure those powers will come into play, we also know the water witch is afraid of the very water she can control. But can she control her hormones around the handsome boss who hired her? Someone keeps trying to drain her powers, however, and things come down to a great final showdown and facing her fears until she manages to gain control over her life and her powers.
Rcvd an advanced reader copy from Hidden Gems for giving my two cents. We met Hazel and her family in thr previous book fighting for their lives. Hazel plans to move on from that experience and decides she needs a job...outside her family business. She finally lucks out and has an interview. Dennis is new to town to start over after buying a plant nursery/landscaping business. He needs a fresh start after discovering his former fiance, who happened to be a witch, was meddling with his mind...nope! He has heard rumors about the Hawk family and is a bit prejudice about hiring one but one look at her he's a goner. Hazel can't believe this potential boss...the Nerve of the sexy guy but reluctantly Dennis hires her. He is in thr need of more staff and asks Hazel to help. A new guy comes in thr door and smtg about his gives Hazel thr heebie-jeebies but he is hired after all. Dennis is starting to realize Hazel isn't a bad witch but he still needs to keep his guard up. Strange things start to happen to and around Hazel like being exhausted and the feeling of being watched. She thought the threat of Keres was over...or was it? Great read!!
What a Intriguing and Compelling story this is. Its not a short read by any means so buckle up and be prepared for a story that will definitely be interesting to say the least. Hazel Hawk is the youngest in her family of four sisters, she dosnt want to just work at the shop, she wants to have a job and be independent. So she applied and got an interview at Get Growing Greenhouses knowing that recently it had been taken over by a new owner. Dennis Belanger brought the business to get away , his ex was a witch and a manipulative one at that. So when he met and Hired Hazel, his one wish to her after he had given her the job was that she not do any witchcraft in his shop.... easy? Well its not so easy when a hired hand is up to something evil. Twists and turns make this book one hell of a good read, so settle yourself in and get geared up for a great read!
Water Magic Review: Hazel and Dennis approach life from different angles. She is open to all possibilities while he is a disillusioned skeptic. Their worlds collide in hesitant mistrust and the need to be accepted. Hazel’s fear of water is expertly portrayed. As I almost drowned as a small child the descriptions of the impact of being afraid are accurate. The addition of Mathew to the story created suspicion in me so I kept on reading, I needed to find the truth. This book may be read as a sequel but can be equally read as a stand alone book. 4 1/2 stars out of five. I did not want the story to end.
Water Magic is the second book in the Three Moon Falls series and it did not disappoint. Hazel Hawk is the youngest of the Hawk sisters and is a water witch ready to experience life. Dennis Belanger is new to the town and has opened up a new garden center. He’s very skeptical about the magical community but is willing to give Hazel a chance. This story is full of twists, turns and adventures and I didn’t want it to end.
