The bad boys and girls of Winterland are back for the final battle, and this fight isn’t just between naughty and nice, but life and death. Dinah Liddell grew up plagued by nightmares of monsters and strange creatures only to discover they are all real. Winterland exists. Now, she’s being forced to return the Blood-Red Queen to her throne. This time there’s nothing Jessica Winters won’t do to destroy Winterland, warping the lines of reality for Dinah and robbing her of her sanity. With her sister, Alice, and the gang, Dinah has to fight against an opponent she never saw coming—her own mind. Rediscovering the brazen girl she once was, full of fire and passion, she will break every rule to save those she loves. But as usual in this mad, mad place, nothing is what it seems, and those she trusted will betray her. In freeing one beast, Dinah sacrifices another. A monster who will be used to help bring down Winterland once and for all. The whole Winterland gang is in a fight for their lives, and as the war between naughty and nice bleeds the ground red, they find there is more to Jessica’s plan than to take Winterland. When a beauty breaks, the beast will fall, and down will go Winterland…Santa and all. Alice in Wonderland meets Beauty and the Beast with a holiday twist! Don’t miss this final installation in this mad, twisted series. You poke the monster…you get the beast.

No matter what decisions I made, like cutting off Winterland from my reality, it still led me right back here. The beauty of death and destruction. The true beast.
5 Beastly stars!
Holy peppermint stick under the mistletoe! This was such a bittersweet ending to one of my absolute favorite series and the most unique series I've ever had the pleasure of reading. Stacey has a way of blending beloved Christmas characters and storylines together with the madness and unpredictability of Winterland in order to create this masterful world filled with killer candy canes, a vengeful Mrs. Claus, a very naked and hostile St. Nick, and the sexiest Scrooge and Jack Frost you've ever met. I loved that she still managed to surprise me with the new Christmastime characters she effortlessly added into the mix in this novel, while also blending together some familiar faces and themes from Beauty and the Beast. Her creativity is unmatched, and she always keeps me guessing.
BEAST IN HIS MADNESS starts off right where BEAUTY IN HER MADNESS left off--Jessica Winters is once again attempting to return to Winterland in order to destroy all of the Christmas creatures in revenge against Santa. This time Jessica has new weapons in her arsenal and will stop at nothing to accomplish her goal of seeing the Liddell sisters vanquished. Dinah discovers that she and Alice may not be so different after all, and she must join forces with Alice, Scrooge, and the rest of the gang in order to defeat Jessica for good. I LOVED seeing everyone from the first two books again as all of the old humor between Hare and Scrooge and all of the heat between Scrooge and Alice made my heart so happy. Frost was just as domineering and sexy in his own right as we can always count on Stacey to give us all of the alphahole steam!
This series will always hold a special place on my shelf as it's the one that introduced me to Stacey's novels and her sexy writing. I love this entire series and hope that the tiny open door Stacey leaves us with at the end will lead to future books in Winterland for a certain tortured soul ♡
My Jack Frost, the brooding and angsty half of the Miser brothers who is willing to accept the Beast for his Beauty...

As if things couldn't get any curiouser, we're dropped further down the rabbit hole in to crazy Christmas chaos! I'm not sure how Brown managed to pull off such a remarkable ending to the Winterland tales, but let me tell you, I need some of that cranberry colada.
Beast in His Madness doesn't disappoint with all the sexy, broody men, but puns for days. The epic battle to save Winterland is the fiercest challenge Dinah and Alice have every encountered. This was by far the best read out of them all! It had everything from half-naked Santa, shady sleigh rides, and the pumpkin king?!
This series is my new favorite read for the holidays. Never have I ever felt so comfortable with being completely bonkers. Five stars all around!
I am not ready for my time in Winterland to be over!
Beast in His Madness is the conclusion to the mad, fantastically sexy world that Stacey Marie Brown has created. She ties the story and characters up in one multi-colored bow highlighted by friendship, love, and a tale as old as time. But is it really over? I guess only time will tell....
“Shit on tinsel.” “You son of a nutcracker!” “Fuck a fucking nutcracker!” “Thank elf nuts we were out in the middle of nowhere,” “Holy peppermint stick. You broke her.” “Oh, fuck-a-strudel! My eyes! My eyes” Dinah's story is unpredictable with more twists and turns than a rollercoaster. Stacey Marie brown and how she builds her worlds up is truly crazy dark and sexy as all get out. Once again she has delivered This book was good and well written, SO MANY TWIST AND TURNS I NEVER IMAGINED.. I have to say Alice and Scrooge had me fall in love with this series and I don’t think anyone could win me over like they did in book one and two, But by the time I got half way through this book 3 I fell in love with this one as well. Omg I want a hot Jack Frost in my life .this last book 4 blew it all out of the water truly amazing read..
Review to come with a possible rate change once I get around to finishing it. Ugh. 4/22/22: I've decided not to finish this, which is too bad, as the first two books were awesome. At this point, I just don't care what happens to the MFC in this book. She is annoying, semi-stupid, and I hate the way the MMC keeps referring to her as 'little one'... so pervy. This book also had way too much sex, and not enough of everything else. I'm done. DNF.
I absolutely love this world Stacey Marie Brown has created! Winterland is sanity and insanity all at once, and that’s exactly the way they like it and want it to be. And this second book in Dinah and Frost’s story is no less passionate or brutal than any other others in the series. This story has it all...passion, hate, horror, love, family, friends, alcoholic mice, overeating polar bears, and a FILF (you’ll have to read it to find out what that means 😉).
Dinah is finally starting to break out of her perfect shell of order and lists, but she struggles to fully let herself go to the sanity of insanity. Her white hot passion with Frost helps pull her more and more into their world, and even when she seems to be getting everything she ever wanted in her real world, she recognizes the cracks in the glass that pull her back to Winterland. The story sucked me in, and didn’t let go. And the further we got, the more characters we got to see again from Alice’s story, including Alice and Scrooge, the better the story got. In the end, it really became more about Dinah and Alice and their power and “muchness”, but getting there was relentless and very brutal. There is no holding back in both battles and passions, and it’s all the better for it. We even get Halloween pulled into the story, which adds an even more fascinating and intriguing twist to the already fully engrossing world we’ve come to know.
The two epilogues put a nice bow on the stories, leaving just enough space open for the story to continue, especially for a couple specific characters. I hope we get to continue the story, because I do truly love this world, and would very much love to get another chance to go back and visit it!
I loved, loved, loved this book. First off I loved seeing my old favorites like Dee,Dum,Hare, and Pen. I also loved the newer characters (Dor,PB,and Chip), and I especially loved seeing Alice and Scrooge again. This book was everything I didn't know I needed. It was action, adventure, romance, intrigue, and comedy. Dinah and Frost were as steamy,if not steadier, as Alice and Scrooge, and I will say this, their love is just as epic. This story is hands down the best and most original retelling of Beauty and the Beast I've ever read.
I will however say this, there were some things left unfinished and I would love to revisit Winterland and Blaze/ Krumpus. This whole series not just this book is a 5 out of 5 Stars!
Well… that’s an ending. There were soooooo many different movies / stories mixed up into this series. It was a lot to keep up with that’s for sure. I did like Alice and Scrooge’s story more than Dinah and Frost. One of my biggest pet peeves will still be the authors calling Stripe by the wrong name. When he was first introduced, he was Stripe (which is his actual name), but after that he is called Spike. There were a few other inconsistencies I noticed that seemed to miss editing. I’m happy where Dinah and Frost’s story left off, but it seems like the author left it open ended for possibilities of more to come.
What a crazy ride this series was!! Good thing all the best people have a few screws loose. Loved my stay in Winterland with the characters who will never let me look at Christmas movies the same (idiot Clarice). Stacey Marie Brown never disappoints with any of her stories and now I find myself wanting a FILF of my own...lol. I’m going down a rabbit hole here (pun intended) but get this book! The steam is off the charts, the world building is genius and the book hangover is REAL! Great ending to a great series.
I had high hopes for this ending, and they were met! The beauty and the beast tale is interwoven so beautifully, bringing both Blaze and Frost into it. The characters join together for their final battle. I felt Dinah’s books much more plot-driven and less romance focused, so I feel as though there are less Frost/Dinah scenes than the first two had Alice/Scrooge scenes. Either way, the ones that were there are spicy. It was a great ending to a wonderful series, but I’d love more! Bring on a Blaze book.
Another one for the read and repeat pile! I absolutely loved the Winterland world and characters. Dinah and Frost have chemistry for the ages! Seriously, off the charts! That being said, please tell me there will be more! I need more Blaze and the Pumpkin King!!!
This series is officially one of my favorite. I loved this book, a mix between Beauty and the Beast , Alice in wonderland and Christmas Tales in a fantastic, funny and sexy story with enthralling characters and a wonderful writing ! I hope to return to this world soon for the story of one of the characters... Must read !
I love this series!!!! Dinah finally finds what she wants and who she is. Frost and Blaze find a truce but I hope there is more to come from Blaze. I think he’s just getting started. Such a great way to end it with a possibility of there being more.
SMB never fails to disappoint. I know, I know, I keep saying that, but it's so friggin true!! Frost might be cold, but he certainly knows how to turn up the heat and hoooo boy do I wish I had a male like that in my life.
This series just keeps getting better! I absolutely love it! I tried to take my time reading it wouldn’t end but I had to know what happened read it so fast! If you haven’t read this series please do!
Just AMAZING. All the characters we love from Christmas with a twist. I can’t look frost the same way again. This book has the right amount of love, action, comedy and of course lots and lots of steamy scenes. Really I loved it
Absolutely adored this book. Stacey knows how to twist a fairy tale into a sexy adventure. Loved how it ended and I suspect this world isn't completely over yet. Dinah and Frost are hot!!
A dark and sexy twist on the holidays and famous tales. Beast in his madness ties the series together perfectly with one final battle to save winterland. Of course there are twists and turns that makes Stacey s writing so addictive and always leaves you, as a reader, wanting mkre.
Here is when Alice sister comes to olay in Winterland but we knew this will happen. The only thing that's gets me why sisters do not talk to each other. Di is not my type of person but I loved the story!
Oh the ending actually left the tiniest possibility there maybe more of this story coming..... I loved this so much I'll probably reread every year in the lead up to Christmas.
I went into this book thinking it was going to be the last in the series and ended it thinking “there’s going to be another book, right?” RIGHT?!?! I NEED MORE!!!
Such a great ending to a great series! What a roller coaster of a wild crazy ride that I wasn’t ready to get off of. This author has become an auto buy author for me now.
