One Small Cloud

Rate this book
Authored and illustrated by Tracy Herrmann, with gorgeous, full page watercolor and mixed media art that complements simple text, One Small Cloud celebrates nature with an appreciative eye and heart, from the vantage point of clouds in their various moods, with a gentle message of global unity at the end. Ages two to six years for children, but also as an inspirational book for adults. The book wrote itself in many ways, and as the message explains--was inspired by a single cloud in a clear blue sky. What a wonderful world we live in. Thank you for enjoying, appreciating, One Small Cloud.

The watercolor and mixed media images in this book are gorgeous! The text is simple and sweet (no more than a sentence a page), complementing the glorious illustrations. The book celebrates clouds, nature, and spirituality, ending with a global unity message. This is a lovely book to help ground adults after a tough day and make children smile. I learned that snowflakes and fog are made from clouds.
