Cha Taein is a very handsome student and cheerleader in college, while Yoo Soohyuk is one of the campus’ most popular guys and is also in the soccer and music club. When Taein is chased by Lim Gurin, who he does not reciprocate feelings for — he ends up begging Soohyuk to fake date with him in order to chase Lim Gurin away. Somehow, just like the tale as old as time goes — pretense somehow starts to turn into reality. However, before a "happily ever after" there is the process of falling in love, and the slow realization that somehow they aren't pretending anymore. Somehow, they do not want to.

Currently on Chapter 2 and my life is a messed up happy place!

They are so fkg cute and hot. Their Korean names are sooooo.... Ahem. ✨🤗

And the original dialogues sound so much hotter here.

And it's just starting!

The artstyle is so darn heartbreaking good... Give me more I say.

The overall plot was good. The pace of the plot was just right in the beginning but around the ending it felt a little rushed. There were also multiple instances where the wishes of Taein were not respected. There was no consent in some chapters (he was forced to drink too). The communication gap/miscommunication arc drove me crazy because Soohyuk genuinely was portrayed as an asshole when he was not like that in the beginning.
So yeah, the manhwa is good but the last few chapters really let me down.
