This devotional really had a lot of great individual stories that helped you uncover what you needed to know on that day. Loving this down home like devotional and plan to read more like it in the future. Just an excellent book!

This is one of the best devotional books I’ve read. What makes it rate at the top? The Bible stories. They are told in a way that makes them seem so practical and applicable. The author links beautiful thoughts and prayers to the story used in the days devotional. This book deals with the everyday things in life; the things we all face as we go about our day. The author has a gentle way of writing and inspiring women to be all they can be in their God given vocation. As a bonus to an already beautiful book, there are mouthwatering, homespun recipes scattered throughout. I got the feeling that I was visiting with the author, while we both rocked on the porch swing of an old Victorian home. It really is the perfect devotional book.
