From The Flames
Split into four stories, within the same book, "From The Flames" follows a mysterious man who wakes up in hospital with his body covered in burns. With patchy memories of murdering people, he flees the hospital to avoid the police but, with hardly any memory left, he has no where to turn. As he roams the streets, his violent memories flash back until there is enough to piece together more of his home life and a path back to what he once knew before the burning... This book contains: Part One: The Man Without A Face. Part Two: The Man With No Home. Part Three: The Man With No Soul. Part Four: The Man With No Future.

MATT SHAW was born, quite by accident (his mother tripped, he shot out) September 30th 1980 in Winchester hospital where he was immediately placed on the baby ward and EBay. Some twelve years later (wandering the corridors of the hospital and playing with road kill when he was on day release), the listing closed and he remained unsold, he was booted out of the hospital to start his life as a writer and hobbit – beginning with writing screenplays and short stories for his own amusement before finally getting published when he was twenty-seven years and forty-five seconds old.
Once Published weekly in a lad's magazine with his photography work, Matt Shaw is also a published author and cartoonist. Has to be said, can be a bit of a flirt and definitely, without a shadow of a doubt, somewhat of a klutz.

A badly burned man wakes in the hospital with no memories. Unaware of who he is, and due to circumstances, he believes himself to be a murderer. On the run from the hospital and society, he commits acts of violence as he tries to find a way to familiarity. Twist upon twist occur, and there are many violent surprises that happen along the way. As things become clearer, they also become more complicated. A fast moving and suspenseful story that I hope will have a sequel.

Holy shit this was a twisted mind fuck of a revenge story. Fucking awesome Matt Shaw I really liked all the violence and the fire and ultimately the revenge.... Man the ending was so crazy. I really hope there is a sequel to this one. Damn highly recommend this one.

Violence and psychological turmoil made this book one I couldn't put down. When everything is explained you'll be rooting for the "bad guy".

Twisted!!!
This was such an interesting title. Just when I thought I knew where things were going, they weren't going that way. So, hats off the Shaw for that. The ending was surprising and left me wondering if there may be a sequel in the future or just a title that might connect to this one in some way.

Great read
This was a captivating,enticing read. From the very beginning you are pulled into a world of Matt Shaw and his imagination. The characters you can see and imagine fully as they evolve in the story. Which is full of twists and gore, revenge and empathy. A really good read and a must to any fan of this author. Definitely recommend.

The Village Meets Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Intriguing premise and oh…. Such fun to read. Like all Matt Shaw books, it is heavy on the blood, guts, and violence. The thing about this author though is that he is such a good storyteller. He weaves an engaging story about a man with no face or past. Is he a monster? He certainly looks like one on the outside. The twist to the story is quite good, and although the end has some plot holes, they are sort of easy to overlook because he is obviously planning a sequel. I look forward to reading the next chapter in the series.

Just when I thought I knew where this book was going.
This novella takes you through the mind of a man (Robb) that has lost everything, his family, his memory and his skin. Why his skin because he was burnt in a accident. What accident, he does not know. Was it an accident? Did he have a family? Why did no one visit him in the hospital? Memories keep playing in his head which will lead him to all these answers.

So good!
I could not put this book down! I had to know what was happening. As soon as you think you have a grasp on what's going on you find out you're wrong. Very well written, every page leaves you wanting to know more. Highly recommend!

Fantastic books with a lot of twists and turns that keep you guessing right up until the very end (and the very last twist at the end my my favourite!).
I always look forward to Matt's latest book coming out and he never disappoints.

This wasn't his best work. I started reading it the day it came out but I got bored with it pretty quickly. It took me awhile to finish it, but I'm glad I did. The ending was good. It started picking back up the last 25%.

Stranger without a name
This book was good it was suspenseful and kept you on your toes. Vigilante might have been a better title. I enjoyed it as well as all Matt Shaw books!
