I read this book to learn the features I had gained with Personal MS 365 and Copilot Pro. Although Reed has pitched the book for those in large organizations that use Work or School MS 365, much of the text was useful, explaining the capabilities of Office and its integration with its AI, Copilot.
Here's an organized list of items that caught my attention.
Word
Digital ink with mouse
Immersive Reader
MS Editor guidance
Researcher feature in Word
Translator
Excel
Office Scripts in Excel for web
Convert to Geo
Reputable sources like Wolfram Research
PowerPoint
Animating text and graphics
Video editing
Presenter Coach, incl. body language, frame in camera, etc.
OneDrive
Copilot works best when files are on OneDrive, not your personal PC
Show appears like file, but there’s a separate file option with desired rename, move, etc.
One Note
Notebook, multiple sections, with properties and tags, allowing multiple methods to find notes
Data encryption on PC
Helpful orientation book.
