After years of dealing with the Coven’s problems from one side of the world to the other, he’s happy to be back on home turf. While helping out with the interviews of Fortune Tellers for the opening night’s entertainment, he’s struck by the beauty and allure of one man in particular. Something about him speaks to Warrick’s soul. What Warrick doesn’t know is that this man will turn his life upside down, and he will be chasing him into the dark underbelly of Pittsburgh’s nightlife on the trail of a dangerous killer. This was book 16 in the
"Pittsburgh Vampires"
series. Dario Varga is a man on a mission he agreed to help a friend find out what happened to his brother so he comes to Pittsburgh to find out how he really died. Warrick Barrett has been called in from the field by Master Nikolas Hadden to handle security for the grand re-opening on the Imperial Club. After years of dealing with the Coven’s problems from one side of the world to the other, he’s happy to be back on home turf. When Master Nik decides to hire Fortune Tellers for the opening night’s entertainment he watches the interviews. Dario is one of the five people that come we he steps into the coven he knows that there is a lot of power in the building and that it will be hard to stay off the vampires radar. This was a really good read a a good addition to this series. Turns out Dario is not fully human he is an angel with a lot of power. They find out that an incubus sucking the life out of people and he wants Dario. This was a good read. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

Dario was perfect
Dario is possibly my favorite character from this author. I loved that he was confident, yet knew that he was no match for all of the vampires in the Imperial, so he tried to become forgettable. Luckily enough, for him, he was the beloved of a truly capable Warrick.

Dario Varga comes to Pittsburg seeking to find out the truth about a friend's brother's death. He doesn't expect to be sent to a coven of vampires for an interview for a job. Master Hadden wants to reopen the Imperial Club with a splash and looks to hire psychics and tarot and palm readers as part of a carnival like entertainment. Not that any of that is "real".
Except Dario is the real deal. He can't get away from the Hadden coven fast enough, but not before he's scented by his beloved.
Warrick Barren is a nearly two hundred year old assassin. He stalks his mate to a seedy nightclub, rescues him and brings him home. But an incubus has designs on his mate. And Warrick is gonna need his entire coven to keep him safe.
Good fun. A quick read. Enjoyable storyline written in Stretke's usual quirky manner.
Except Dario is the real deal. He can't get away from the Hadden coven fast enough, but not before he's scented by his beloved.

Good
I do not usually buy books by this author. They are too short and too rushed and not very filled out. The blurb on this book sounded good, so I bought it after reading the sample. This did have a very good storyline, but it was a little too rushed. The author went in depth on the sex scenes, but light on the story. I prefer books that are the opposite, heavy on story and lighter on sex. But as I said, it did have a good storyline. I don't understand why the author won't put more effort into filling out the stories properly.

Dario is in town undercover checking into the death of a friend's brother. He was working as a psychic when he comes to the attention of the Hadden coven when he reads and gives comfort to one of their own. It is apparent to the coven that Dario is a powerful being and they send Warrick out to find him. It turns out Dario is a descendant of an Angel plus Warrick's mate. There is danger and power of their bond. It is a good story and a worthy addition to the series.

I just loved this addition to the series. This is one of the author's who is an automatic purchase for me without even reading the blurb. I'm always very pleasantly surprised and this story was totally enthralling (plus erotic) which I found to be thoroughly enjoyable. The characters were well fleshed out and very intriguing. The writing was excellent and the villain was creative. Outstanding. :)

Streke always come up with such amazing stories. I have yet to be disappointed and I find myself always anticipating the next book. Like the May book was a little late coming out and I was all in his page asking when the May book would be available. So I decided to wait until the end of the month to start reading that way I wouldn’t loose my shit if it’s not out within the first two weeks of the month.

Loved it
I find that I love when a new book comes out you get so many new different characters with different personalities and I love how they are all unique and different. Some serious, some quirky, and some alpha males. I will say I like that he added a little fetish and I love that you got to see a kid bit more of Walker and his beloved

One of my favorite authors, I am always glad when I see a new book from him. This story and characters were great, Dario and Warrick make the perfect couple. Definitely recommend.

So so storyline with a predictable ending. The main character in this book was a little too immature to be investigating a murder and the hero too trusting.
