7 TALES TO BE REMEMBERED is the ultimate compilation of Seven Fiction Short Stories of mixed genres. The author has worked vigilantly on each character and tried to keep the story brief, yet everything is explained beautifully. You’ll get to read exquisite plots with soul-stirring dialogues that would leave you awestruck.
The author does acknowledge; most readers don’t have time to finish the entire novel in one go. That’s why he has created independent plots, which will make reading easy and appealing. Each narration leaves a message with an essence of thrill and few unanswered questions for you to find. You’ll witness - Betrayal, Revenge, Crime, Sci-fi, Love, Drama, Horror, Violence, and much more. Be prepared for a sensational roller-coaster ride with unexpected climaxes to unfold.
For someone who can't invest entire time in reading novels ,short stories provide a great way to maintain reading habit . And that's precisely the reason why one can see lots of such tales cropping up since a while also because people unfortunately have low attention span these days.
The book as the title suggests is a collection of seven intricately woven tales from different walks of life and some even from different time periods. They dwell light on various aspects of human emotions. The stories are written to the point and concise and all are independent of each other.
The most striking feature of the book is the author has tried to simplify the complex human emotions by presenting human psychology in a never heard before kinda way. The writing style is pretty unique and it compels us to reflect back . The book is certainly a short read with an alluring cover but it is successful upto an extent in presenting an idiosyncratic view of life.
Just completed Vishal Mehta & Cleverfox publishers’ presentation “7 tales to be remembered”. I’ll be very honest about the book, in my review. And the first thing I must say is I have mixed feelings about the book. The book, though not a masterpiece, is a good piece of literature. The author has worked beautifully with the dominant human emotions; like revenge, betrayal, love, hatred, and other thrilling topics like sci-fi and horror. It is not a long read as the author suggeste an it took me only 4 hours to complete the entire book. He is quite successful in presenting a precise and compilation of stories with independent plots. As a first-time author, I believe Vishal has done quite a brilliant job. The author has provided a tour of the human mind, with all its merits and faults. No doubt his psychology lessons are paying off. Each story has a differnt theme, plot, setting and characters. The stories are from different time period as well. If I don’t stop here, soon I’d be talking about the characters. Which should not take place. Any information more I give, it’ll be a spoiler. So, not sharing anything about the story. You better get a hard copy or Kindle copy and read! Since, I am not to give out any spoiler, let’s talk about other aspects. I’d like to specially point out the writing style. His writing style is a bit different and probably unique to himself; because I’ve never read anything with such style. I would also add, it would have been better if a little more research were put into the planning and plotting of some of the stories. Even though there are some errors, this piece of literature is far better than the crap which famous Indian English writers write. This book is a compilation of 7 stories as the name suggests. Some are extremely interesting, and lacked that factor! But overall it is quite a nice book. Among these 7, my favorite story was “Cursed Hero of the War”. I would suggest translation to other languages; for starters to Bengali. You’ll not find any ardent readers other than this community.
Finally, after a long time, I got to read an engaging book. These are not just seven random stories, but seven beautiful emotions that will surely be remembered by me. Of course, the writing style is bit unique, but it is a good one. As a first-time author, I believe he has done a brilliant job. My favorite stories were “Cursed Hero of the War” & “The Broke Father.” All the best to him for the future!!!
An intriguing read! A very good effort for a first time... really thought provoking and realistic tales and not just your regular stories... Author really provided an insight into the human mind, with all its merits and faults. Wakes you up to the ground realities of life. Really enjoyed it.
I just loved this book. A book full of ultimate emotions and flow of words. I would highly recommend this book to everyone. You should have this book in your collection.
It is really gonna fascinates you from the beginning to the end. I found all stories written in a egregiously manner. Believe me or not but you gotta give it a try. Loved it!
