Book 2 in The Savage Kings Series

Saint:
My mission was to find my nephew and bring him home safely. I'd gotten a promising lead that sent me into an ambush, a setup. Thank god I had backup. Getting out there and to a doctor was a blessing. I never said she was in a hospital. Stuck, I have to get better to finish the job. Will the doc kick me out or will she have mercy on my soul?

Kimora:
Bombarded in my home by my friend, a bleeding man, and a gun in my face doesn't make me feel hospitable at all. Sworn to save lives, letting him die would go against my oath. I don't want to know what he's involved in. Too much information would put me in harm's way. After he's better, he's got to go. He can keep his sins to himself because I have my own soul to save.

At the end of book one, Paula had arranged to sell Jnr, Dominic’s baby boy to Rafik and Yohan using the nanny to kidnap him from the house.
Saint and some of the brothers are trying desperately to locate the baby when Saint takes a bullet to the shoulder. His usual medical go to Tamera tells them she’s not able to perform the necessary surgery so she takes them to Kimora, who isn’t happy but reluctantly agrees to help.
Left on their own while Saint recovers, he and Kimora start to develop feelings for each other which they decide to take further. But eventually Saint is going to have to return to the hunt. But will he return to Kimora….
A thoroughly entertaining read with believable characters and an enjoyable plot. Although it works as a standalone its much better to begin with book one in the series. Loved it.

Wow I really enjoyed reading book 2 of the Savage series. Saint is injured and brought to Kimora, not knowing what to do besides healing him. She made sure he was getting all the attention and care that she could provide. She was also trying to keep her heart from breaking when he would eventually leave her. But Saint was feeling things too, just didn’t want to think about it until he could find his nephew. Then all things would fall into place.
The story was about these two who had come together and fell in love. There was twists and turns, passion, love, and sexual situations. This story is a page turner and I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to start book 3. I do love this series. ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

This Mafia story was intriguing. I read this one without reading any of the previous books on the series and enjoyed it. Saint is the muscle in the Savage Kings group. He gets a life threatening injury while trying to save his nephew that's been kidnapped and taken to Kimora by a mutual friend. Kimora is awesome . She has had some events in her life that have made her weary and she is taking time to reflect. That is until Saint is forced into her life. Saint is a big presence. He knows what he wants and takes it. Although he senses Kimora isn't ready for all that he has to give. Although this centers mostly around Saint's recovery and them getting to know one another, the Mafia isn't far from their minds. Saint's nephew is still missing after all.

Wow, couldn't put it down! Kimora and Saint are wonderful characters that are both flawed but can they make a go of it?
Saint is a sinner that upholds a justice for his family. He is shot while trying to find his nephew. Kimora is the doctor that saves him without knowing the conditions he arrived at her door. During his recovery a bond is formed but will it last? Jade is a great author and she brings the story to life that you'll not put it down. This is part of a series can be read alone but better if in order since the past characters will show up. It's good to have the back story.
A must read!

Kimora and Saint are likeable enough characters, that came with their share of baggage. There was a slow burn that picked up pace rather quickly once these two decided to go for it. There were some sweet moments and a few steamy moments.

Where I had some issues was with the story itself, there are some major plot holes that made no sense. Like the nephew and how his kidnapping came about. All of the subsequent pieces of the plot just didn’t fit together. Timeline issues, parental issues, a whole lot of issues at least for me to rate this story higher than a three star rating.

I liked the chemistry between SAINT & KIMORA even though it was clear that they had very little in common. Their chemistry & NEED for each other for the restoration of their hearts is what make readers support them as a couple, despite their longing for one another in the physical sense being rushed in the telling of a story.
I'm not for people getting sexually involved simply because they're attracted to one another IF THEY BARELY KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE OTHER.
That being said, I actually liked the story of SAINT & KIMORA & really LOVED the IDEA OF SAVAGE KINGS CRIME FAMILY, which is why I'd supported the series!

Enjoyed this relatively short read. Action from page one, and it didn't stop. Saint needs medical attention immediately and he's taken to a doctor's home. She's not expecting anything like this to ever happen to her, but she steps up and then a whirlwind attraction happens that really shouldn't. It took a strong person to put out there how they felt, and then a strong person to admit that they also needed that as well. A tattered heart, I loved that description. "My angel."

Another amazing book by author Jade Royal. The story had so much going on, there was action, danger, violence, suspense, enemies, survival, twist and turns, pain, kidnapping, frustration, manipulation, family, trauma, stubbornness, conflict, struggles!!, tribulations, healing, determination, lust, passion and maybe love. This book was definitely a page turner for me. .

Although the second book in a seven book series, this reads like a standalone and an be enjoyed by itself. Kimora, is a doctor and when a wounded Saint, a member of a mafia family, is brought to her, she attempts to get rid of him and his crew. But one of them threatens to kill her so she does her job and saves Saint's life. As she learns more about Saint, she discovers while he might not be a saint, he is much more complex than she expected. This book has sizzle, steam, action, drama, twists, and tons of action. I enjoyed this read.

I want to be a sinner for Saint…❤️

Wow! This book just jumps right in and grabs you. Love story involving bad boy Saint that ends up making you go awww. Hawt sexy scenes and a plot line that advances quickly will not let you put the book down. Gotta love a sinner that really is a Saint for the people he loves. Warning, there are some editing blips at the beginning, but not for long.

This book was enjoyable, telling the story about Saint and Kimora.A lot of push and pull between these two characters and you find yourself rooting for them throughout the book to get out of their heads and go for it!! Kimora has a tragedy from her past ,that scares her and makes her second guess herself about ever being in a relationship again. Saint is also not wanting to open up when it comes to relationships.

Ok so my last review I had some suspicions about Saint and I am So Relieved that they were not what I thought. This book was just as good as the first one. It gives me hope that my bad boy is still out there just waiting to fall head over heels in love with me. lol But seriously, this group of brother/friends seem like they are going to take me on a journey and I am all here for it. Next up is Turner’s story although I was expecting more of Abigail and Aaron.

Saint and Sinner

Saint is loyal and A killer. One day that could have been his last ended up being g a new beginning.
Kimora and Saint found each other in a life or death situation and ended up being a healing balm for each other. The chemistry between the two is off the charts. Looking forward to continuing the series.

This story was great. I have to go back and read the first in this series. Saint and Kimora were different, but the connection they had was remarkable.

This book was entertaining as a whole. I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Although Tamera had her feelings for Saint he backed off not being able to give her more.
He and Kimora meet under not so good circumstances that have a connection. She helps him after being shot and they grow close. Good read enjoyed it.

A chance meeting after a shooting while trying to save his nephew brings Kimora into Saints life. She can’t resist his manliness while nursing him back to health. They play doctor in more ways than one in this steamy read.

What do you do when you are forced into a situation. Well Kimora finds herself in a serious one, she does her job of a Dr. Saint was not ready for relationships before her. He falls and she follows. Great story of overcoming their past struggles and finding love.

The doctor is in

Kimora was in desperate need of a saint who wasn’t afraid to be a sinner when it counted. Saint was just what she needed. Saint didn’t know he needed the doc for more than literally saving his life, he needed her to restore his heart.
Great read
