In this letter Paul teaches mainly how to respect and honor one an other in the faith. He also speaks against idolitry and the love of money.
I highly recommend this book to all.

What a high standard pastors are held to by the Scriptures! And what a high standard their teaching is held to by those same Scriptures! Not that we aren't because those teaching apply directly to us. After all they are to direct those teachings at us. Truly, it would be impossible if you only look at the rules and miss the amazing love, mercy, grace, and power given to every believer. He loves us, and that is His glory that we seek when we obey His commands. Even more so that is the motivation for every pastor or ought to be. Paul's deep love for Timothy is so evident as he encourages him to always seek God's glory.
So read it and obey it for the glory of our Savior.

One of the pastoral epistles with an emphasis on church matters it is nevertheless of universal importance with strong emphasis on the divine origin of the Bible [which includes this book], salvation and eternal security as well as other important matters. Wonderful read and great in importance.
