3.5 Stars (safety spoilers)
Andrew isn't what I expected him to be, and while I disliked him in the previous books, I'm glad he was more possessive and loyal here (thankfully). Definitely my favorite book in the series.
Safety:
No cheating
Ow- he had previously intimately touched, in detail, the previous heroines of this series, but I'm glad he doesn't have feelings or want them, and it helped going into this knowing all this had already happened because I had low expectations 😅
Om- heroine's previous "bf" makes an appearance and causes some drama.
No virgins
Hero was a manho
Sharing- they do have an initiation where the heroines are intimately touched by other society members, but hero wouldn't let it happen, instead, they watched the MCs have sex. There is a doctor at the beginning that also examines her.

I absolutely love Dr. Andrew, Grigori is still my guy but Dr. Andrew wiggled his way into my heart. His patience and adoration with Chastity is beautiful. I love how they're relationship developed, how they both grew, and just they're every day interactions. Chastity is so unsure of everything, which is understandable considering everything she went through but Dr. Andrew is there to put her back together and he does an amazing job.

Dr. Andrew is just perfection!! I swear, I didn’t think it was possible, but I think I love him more than Grigori. (Sorry Grigori, you’ll always have my heart but you have to share it Dr. Andrew now)
I always got a “better than you vibe” from Andrew, and although he still holds onto that arrogance (especially in the beginning), watching his growth throughout the book surprised me in the best of ways. He was so much more than the Andrew we’ve previously seen, and it really shows in his level of care of when it comes to Chastity.
Chastity starts off so broken and watching Dr. Andrew help her reclaim herself was amazing. He is the perfect blend of calm, steady and understanding, yet at the same time knows when and how to push Chastity beyond her fears and comfort levels. His level of control and the way he anchors Chastity in the darkest of moments is both beautiful and incredibly erotic!!!
Beautifully written with the perfect amount of heat aka I like it really hot 🔥 🔥 🔥

This series just gets better and better with every book!
I cannot gush enough about how awesome this book is. I LOVED IT SO FREAKING MUCH! the author describes this story as a slow burn, but I didn’t feel that way at all. I found the story incredibly intimate and engaging. I loved both the hero and heroine here — and even the side characters. This book had heart, and I felt every moment. The author did a fantastic job!

Vivian Murdoch is a word smith, she pulls you right in and keeps you in her world. This is an excellent book. This book will pull at your heartstrings, make your heart race and put a smile on your face. I can't wait to see what she has in store for us next. 🔥🔥🔥

Psychiatrist's Puppet is the third book in the series Loftry University Playthings. I love Vivian Murdoch's writing style. She holds nothing back and will keep you enthralled till the end of the book. I really enjoy this type of book all hot and spicy with a pinch of darkness. There is a hot alpha that dominates the new patient. If you have any triggers I advise you to read this at your own risk. Both of these characters are beautifully written. I loved the push and pull both Chasity and Dr. Rayne instantly felt for each other. I could feel the fear that Chasity felt from her trauma and her growing attraction for DR. Andrew Rayne. Plus the doctor fighting his head to stay on the path and his heart wanting to forgo his plans. This is the first book I have read out of the series but I am so going back to read the first two and can't wait for a certain book to come out that is connected to another series by TL Hodel. I love how the books are all interconnected but can be read as a standalone. This is my favorite quote from the good doctor:
"Doing good doesn't make me a good person. It's better to know what you are and embrace it instead of living in the quagmire of self-doubt."
I am trying not to give any spoilers away so I am trying to be as vague as possible but still say YOU GOTTA READ BOOKS BY THIS AUTHOR!!! The worlds she creates are very imaginative and will take you down dark hidden paths that will excite and intrigue you. Okay, so one thing I am going to say is Sergei that is all. Well, that I love that he is Russian and written in Russian English. In my mind, he sounded like a dark and dangerous man with his accent all up in my imagination. Gave me butterflies in the tummy. The backstory for Chasity in this book is heartbreaking and will leave you wanting to just go and hug Chasity and never let her go. I couldn't imagine what she went thru but what Andrew does for her will melt your heart. The plot of the story was amazing and I could tell a lot of research and scientific experiments;) went into writing this book.

Vivian Murdoch brings you another slow burn perfectly dark read. It can be read as a standalone.
A broken girl beyond comprehension and Dr Andrew! (A psychiatrist with a difference) I’ve never been a massive fan of him but I’m slowly changing my mind. He has redeemed himself to a degree!
The story is well written and brings out different emotions.
It involves talk of trauma and mental health issues.
There’s really not a lot I can say without fully going into the story which would ruin it.
Overall this is a great read for all dark romance lover’s and I would definitely recommend. Just maybe have some tissues ready and sit back to see how this plays out.
Some parts are hard to read but this is a dark romance so be sure to read any trigger warnings first.
It’s a fairly short read so was able to get through in one sitting. Which to be honest you would want to anyway, once you’ve started reading you won’t want to put it down.

Let me just start by saying Dr. Andrew is everything in a book boyfriend I never knew I needed. He is calm and steady in his dominance. His possessiveness is perfect. I can’t get enough of him, and loved the growth he went through. I cant believe I’m saying this, but I may like him just a smidge more than Grigori.
Chastity broke my heart. She is shattered and feels broken beyond repair. Thankfully there’s a doctor around 😉. She doesn’t know who to trust, who she can turn to, or how to get back to who she was before. Don’t mistake her for weak though. She is anything but.
I loved the story in this book - there are some really hot scenes, and some situations that make your heart skip a beat. This can be read as a standalone, and it is beautifully written, you’ll feel every emotion.

We all could use a Dr. Andrew
I hated him in the previous books. Arrogant, snob, jerk, too many more names to mention. But I can totally appreciate the way he handles Chastity and her horrible situation. Get the kleenex, you will need it for both of them! Vivian gets in your head and puts you in situations you never wanted to be in. Great read with a happy ending. You get all the feels and things end as they should. Can’t wait for the next!!!

I jumped into this book not realizing that it was the middle of a series so the beginning of the book was a little confusing to me. Having read this one I really want to go back and read the other 2 to better understand the dynamics.
But once Jane/Chastity woke up from the drug-induced coma then I was on board and understood everything I needed to.
Andrew is the Psychiatrist of the society, or whatever they call themselves. He really gets off on mind F**king people. I don't blame him. It's fun to watch him do it.
Chastity is somehow in the care of one of the society members, Andrew convinces them to release her to him so he can fix her. HAHAHAHAHAHA. She's been sex trafficked for years, she's broken. But still, she's pretty amazing.
This book is DARK. And at times shocking. I had so many Oh No he DIDNT! moments. I was thoroughly entertained.

I have not yet read the first two books in this series, but I will be. Dr. Andrew is a psychiatrist and plays the part of an alpha who plays with your mind to get what he wants perfectly. Chasity/Jane Doe catches his eye and he refuses to let her go. But she has suffered a dark trauma that he feels only he can help her overcome. This book is well written and will keep you wondering how it may end, but it also has some dark triggers so if you choose to read go into it with caution.

I’m gonna refrain from rating this book. Bc this isn’t a love story, its a dark, bdsm, erotica. Yk it’s fantasy and it doesn’t have to be ethical or wtv. I’m just not ovulating… and I am traumatized. I’ve never felt so much deep resentment for a male character lmfao. Soooooo much.. like this the type of stress and resentment that if chronic, will kill you. The entitlement to her, her body, her mind, her submission and trust….. i can’t. I HATE men who do this shi atp. And every time he asks her “Have I harmed you?” in order to gaslight and make her to question her fear towards him makes me rage. Because she said it herself, he forces her to do things without her consent. Fuck her words as long as her coochie wet right? As long as discharge is coming through right? Then she likes it and wants more 👍🏾. Then he treats her like a child and then a woman. I am sorry. He’s just as bad the sex traffickers, she’s just sexually attracted to him and he wants to own her.
Yeah so I am giving up on reading the rest bc my blood pressure continues to which levels that rival the diameter of the universe. And with Chasity submitting to him, begging him bc for some reason she doesn’t hold enough self-respect to resist him, despite her not liking things he makes her do is… its just senseless to read further.
I just saw a love confession near the end of the book 🤡. Lemme found out I “love” a man that forces water up my ass and forces me to hold it or nuts in a shot glass, gives it to me, and smirks as I take the cum that is beginning to crustify down my throat. God forbid. Ashalalaladooba. I REBUKE.
