3.5 Stars! Intrigued enough by the short story to add book 1 into my TBR.

Meh. Not the greatest
I know this is just a very short story/novella but it was basically just a porn book with no plot. I was a outlet disappointed. I actually really like this series outside of all the ridiculousness. The last book, Demon Disgrace, Hannah’s story, was so so good. I was bawling the whole book. But this was just not up to the same level at all.
I’m still super invested in the whole story line but think I’ll stick to the full books.

Awesome
I can’t get enough of these books! Love the fey and love the world MJ Haag has created as she has furthered this series. The romance was cute and the sexy scenes were seriously hot.
I am really looking forward to the next installment!
I’m also really hoping for more of the books in audio which is another reason I bought this via amazon, as well as wanting to support one of my fave authors.

I read this on the author’s FaceBook page with weekly chapter posts. A new reader would need to start with book 1, or might be lost with the world building. This is an independent novella book in the series, and each book (besides 1-3) have individual main characters that get their own HEA. I loved this sweet story & the HEA for the couple. It was a simple story with not much drama to it. But a nice quick read for an easy day.

4 stars — Brooke was super thirsty!! I mean, it’s good that she’s not afraid of her own desires, but holy wow.
There were plenty of moments where I was hesitant about Brooke’s actions, especially given Solin’s cryptic responses, and the appearance of the situation with Sophia. But then Brooke would get a conscience, and back off, and…I don’t know. I guess I felt that while sometimes her actions made me uncomfortable, in general, especially in *this* world, I was okay with it. And holy wow did it work out in the end.
Solin was strangely quiet and cryptic…but I enjoyed seeing the bits where his eyes were opening to the possibility in front of him.
And WOW. The chemistry, even before the confusion was resolved, was seriously hot. The steamy scenes? NICE.
I guess I just really enjoyed this different, lighter look at the world, and especially the differences between Tolerance and Tenacity.

It doesn't even matter that this one is more of a novella size story because I was invested from the first moment of the story. It's crazy how easy it is to fall for these fey. Their innocence is captivating, and their naïveté makes them adorable. The stories of how these women find them, or vice versa, are charming no matter which one he might be. Brooke and Solin's story is no different.
I'm just so glad the author shares these characters as she meets them because she's written such an exciting apocalyptic world, and it's sweet to find a little love within the darkness. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Eeek! I love that the author did this little short story along with the second one. It was really a treat to get a peek into this world I have come to love. Demon Design was an amazing quick read. I mean, Brooke is who I would be in this new world. While others shy away from the fey out of fear, she is searching for one of her own. The problem is, the one she has her sights set on may already be taken! This short story brings humor and heat to the world while also giving us a short break from the overall fear and anxiety in the other stories. I really loved getting to see the fey in a new light here. 5 shining stars from me!

Art class anyone?
I really loved this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable with steam and sweetness. Sophia was great with her support for both Solin and Brooke. The connection between Solin and Brooke was sweet and sexy. I definitely recommend reading this book. I will be reading it again soon!

Enjoyed
Man I so very much enjoyed this very very very short book! Ms Haag you could have added soo many more pages. Seriously though this was just to funny. Brooke is adorably funny about she went about things, and I can so get on board with the art aspect.

Brilliant
I loved this book so much I couldn't put it down, I read it in just over 2 hours. Its great to see Brooke go above and beyond to pursue a fae. A different take on the series loved it !!

Yes!!! I LOVE the Resurrection Chronicles and while Demon Design was more of a novella (the author even notes that it's a short story centered more on the characters and less on the world building), I was glad to finally have a story from the viewpoint of someone who wasn't afraid of their attraction to the Fae, or wasn't simply trying to use them. Can't wait for the next one!

Love it!
Every new book is my favorite. I know she said she about done with the series but I hope she changes her mind. We have hundreds of Fye to hear about! Keep writing and I’ll keep reading!

I'm laughing right now because WTF did I just read?!!
Very short, quick read and the only reason I gave it 4 stars was because it didn't add to the overall plot.
This book was simply to plug a hole (haha) until the next full length (LoL) book was released.
Still better than book 8 and 7!

Loved it! The author, MJ Haag decided to supply readers with novellas to bide time while waiting for the next Rez book to finalize completion and pad the audio book production fund. So we get Brooke, a starving, talented artist that has a thing for a fey and decides to go for it. I loved seeing Solin being sought out for once. It's steamy hot 🔥
