Billionaires Lonely Hearts Club #2

Star Dust and The Billionaire

Rate this book
It’ll take more than star dust and Hollywood magic to get this couple to happily ever after…

All Cassie needs for her upcoming billionaire romance novel is some juicy information about how the other half lives. She’d have it, too. If only an entirely-too-handsome jerk hadn’t gotten in her way and complicated everything…

Stirling is a man who always gets what he wants—and he wants Cassie. One look at her and he knew she was meant for him. Convincing her of that, though, is another matter entirely…

With Stirling’s connections (and a strategic fake relationship), Cassie is poised to take her book to the big screen. But can she hold on to her identity—and her shot at true love with Stirling—under the harsh glare of Hollywood’s bright lights?

Edith MacKenzie or Eddie Mac to her friends is an Australian author of sweet and wholesome contemporary cowboy romance. They say in literary circles to write what you know and Eddie has certainly taken that to heart. Before embarking on a writing career she trained horses professionally and brings that wealth of knowledge to her writing.

Now a mum to a boy and girl, as well as wife, she delights with her tales of strong cowgirls and rugged cowboys and their adventures in finding love. When not weaving the love stories of her characters, she enjoys hanging out with her family and animals, as well as reading, fishing and camping

Just remember once a cowgirl, always a cowgirl

Star Dust and the Billionaire ~ Billionaire Lonely Hearts Club bk 2 by Edith Mackenzie.

Wow,Edith has done it again another fabulous romance with Star Dust and the Billionaire.

We have of course Stirling Saint-Claire the English Billionaire, and now we have the feisty American author Casandra Pearson.

Cassie meets Stirling at the club in her little red dress and seems so out of place, but she has caught the attention of Stirling.

Can Stirling help her with the research she needs for her next book?

It goes without saying what a fabulous well written book this is.The way Edith writes her stories she draws the reader into the story too from the very beginning until the end.

Star Dust and the Billionaire is so good it could be my favourite of the series.Thank you, Edith, for another fantastic book. I strongly recommend this. 5*+

Romance writer Cassie talks her way into a social event hoping to get info for her new romance book about a billionaire. There she meet obnoxious billionaire Stirling. He is attracted to her but she thinks he is a pompous ass. When he offers to be her pretend boyfriend so she can see how billionaires live she warily goes along with it. There is one small problem. She is attracted to him too. Sweet romance

This is my favorite Edith Mackenzie book...so far! They just keep getting better. The chemistry between Stirling and Cassie is sizzling, yet feels real. I also enjoyed the lesser characters, like Stirling's assistant, Angie, and the various Hollywood stars and shop owners.

Loved reading how cassie feels as she discovers what it is like to live like a billionaire. It's fun to watch as Stirling finds his match and falls for Cassie. In turn Cassie learns to accept his love. I found it interesting to see the way an author might research her subject.

great story - and on page sex was not necessary

So happy to finally find an author that can tell a love story without having to resort to explicit sex scenes. Totally enjoyed the characters and will read more by this author,
