I just loved Chains!
He is so amazing and I want him!
Love at first sight for Chains and Jasmine. They are just so cute and in love.
The ending had me sitting on the edge of my seat and say holy shit.
I can't wait to read the next book.

Nico “Chains” Trinidad is a brother in the RBMC and has special “abilities”. He holds himself away from most people since touching them allows him to “see” into their minds which is invasive to both him and the other person, as well as being emotionally overwhelming. Nico meets Jasmine at a club party and as soon as they meet the attraction between them is 🔥🔥🔥, but he doesn’t know she’s the sister of Angel, one of his MC brothers. The story takes place over several years as Nico and Jasmine slowly find their way to a place where they could work at having a viable relationship. Kept apart by Jaz’s brother’s disapproval of their relationship and the physical and emotional trauma she sustained. Jasmine feels broken and dirty after her ordeal and is afraid that if Nico touches her, he’ll see everything and it would kill him.
What a fabulous continuation of my favorite series! I found the story super original and the world building fantastic. I loved the imagining the concept of having a loved one that you could not touch and what that would look like and how that would feel. There was tons of action, some twists and turns, and a little suspense centering around the “why” of the reappearance from someone in Nico's past. Kristine's stories have a way of sinking their fingers into you and not letting go and Chains is no exception. I do feel like Nico and Jasmine had to complete this entire, difficult journey so they both could become what the other one needed ❤️.
Chains is the 4th book in Kristine Allen’s RBMC: Ankeny, IA chapter series. Chains can be read as a standalone, but best read in order with the others in the series. This series is my favorite in the RBMC world and has supernatural/paranormal elements to all the stories. You will not be disappointed when starting with Voodoo. Can’t wait for Ghost’s book!

Every time I think this series can’t get better, it does! I never want to give away spoilers to a fabulous book, so I’m just going to howl my joy that Chains and Jasmine finally got their love story.
There was a lot of pain in getting here, but man what a ride. This had some twists that I loved to the moon and back. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Oh, Chains, you have stolen my heart! This book was everything I was hoping for and more. I loved the paranormal aspects without it being a full fantasy romance. Ends with a HEA and an epilogue and even a bonus epilogue!!! 🎉

Phenomenal read. I'm just in awe at how this book turned out. It'll take you by surprise. The revelations that are dropped are jaw dropping. I wasn't expecting this to go how it went. The twists and turns didn't disappoint. Nico and Jasmine will steal you away. Be prepared for anything, expect anything and hang on tight. This is a must read, one you don't want to miss reading.

I loved this book and proceeded to finish it in one sitting. This book will grab you keeping you reading till the end and then you are wanting more. It has interesting characters that you will fall in love with and you want to know more about and moves along at a pace which suits the pace of the story. This book has to be read.

This book was filled with so much emotion and angst. At some points I didn't know who I wanted to yell at to get their sh*t together. Nico and Jasmine both had been through too much and had way too many obstacles in their way over the years. They needed to catch a break and get their HEA. It seemed like nothing ever worked in their favor with all the odds always against them. They were two hearts destined to be one. They were each others soul mate, but needed the time to piece one another back together. I highly recommend this book and love always seeing the other characters that show up in the story!

I keep falling in love with this series. Chains in such a complex character that after reading his story, you fall in love with him. This book is explosive and addicting ( like the rest of the series). Can not wait to see more from this world.

This book was so good. It had a bit of everything. A little bit of paranormal with a lot of surprises. Kept me turning the pages wondering what was going to happen next.
Jasmine is the younger sister to one of the members but she didn't hang around the club when she was just becoming an adult. She did sneak in once with a friend. That's when she met Chains at I think it was his patch party.
Chains or Nico... same person. Never met his father and had few memories of his mother. Mostly just the one where she abandoned him.
On to the next book in this series and same author.... wondering what she has in store for the next one.

I always read the Blurb and with this particular book I wish I hadn’t because I kept wondering when I was going to see what Chains tells us.
This is a story that is told in parts which is good for those of you that are very particular about your stopping points.
Chains’ senses are a little more heightened than most people. He’s one of those people that has to be careful about connections with people. Jasmine wants to be treated as a woman and not someone’s sister. She’s learned the hard way about women in the MC lifestyle. Theirs is a story that you could read as a standalone but as you meet some of the other characters, you may come to see that getting to know the club from the beginning may be a good idea.
Our author puts an interesting spin on what you will assume is a normal group of men that belong to a chapter of the RBMC. It holds your attention because you want to see how this group of people handle things. She also knows how to create a connection between two people that have things working against them. If you like hot reads then make sure to have your air conditioning or fan going.
It was very easy for me to sit back, relax, and let Ms. Allen tell me a story. Her’s is a job that I would never attempt at so this is a way for me to enjoy the fruits of her labor. First, after all that she gives me the perfect ending for our main characters. Then, she gives me the perfect bonus – air condition and fans must be on to the very end. But please make sure to read her Acknowledgements – it's a little bittersweet but it also comes from the heart.

His first night as a prospect could have gotten him killed and didn't’ set a great example of the man he is. He was drawn to the unforbidden and neither one of them realized the consequences of their actions. Nico “Chains” Trinidad served his country and returned to the RBMC to prospect. His first night back he almost ruined his future, but in his defense, he had no idea who the beauty was that he took to his room.
She should not have been at the party, and if her brother saw her he would make sure she stayed away from his brothers. Jasmine was off limits to the RBMC brothers since she was the little sister of a patched member, Angel. Their childhood was murky at best, but when her life was in danger, Angel and the RBMC took her in and made sure that she would be safe. Until danger hit the compound and that protection was no longer possible.
I loved this story of the forbidden fruit that is Chains and Jasmine’s story. The secrets, tragic events and loyalty in this book kept the pages turning and my interest focused until the very end. Chains and Jasmine had to fight for their love and prove that Chains was the right man for Jasmine. The Ankeny, IA chapter is one of my favorites due to the special abilities that the characters possess. Chains’ specialty must have been torturous growing up and even as an adult. Touch is one of the senses that most of us can’t go without and his life had to have been tortured by not being able to touch people without covering his hands. I have loved Chains throughout this series and was so happy to have his and Jasmine’s story. I give this book a 5-star review.

This book is part of the Royal Bastards MC collection. This is book four for the Ankeny, IA chapter. These books are better read in order. Each member of this chapter has a special gift. This book takes place over several years. Nico was saved by the club and then when he was old enough, he joined the military so he could join the club later. He meets Jasmine on the night before he begins prospecting. They have a connection right away. Then he learns so is Angel’s sister. Jasmine has a gift of her own that she has never told anyone about. Jasmine and Chains connect again the night he is patched in. Several more years go by before the meat of this story begins. Jasmine is taken along with Angel’s son. When they get her back Chains can’t help back anymore. He could have lost her before he ever had her. Jasmine wants to be with Chains but doesn’t want to tell her brother. Could they ever have anything real without telling Angel about them? Does Jasmine really want to be with Chains or she just using him? This book was fantastic. It was an emotional rollercoaster ride. I felt for both Chains and Jasmine through this whole thing. Almost like they were doomed before they ever got a chance. There are so many twists in this book. Two big ones near the end. I can’t wait to read more about this chapter in future books. Fantastic job Kristine.

Chains is book 4 in Kristine Allen's RBMC: Ankeny, IA series, but book 5 in her adventures into the paranormal world (You you should definitely read Roses are Red). She teased us with glimpses of Chains from book 1, in Voodoo, slowly building the burn, the need for more. Of all the gifts this crew hold, Chains seems the most heart wrenchingly cruel, a curse, leaving him dark & twisty with a fear of getting to close to anyone until, he meets Jay. A meeting, lead by fate & a dream Nico & Jasmine collide into a the same world without understanding the consequences. Misunderstanding, loyalty to his brothers & his club keep these 2 from each other for so long. Tragedy beyond contemplation claiming the innocence of who Jasmine thought she was almost tears them apart, each feeling like they're not good enough for the other until fate steps in again. This couple is so perfectly imperfect, they have wounds that run deep, scars that the eyes can't see but they burn for each other, Nico would burn down the world for Jazz & she breaths life into him when he never thought he'd find peace. My words don't do this couple or this story justice. I loved Chains & I love the world Kristine Allen has taken us into with RBMC. Your dedication to Chris Fleming bought tears to eyes, & his cover was breath taking, he will forever be Chains.

This is one of the only MC series that I like, because it has just a touch of paranormal to it. The paranormal aspect is just enough that gets me out of my head, and let’s me really get lost in the world. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, this is not your typical MC book. This one had me saying OMG, what the, and a bunch of other shocking things.
Chains and Jasmine have one night together, because they have so much chemistry, then one touch and Chains knows who she is. Because of who she is, and other things, these two stay away from each other for years, sighs. They both feel the pull, but still fight it, then a lot happens with Jasmine, and he is the only one that can help her. It’s sad that this is part of what pulls them together, finally, but I am so thankful that he helps her, and makes her feel protected. We all need someone like that, whether we realize it or not. And then more things pull them all the way together.
This book had quite a few twist, and turns, especially the last half of the book…which I loved. We get to see some of our other favorites, and develop some new favorites. A sweet epilogue, a naughty bonus epilogue and a well deserved hea.

I'm flabbergasted on what to say about Chains, the feels, the emotional strain Jasmine is going through after her physical trauma has consumed her well-being. She doesn't know what's up or down, all she knows is the pain, the lack of sleep, the flashbacks, she was breaking and no one else can help except for Chains. We all know secrets don't stay secret for long, with their secret and Chain's past right up their heels no one knows how things will go. Their love have been in a long time in the making, for some reason they always goes back to each other, their souls recognize one another. This book is very emotional and intense, you will feel a certain way, you will be rooting, excited for them to make it. Author Kristine Allen is one of my favorite authors but what she did with Chains and Jasmine's story is beyond what I thought she would do, she did their book justice , you can't not help yourself but love her writing style, you did it author Kristine Allen, phenomenal job ⛓⚜⛓⚜

The 4th book in the Ankeny, IA Chapter of the RBMC. I’ve been waiting for this one and it DID NOT disappoint. It’s emotional, passionate, heartbreaking and so well written by the amazing Kristine Allen.
The members of the Ankeny chapter all have a gift. Chains just happens to be touch. With one touch he can see everything. It’s not always easy to see inside others like that so he wears gloves in order to protect himself and those around him.
Jasmine is forbidden fruit. The sister of one of his MC brothers. When she is brutally attacked, her nightmares and flashbacks become an issue. Chains and Jazz have a history and know they can’t be together. But what do you do when the only person who truly understands you ask happens to be off limits.
Fated to be together, their souls know who they belong too.

Absolutely phenomenal!! Chains was so unexpected and totally knocked it out of the park!!! First off that cover is gorgeous, it fits Chains to a T. Knowing the other stories in the series I thought I had an idea of how the story would go but I was way off! This was a very interesting and unique story line that had me entertained and engaged the whole time. Nico was such a sweetheart and Jazzy was a great match for him. I loved getting to catch up with Voodoo and Angel and getting a little more insight into the other guys in the club. I really felt for Jazzy and all she had to endure but I thought it was handled well and I liked that therapy was brought up. Like it's not something to be ashamed of. Not everything we can handle on our own and that's okay. Wonderfully written and well worth the read. So much happens that you never see coming and it keeps you hooked right till the end!

Chains began with a young Nico trying to find his way on the streets and eventually finding the RBMC.During one of the many parties,he met a woman who later he found out was integrated into the club in more ways than one. All the while the club was dealing with their enemies,Jasmine was pulled right in the middle of it, but still the sneaking around and lies ensued between the both of them. Nico was sent to another chapter,and while he was gone,both of them came to realise how much they meant to each other.
Jasmine became a strong willed and no nonsense woman,and when Nico came back,the fire and passion between them was out of this world. Once again Nico and the club had to save her from the worst of the worst,but it only made them grow stronger. There was plenty of edge of your seat moments,tears,shocks and hotness a plenty...throw in alot of magic from the brothers of the Ackeny chapter,and you have yet another phenomenal read from Kristine!

I have been waiting for Chains, and he did not disappoint!! This is the 4th book in the Ankenny RBMC chapter, and while all of the guys in the books have had paranormal gifts, Chains has the most so far. His gift is the gift of touch, where.when he touches you, he can see everything. Therefore, he always wears gloves, unless he needs to read someone.
But this book is Chains (Nico) and Jasmine's love story. She is the sister of one of his MC brothers, which complicates their relationship (and his with the MC) and keeps them apart on and off for a few years. Chains is also worried about his touch, and Jasmine is coming off a brutal attack. But their love is undeniable, and they find their way to each other.

But this book is Chains (Nico) and Jasmine's love story. She is the sister of one of his MC brothers, which complicates their relationship (and his with the MC) and keeps them apart on and off for a few years. Chains is also worried about his touch, and Jasmine is coming off a brutal attack. But their love is undeniable, and they find their way to each other.

This Chapter of the RBMC just keeps on blowing my mind. If you’ve kept up with the Ankeny, NV chapter, I am sure you get it. This chapter is made up of alpha bikers who have all been born with a special gift, as in glimpses of the future, ability to heal, and many more. But to Chains, his gift might as well be a curse. It’s keeping him at bay from his one and only, Jasmine. Well that and the fact she’s the little sister of one of his MC brothers. Their story started in a prior book, when Jasmine was taken by one of the club’s rivals. She is back now, but very damaged. As for Chains, he’s on a mission to destroy anything and everything that hurt Jasmine. Can he protect her, keep his loyalty in check to her brother and keep his hands off her?
Loved their story, it will take you down a sad bumpy road but the author did an amazing job and put the pieces back together as they should have been.

MORE RBMC IA CHAPTER AND HOTTER THAN EVER ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
If you know about the RBMC and their Chapters you will love this book and revisiting the Club. If you are new, you will fall for these sexy bikers but be careful, some have old ladies already!There is great world building action, suspense, Hotness🔥🔥, twist and turns with a great plot to boot. I recommend this book to everyone because if you don't know these bikers, you're sure to swoon. Nico (Chains) is a brother of the club, he actually has powers. (Chains & Jasmine) TRIGGERS: sexual assault, child abandonment, kidnapping, torture, PTSD. This book… it was hard to read but that's not a bad thing. If you're following the series in order you'll understand why. Chains is another member of the RBMC and also has special powers. He can see visions of the past upon touch. His backstory is pretty dark but no different from the other members. Jasmine is Angel's sister from the previous book. Yes… that Jasmine. What I like about this book is that the author took us into Angel’s history first, then how he met the MC, and eventually how he met Jasmine. Then we take a look at what happened just before the “Jasmine” incident which is very important to the rest of the story. There's a lot of push/pull between Angel and Jasmine and a lot of drama their feelings cause within the club. Not to mention the cleanup and fallout outside of the club for what happened to Jasmine. It's a big, beautiful, sexy mess. I loved it.

The push and pull between Chains and Jasmine is simply amazing. I hated what happened to to Jasmine but I loved how no matter what Chains wants to be there for her. Chains may think he is a bad man but his heart is pure. I can't wait for more in this series, so good!!!

I purchased this book via Amazon and am leaving my review voluntarily. It is part of the multi author Royal Bastards MC Series and the 4th book by this author. (While it's not necessary to read every RBMC book, at least reading the ones from this author will help with the storyline as they are seperate couples but connected. )

From everything Jasmine had been through, plus how much Chains obviously loved her I knew this story would be angsty and emotional, I wasn't wrong. Angel and his reaction to the looks put them through wasted time, had he gone easier on them it might possibly have actually saved Jasmine from some of her pain. This is quite a journey of twists and turns, some magic and other paranormal events. Some suspense and some violence. But i found it to be a real love story that overcame everything thrown in their way and it ended in a HEA for which im grateful, if anyone in this group deserved that then it was definitely Chains and Jazzy. Fabulous story full of wonderful characters, interesting and unique.

When Nico 'Chains' Trinidad was a young boy his mother disappeared after his father was killed, when he grew to old for the system he found himself wandering until he came across the RBMC Ankeny when they saved him from a murder rap, he joined the Military before prospecting. Chains' gift is touch and he can see in peoples minds and memories. At his welcome home party he met Jasmine, and takes her to his room and that's when he finds out that she is his club brothers sister and off limits.
Jasmine knows that Nico is her soul mate but because of her brother, it's complicated.
Great story and fantastic characters, so good to see Voodoo' Grandmere make appearances, can't wait for more.

This was a ride and a half. There was so much going on that the pages just flew buy and I was absorbed into this world. We get to experience Chains life, from his teenage years, some very difficult times, to his adult status as well as his rise to life in the MC. I enjoyed a lot of the situations Chains found himself in, if only because it really bright this man to life in a very 3D way. The romance was great to witness as well as the action and the MC life. I also loved that there were some moments with some familiar faces that really made the story that much more fun. If you have read this series you might know who I am talking about. Fun read.
