"A Must-Read Book From The Godfather Of Impact Investing" - Forbes
Capitalism and democracy are being challenged.
The world must change, but we cannot change it by throwing money at old ideas that no longer work. We need a new path to a new world where inequality is shrinking, where natural resources are regenerated, and people can benefit from shared prosperity. This is the world being created by the Impact Revolution.
Preeminent international investor, entrepreneur, philanthropist, and social finance innovator, Sir Ronald Cohen, has dedicated two decades to leading the Impact Revolution to achievereal social and environmental change. As one of the founders of venture capital, which ushered in the Tech Revolution, he builds on his years of personal experience to deliver a compelling account of how impact investing is reshaping capitalism.

"[IMPACT's] aim is nothing less than to create a new type of capitalism infused with a social purpose. The book deserves to be read by anybody interested in such a revolution."- Martin Wolf, The Financial Times
"A fascinating blueprint for a hope-filled future underpinned by the social power of impact investing."-- Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director, International Monetary Fund, Former CEO, World Bank Group
It‘s a good book and it spills out an interesting vision. However, it is not sufficiently critical about the vision spelt out for me to be able to support and argue for the ideas.
This book offers inspiration and a broad and relatively quick overview of impact investing and the larger idea of impact capitalism. I think it’s a good read for those completely new to those terms. If you’re already familiar with impact investing, you might find the book lacking in depth. I was hoping for more substantial case studies, but overall I recommend this read.
Such an amazing book! It has a great flow and the reading is easy, even though it covers so many topics and concepts that could be hard to understand.
It is very inspiring, presents several practical examples and cases that allow the reader to have a deep understanding of the Impact Investing scenario and Impact Driven ventures.
One of the best readings I have done over the last years, and definitely a must-read for all interested in the topic.
Important book about how we can reshape private and public investing to consider things that are not purely profit. Modern day ESG investing has A LOT of flaws but modern day problems will not be solved through a pure shareholder capitalism model. Need to align capitalistic and human behaviour incentives with goals that are good for planet and people. I will dedicate my life to this stuff.
I found this book to be accessible, sharp and intriguing in the ideas and solutions proposed. Great primer on the future of impact investing for laypeople and finance professionals alike.
