Did you know the medical term for a butt crack is intergluteal cleft?

My name is Reagan, and spouting random facts like this one at inopportune moments is my affliction. I’m chronically awkward, socially inept and completely lack a filter. Believe it or not, men do not find these attractive traits.

When my sexy-as-sin neighbour barges into my apartment at the arse crack of dawn, everything changes. For some strange reason, my brand of crazy doesn’t send him running for the hills. Instead, he settles in for a nap on my couch…

Oh, and did I mention he was completely naked?

Favorite Quotes:

Unless your biological mother has changed her mind about removing my testicles with her bare hands. Then she’d be welcome to join us as well.

I’m SOOO sorry but I have to cancel tonight. I’m surfin’ the crimson wave and Mother Nature is being an extra cruel bitch this month. I feel like a slasher film is being enacted inside my uterus.

Bleed out? That’s a little dramatic. You’re going to need stitches, not a funeral director.

My Review:

Reading this delightful book was pure fun, smirks and giggle-snorts abounded, and there may even have been a bit of a situation of spewed Diet Dew during an unfortunately inconvenient second when my throat couldn’t contain a giggle and swallow at the same time. I didn’t even mind as I was so besotted with this cleverly written tale and deliciously quirky couple. Reagan was totally filterless and a drama llama who claimed to suffer from “a debilitating case of awkwardness.” She was brimming with a mountain of peculiar quirks and a tendency to blurt out oddly comedic and hysterically inappropriate trivia and random facts. I coveted their stamina as much as her amusingly witty collection of coffee mugs. Colorful characters and nimble levity flowed through each page and my only regret was that the story had to end. I would greatly enjoy knowing these enticing characters and spending time with them every day; they were naughty good fun.

Reagan is incredibly awkward. She truly has no filter nor does she have any sense of appropriate conversation. Although she is quite quirky and loveable she has a tough time meeting men. Not many people get her weirdness.

When her neighbour Rhett turns up unexpectedly on her doorstep naked & hung over and crashes on her couch; a whole lot of crazy unfolds. And here an unexpected friendship begins.

This was a laugh out loud romcom, yet sweet and sexy. Reagan was marvellous with her inappropriate dialogue and Rhett was an absolute sweetheart. I loved that this was not an instalove romance. Both characters were refreshingly adult which allowed this story to shine.

"A deep, rough laugh erupts from my belly. This chick is fucking crazy, and I’m loving every second of it."

This was a fun, silly, romance read. Reagan was definitely a character, I'll give you that. I didn't exactly like how Rhett acted towards the end but we're used to men sometimes acting like idiots in this genre. However, there wasn't a lot of explanation on what he was actually doing. You'll see. I liked it enough to read the next book in the series for sure. It also ended a bit abruptly. I'm used to epilogues being what happens when the pair get married or have a baby but this epilogue was the two of them finally telling each other that they loved each other. It seemed a little lacking to me.

Now it wasn't as funny as I thought it would be but it definitely had it's moments. I especially like the scenes where the two main characters met and the subsequent day that followed. It was quite and adventure!

Pink Bits is everything I hoped for and more! Reagan’s awkwardness mimicked my own quirks in ways I didn’t think was possible from a fictional character, and I loved her more for it.

This book had me laughing out loud and I found I couldn’t put it down. Do yourself a favour and read this book.

This was a sorta okayish book for me, it had its ups and downs.. and some ehh moments like these two have been neighbors for 4 years and not once said hello to one another? But Reagan knows his name and Rhett knows of a quirky neighbor that's it.

But it changes when she's remodeling her apartment at 5 am when Rhett goes over to complain little does he know he's buck naked.. and taking advantage of her AC unit and her couch.. friendship is starting lol they get to know eachother and Reagan awkward babbles and info start poppin out thinking her non-filter mouth is going to run this guy off nope he likes how she its new and refreshing some of those facts are wired.. and she's has a fear of blood.. that hospital visit was insane and wow..it did take them awhile to get officially together since Rhett doesn't do girlfriends but thanks to his sister who set him straight he got his girl..

Now things i disliked.. not enough smut :( i was disappointed in that lol as much as i love Reagan facts sometimes her awkwardness was over the top, and Rhett i wish he was atad more Alpha.. he was semi to me..

Low angst, no ow/om drama unless you count the bartender he flirted with for a second (also Reagan mentioned hearing woman through the wall this was before they met and never spoke to eachother never shown just mentioned), drama, slight secondary chara, sexy time, no virgins

OHMIGOSH!!! I am totally and utterly in love with everything that is Pink Bits!

It has just the right balance of quirky, awkward and fun mixed with a heartfelt and gripping story. I literally COULD NOT PUT THE THING DOWN! I stayed up all night to devour it and I would 100% do it again (in fact I might just do it again).

The characters are well written and you instantly fall in love with them, you will feel so at ease with them that you just casually laugh out loud as you are reading. I honestly love this little lighthearted masterpiece and I think you will too! 5/5 stars! A read you need in 2019!

This book is everything that is amazing, it is sweet, touching and absolutely hillarious. This author has outdone herself once again with this story. I can honestly say that this book will allow you to emmerse yourself with the charecters and you will forget the world around you, Sink yourself into their world.

Reagan is a beautiful but extremely akward girl with no filter and has an enormous love of facts, she spouts fact out at times that others would probably find inappropriate, Reagan wants what everyone wants to be loved but finding a Man who will love her beside whats she thinks are faults isn't easy.
Rhett is an incredibly sweet man with commitment issues as in his case he doesn't do commitment, Rhett for some strange reason like her brand of crazy but all he thinks he can offer is friendship. These fireworks are going to be magnificent.

I would recommend this book and author to anyone who loves a beautiful love that is slow in the making and alot of laughter inducing humour, this book is worth reading over and over, I hope if you read this you will adore this book as much as I do. Happy Reading ♡

I was utterly fascinated. Not just with the writing, which was spectacular, or the characters, who were perfection but with the facts she spewed out as well. From page one I was captivated by this story. Actually that’s a lie, the cover and title captivated me first. JB has a real hit on her hands with this wonderful story. I wish it were longer but it was perfect just the way it was written. Would definitely recommend!

Silly but cute

This was great for a short, low angst and funny read. A few times it did get a little too silly for me but I liked these two together.

DNF - 20%. Didn’t like either MC. Rhett is stereotypical, and while Reagan’s lack of filter is funny she’s presented as just eccentric in an illogical way. Both the male and female MCs have an irrational fear of blood - probably plays an important part later, who knows. Then a slight emergency happens, and there’s a bunch of ridiculous drama - and turns out Reagan has a completely irrational meltdown - which she fully acknowledges is crazy - during which she screams and thrashes like a child, calls people trying to help her names, etc. She passes out, vomits, passes out. Then she has the nerve to look down her nose at someone trying to help her, who also vomited.

I’m done.

ETA: Let me make it clear - I'm not making fun of people who can't handle blood. It's a vasovagal response that people literally have no control over - though there ARE ways of attempting to redirect it, since it's an bodily overreaction to certain stimuli. What I can't handle here is how Reagan is so clearly aware of her irrational response and appears to just be "oh well, it's me, deal with it" instead of attempting to be logical and overcome it, to the point of being okay with hurting (sometimes physically, definitely verbally) the people around her. Can't. Deal.

I’m usually not a fan of books this short, but I liked the cover and needed to wash away a string of bad DNFs.

It’s a’right for what it is. No big plot. No drama. No suspense. Low angst. No epic romance. No OW/OM. No cheating.

This is a cute little story of insta attraction to friends to weekend romance to lovers in the HFN.

The dialogue is snappy. Story moves along without drowning in prose. Cute scenes. Mundane shit done with a flare of dramatics …pushing through time to get to know each other around the sexual tension.

FMC is the no-filter quirky girl you can’t help but admire for her IDGAF, even as you cock your head to the side in the ‘huh’ motion. Written well, and she stays in character. Doesn’t change to fit a mold or get the guy. Cool.

MMC is your typical pump and dump sex on a stick bachelor who gets google eyes at the perplex quack job FMC. She’s the one … or so he has to convince himself to get over being burned in the past.

Insert a friend to make an appearance for the next in the series.

Cute, quacky romance with a few smiles and smirks. Not LOL material, but it’s entertaining enough.

Problems that reduced to 3 stars:

1. His hang up isn’t solved on paper. Reader is told about it and his sabbatical to pull his head out of his ass, but I’m not a fan of shit worked out off script. That’s the point of a book - the reader takes the journey with the characters. Just being told he worked his shit out is weak!

2. HFN - gives a 2 week fast forward to an ILY. I guess these characters appear in book 2, but I’d have liked to see something a little more fleshed out than 2 weeks given the MMC huge aversion to relationships.

3. Plot point weakness…. They’ve been neighbors for FOUR YEARS, and he doesn’t know her name. If she’s so out spoken, why hasn’t she already told him he is sex on a stick? I get him not wanting to make a move since he only gives women one ride, but four years is a long ass time to live next to someone and not even know their name. Come on now.

4. What was the point of her dad being in this book? His bitching about paying for a wedding? Problem with the stepmom? I mean those are worms thrown out there not attached to a hook and string ~ I don’t like reading fluffy filling that ends up having no part of the storyline! *Shrugs*

Overall: Nothing extremely satisfying nor dissatisfying. Recommend as a cleanser after a big read or as a short, sweet, oddball sure bet.

Oh my god! This is one of my favourite reads for the year so far! How have I not read any books by this author before??

Pink Bits tells the story of a socially awkward girl named Reagan, who has a knack for saying weird things in the head of the moment. She’s the queen of random facts, and it’s this quirkiness that makes it hard for her to get close to anyone.

Rhett is her sexier than sin neighbour who winds up in her apartment one morning, leaving little to the imagination. The chemistry between these two is so good. Instead of finding her awkward, he finds her endearing. He never knows what she’s going to come up with next.

But, Rhett doesn’t do girlfriends. He’s a hit ‘em and quit ‘em kinda guy. It’s a case of will they, won’t they?

I absolutely adored this story. It had me giggling so much at the awkwardness, and swooning so hard at the sweetness. Definitely on my highly recommend list!

Pink Bits - J B Heller
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

J B Heller has never let me down with her writing bad Pink Bits just took it to the next level.

Hilariously funny and yet heartwarming at the same time. Reagan was the epitome of weird geek with a touch of the klutzy’s and her off beat sense of humour and out there random facts struck a chord with me, as I’m known for a very similar disability. Trivial brain syndrome I call it.

Rhett was so patient and attentive and the sexual chemistry between him and Reagan was off the charts..... perfectly imperfect in every way.

Would definitely recommend this story to any reader, desperately seeking an all out laugh fest. J.B Heller...... you’ve done it again! Great work.

Absolutely loved this story. From page one I was hooked on Reagan. She’s awkward, quirky and wonderful!! I was in tears of laughter every time she opened her mouth and her encounters with Rhett were epic. Their slow burn was worth the wait. This is one story you must read. You will love every second of it and will not want to put it down. I cannot wait to see what she writes next.

If you've been seeing me around, you know I usually don’t enjoy contemporary romances and usually use my reviews as a ranting excuse. But Pink Bits was quite the pleasant surprise.

Pink Bits was a fun read, with lovable and quirky characters and a total absence of angst and drama.

It's refreshing, adorable, short and will make you smile from start to finish.

My first read of this author. The girl is completely nuts but I liked that about Reagan. Her quirkiness is so unique. This is a sweet, lovely and romantic story. When you fantasise about the hot sex on a stick next door neighbour and he’s in your apartment naked because his air con is not working, talk about the weird way the universe works. She’s nervous about meaning people because she’s socially inept, awkward and lacks a filter. I think her lack of filter is my favourite part about her and I think Rhett would agree he loves her brand of crazy. This was a good read with so many funny moments.

Reagan Moore and Rhett Jones have been neighbours for four years but never formally met until 5am one morning when Rhett knocks on her door, sans clothes, hungover and looking for a cool place to finish sleeping after Reagan had woken him. Reagan suffers from a debilitating case of awkwardness and admits this freely. Rhett, unlike most guys, doesn’t immediately run in the opposite direction!

OMG this is story hilarious! This is one of the best romantic comedies I have ever read. I love the fun facts that spout from Reagan’s mouth and the timing of those facts, her innate sense of humour that shines through with her choice of mugs and sleepwear as well as her little bit of crazy. The fun banter between characters has you chuckling too and at times down right laughing out loud.

Great characters, with terrific descriptions, head up this story, very enjoyable to read about and like too, very real as well. I sincerely hope we get to read Charlotte’s story next.

This fast paced story is very easy to read and I could have read more and more about Reagan and Rhett!

This is quick and funny read. Reagan has no filter and is quite awkward, which tends to scare the men away. Her neighbot, Rhett, finds her quirkiness endearing and can't help but want to help her out when he inadvertently causes her injury. And while this was a fun and quirky read, it left me wanting a little bit more from the story.

Pinks Bits by JB Heller is one of the cutest, funniest, made-me-smile-from-ear-to-ear type of book that I have read in a while.  I absolutely love Reagan’s quirky personality and Rhett, I love ALL OF HIM and I mean ALL OF HIM!  Pink Bits is a quick read but totally satisfying.  JB knocked it out of the park with this one if you are looking for a quick romantic comedy to read.
