Social media influencer Maxxe Denehey has worked her entire life to perfect an algorithm to pair humans with their perfect pup mate, which could save thousands of shelter dogs. All she needs is an IT group to push it through to the finish line. But making a dog-finding app sexy isn’t as easy as Maxxe thinks.
Cocky and confident Tanner Hancock is the youngest Vice President for Astoria Tech, and is always on the lookout for the “next big thing,” and when he has a meeting with Maxxe, he knows he’s found it. Not the app, but the woman. He impulsively agrees to help the savvy programmer, only so that he can convince her to date him.
As the two work together toward their separate goals, the boundaries of their relationship begin to blur, moving from strictly professional to something more. Despite her long-standing emotional barriers, Maxxe lets Tanner in...but is he willing to risk his job for a dog-finding app?

Dogwood, where the best things in life are rescued.
#KissMeKieran is a book with expertly crafted scenes and witty dialogue kept me engrossed from start to finish! I was drawn in from page one and learning about the main characters as they learned about each other brought just the right level of suspense and mystery to keep me involved. This Dogwood romance had me literally laughing out loud, getting misty-eyed at the vulnerable sincerity of the characters, and wanting to be able to become friends with them in reality.
Fantastic! I don't normally go for the romance novels, but I loved it. Ugh it really got me - box of kleenex and all. The characters were easy to picture and recognize as people you might know yourself, or know the type anyway. But then I got to know them better, I became invested in this story. There was a pretty good balance of seeing what was coming and plot twist out of left field.
Excellent book and I plan to read the next endeavor!
This is a cute love story and a fun read. I enjoyed the supporting characters as much or even more so than the main characters. I had to chuckle at the idea of tossing interns at important clients. Usually, the clients want senior staff, but then I thought, hey, it’s romantic fantasy, so it doesn’t have to be 100 percent realistic. It more about how people might want IT to be.
Tori - keep writing and wearing your awesome shoes!
It's probably a bit tacky for me to rate my own book, but it is so good! I go back to it once a year to read, and these characters still tug me deep into the feels. It's easy to read, flows so well through events, and still makes me giggle. I do really love this story.
