As long as LonelyDaddy is on the other side of the computer screen, there’s a chance he could be the man Emerson has been dreaming of.

I’ve gotten used to being alone, to disappearing inside the fictional worlds between the pages of a book and letting my lonely life fade away.

Books have never judged me for the stutter I can’t control. Books have never abandoned me. Books have never let me down. Then again, books have never hugged me or told me they love me either, so my plan is far from perfect.

The first time I lay eyes on the tall, red haired Kiernan with a beard for days and shoulders made for scratch marks, I wanted to crawl into his lap and call him Daddy. The only problem is, I can never seem to string two words together around him… heck, I’d be happy to manage to get even one word out, like maybe “yes”, preferably over and over again.

I thought making an online dating profile would be the hardest part, but it turns out getting up the courage to meet the man I’ve been messaging is even more difficult. Could LonelyDaddy be Kiernan? And if he is, is there any chance he’ll want to keep me? Can I be his brave boy?

***Brave Boy is the online love-sweet, ginger Daddy- totally swoony- second book in the Perfect Boys series and can be read as a stand-alone.

~3.5~

The relationship between Emerson and Kiernan is definitely too easy and over the top with the insta love and adoration, but I couldn't bring myself to care. I was looking for a swoony story with sprinkles on top, and that's what I got.

Em is always awkward and tongue-tied when Kiernan is around. He wants Kiernan desperately, wants what his friend Sterling has with his Daddy, but he's too shy to ask for it. Kiernan doesn't want to push Em, but Em is all he thinks about.

To become more familiar with the whole Daddy/boy thing, Em joins an online kink dating site and meets LonelyDaddy. We know immediately that LonelyDaddy is Kiernan, and that he becomes smitten with Brave Boy, who is none other than Emerson.

Kiernan figures out Brave Boy's identity but doesn't know how to confess to Emerson that he's LonelyDaddy. Meanwhile, Emerson is torn between Kiernan and LonelyDaddy (since he doesn't know they're one and the same).

Once Kiernan reveals (around the 60% mark) that he's indeed LonelyDaddy (in a very charming way, I must say), it's all sex toys and flowers and terms of endearment.

Honestly, not much happens in this book. It's one hundred percent relationship focused with some mild kink (plugs, collar, voyeurism) thrown in.

This story is sexy and hella sweet, and just what I needed at the moment.

⭐️ 4/5 — Sweet, tender, and low-angst perfection that made my heart melt 💜
🌶 3.5/5 — Hot but soft, perfectly balanced with the feels ❤️‍🔥

Online relationship is one of my favorite tropes, and when you mix it with Daddy/boy dynamics? That’s my happy place. 🥹💕 This book gave me exactly what I was craving—soft, swoony, and low-angst with just the right touch of spice. 🥰

⚖️🦄 The MCs ⚖️🦄

Emerson – He's the shy, stutter-soft owner of a cozy little bookstore. His stutter chips away at his confidence, but beneath that unicorn-shirt exterior, he hides a secret—he’s also Dick Stroker, one of the most popular names in gay erotica. Sweet and self-conscious, yet bold on the page, Emerson harbors a quiet crush on Kiernan, the polished lawyer who makes his heart race. More than anything, he longs for a Daddy who will love him the way he’s always dreamed. 📚🦄💜✨️

Kiernan – He may have the polished charm of a wealthy lawyer, but behind the expensive suits and sharp courtroom confidence is a man who’s bone-deep lonely. His height and broad build might make him look intimidating, but in truth, he’s gentle, patient, and aching for something real. All Kiernan has ever wanted is a boy of his own—someone he can love without conditions, protect fiercely, and give the world to. And with Emerson, he finally sees the chance to have exactly that. ⚖️🐻❤️🎁

💞 The Chemistry 💞

Their tension is deliciously awkward—Emerson stumbling over words, Kiernan patient but unsure, both caught between wanting and not knowing. Online, they connect anonymously through an app, saying the things they’re too nervous to in person. Flirty, confessional, and magnetic, their push-pull is tender, frustrating, and oh-so worth the payoff. ✨️

🥹💕 Too Cute to Handle Moments 🥹💕

Quote #1
BraveBoy: “If I’m not ready to tell you my name? Even if it is only virtual?”
LonelyDaddy: “What if I tell you a name, but it won’t be mine. And you can do the same.”
BraveBoy: “Like aliases?”
LonelyDaddy: “Like aliases.”
BraveBoy: “Okay, I’ll be Tom.”
LonelyDaddy: “Nice to meet you, Tom. I’m Dick.”
BraveBoy: (bursts out laughing) “You can’t be Dick.”
LonelyDaddy: “But my middle name is Richard…”
BraveBoy: “Pick a different name, Daddy.”

💭 This exchange killed me. 🤣 It’s playful, flirty, and so them. Daddy throwing “Dick” out there with a serious tone, and BraveBoy losing it—I couldn’t stop smiling. 😆

Quote #2
BraveBoy: “Daddy…”
LonelyDaddy: “Hmm? …Why is my cheek wet?”
BraveBoy: “You wouldn’t wake up, so I licked you.”
LonelyDaddy: “…Seems reasonable.” (deadpans)
BraveBoy: “I thought so.” (grins cheekily)

💭 This one had me snorting. Like—licking Daddy awake?? Who does that? 😂 But then his deadpan response was absolute perfection. Equal parts funny and adorable, and it shows just how comfortable they are together. 🥹💖

🌶 The Spice 🌶

Quote #1
Kiernan: “Did you get your present?”
Emerson: “Mmhmm… Is it…?”
Kiernan: “A replica of my cock? I hope you don’t mind. Imagining you fucking yourself with my cock made me so desperately horny I could hardly breathe.”
Emerson: (blinked, his gaze dropping to the very obvious uncircumcised replica.)

💭 I swear I wasn’t prepared for this. 💀 A clone-a-cock I can handle—I’ve come across it in other books—but an UNCUT replica? 🍆 That sent me straight into “WTF did I just read but also why is this so hot??” mode. 😳🫦

Quote #2
Kiernan: (eases his finger into Emerson's hole, right alongside the plug) “Everyone can see what a slut you are for my fingers in your ass.”
Emerson: (whimpers, cock jerking hard, shivering against Kiernan’s chest)

💭 Emerson being such an unapologetic little exhibitionist while Kiernan just feeds his craving?? God, yes. That’s the power combo—Daddy indulging his boy’s dirtiest kinks without shame, while also claiming him in front of everyone. Filthy, indulgent, and possessive as hell. 🥵❤️‍🔥

🏁 The Ending 🏁

What made the ending hit so hard for me wasn’t just Emerson finding his footing—it was both of them finally getting the love they’d been quietly craving all along. Two lonely men with secret crushes, finally brave enough to let themselves be seen, wanted, and loved. 🥹❤️

Kiernan’s steady devotion met Emerson’s shy hope, and the result was a HEA that felt tender, joyful, and so worth the wait. By the time the last page rolled around, it wasn’t just Emerson thriving—it was Kiernan too, because they finally had each other. 💞✨

Quote:
“I l-love you, Daddy.”
“I love you too, Brave Boy. More than anything.”
“Mm-more than anything? Mm-more than diamonds and fancy c-c-cars and books?”
“More than every breath in my lungs and every star in the sky.”

📝 TLDR 📝

What this book serves:
✨️ Sweet & spicy Daddy/boy dynamic with all the heart 💜
✨️ Emerson = shy, fumbling baby boy who grows into his courage 🦄
✨️ Kiernan = gentle, patient Daddy who finally gets his forever boy ❤️‍🔥
✨️ Low angst, lots of warmth, and heat that’ll melt you 💘
✨️ Ends with the most satisfying HEA 💍

Quotes:

I do my best to ignore the momentary flair of disappointment. I’m sad Kiernan isn’t here because now I won’t have the chance to blush and stutter like an idiot in his general direction? What an epic tragedy. Eyeroll.
-
LonelyDaddy: It’s getting late. I want you to get some sleep.
I half expect him to protest. After all, what right do I have to tell him what to do? As I told Alden and Barrett earlier, he’s a boy, but he’s not my boy.
BraveBoy: Yes, Daddy.
His response knocks the air from my lungs. I don’t know what his voice sounds like, but I would kill to hear the words on his lips.
-
As soon as I’m through the door, the sound of Emerson’s laughter echoes down the hallway, stopping me in my tracks immediately. My heart stutters to a stop and then breaks into a gallop. I want to be the reason he makes such a lovely sound. I want it more than I want my next breath. I want it more than I want every dime in my bank account.
-
“Good boy,” he praises, those simple two words going straight to my cock. “Show me how you get your hole ready.”
-
The needy twitch of his hips, accompanied by the breathy sounds falling from his mouth, is beyond addicting. I wonder how opposed the boy would be to spending a week in my bed, naked and perpetually covered in a mixture of our cum. I may have to propose it after we’ve met. I can’t imagine any amount of my sweet, perfect boy would be enough to sate the craving I have for him.
-
“I want to fuck you deep until you feel me in you for days. I want to leave you dripping with my cum.”
-
As hard as I just came into my own hand, I’m not feeling all that settled or relaxed, no doubt because I can’t tug my boy into my arms and feel his breathing slow as his body softens into a boneless sleep.
-
“Kiernan,” he says my name with a hint of frustration, and it settles all wrong over me. I want to hear how the word Daddy will sound on his lips. Ideally, slightly breathless as he looks up at me through those thick eyelashes of his, all sweet and needy.
-
“Daddy,” he whispers, a smile spreading over his cherry red lips. The word sends a bolt of heat through me, everything in the universe seeming to align for this unbearably perfect moment.
-
“I want to taste your cum. Be a good boy and give it to me.”
-
“I like you feeling comfortable and sexy. If that means wearing makeup, then I’ll buy you all the makeup you want. If it means being completely and utterly bare from head to toe, then I’ll make sure the house is always the perfect temperature.”
-
“C-can I c-c-call you later?”
“You can call me any time you want, sweetheart. I mean it. If you wake up at two in the morning and just need to hear my voice, you call. If you’re at work an hour from now and want to call me for reassurance that all of this is real, pick up the phone and make the call. I know this is all new, but the first and most important thing I need you to know is that I’m here for you, always.”
-
“You don’t have to worry so much. It’s my job as your Daddy to tell you what I need you to do. If you’re confused or uncertain of how to act, that’s my fault, not yours.”
-
“We’re only on the second floor. It would be easy for someone to catch a glimpse of us up here if they got curious. Do you want someone to see how much you love having your throat stuffed with Daddy’s cock?”
-
”They're going to hear you choke on my cock. Are you ready?”
-
Emerson: Come outside, Daddy
Daddy: Is everything okay?
Emerson: Of course. Just come outside.
I should’ve guessed that he wouldn’t believe me that everything is fine. It takes less than a second for Kiernan to come flying out the front door like he’s sure I’m going to be on fire on his front lawn. His eyes land on my car as he sprints down the stairs in a half-buttoned shirt and no shoes.
-
“Emerson, my brave, perfect boy…” He reaches into his pocket and drops to one knee.
“W-w-w-what are you doing?” Is this for real? I’m dreaming, right? I have to be dreaming.
Kiernan pulls a small, velvety box out of his pocket and pops it open to reveal a surprisingly simple silver band.
“I don’t want to live another day of my life without you. You’re already mine, and I’m already yours, but why don’t we go ahead and make it official?”
I nod rapidly, not trusting my voice. But just in case there’s any confusion, I launch myself at him, tackling him in a kiss and smiling against his lips.
“Is that a yes, sweetheart?” he checks, laughing against my mouth.
“Yes,” I whisper, letting him take my hand and slip the ring into place.

Deliciously filthy and heartbreakingly tender.

I don’t usually reach for daddy/boy romances, but sometimes they hit exactly right - and this one did. I’m a sucker for the anonymous texting/online-first trope, and it’s handled so beauuuutifully here.

Emerson and Kiernan already know each other IRL, but they also start chatting through a kink app - both secretly hoping the man on the other end is the real life daddy/boy they can’t stop thinking about, without realising at first that’s exactly who they’ve found and without daring to believe they could actually get that lucky.

Their connection - online and off - is soft, careful, and genuinely special and it’s the beating heart of the book.
Kiernan is the most caring, considerate, ginger (😍), soft daddy of my dreams, and he takes exquisite care of his shy, yearning, stuttering, secretly-naughty boy. I loved the honesty between them and the blessed lack of miscommunication (hard to pull off with an anonymous texting setup!). But you can just always feel that Kiernan has his boy’s best interests front and center, which was just so LOVELY to read.

What I really appreciated was the authenticity in their struggles. Even though both knew what they wanted from the lifestyle, Kiernan sometimes got it wrong (buying the wrong gifts, for example), and Emerson was terrified of not being “enough” of the perfect boy. Watching Emerson learn that he is already perfect just the way he is was heart-squeezing 🥹.

The steam was hot hot hot and I ESPECIALLY enjoyed that they were verse and played this way and that together. I feel like that’s unusual in a dynamic like theirs but I loved that the author went there and broke up some stereotypes I had in my head. Same with daddy Kiernan reading gay erotica unashamedly, I loved that about him 😅

As with most anonymous texting stories, you need to suspend disbelief a little, but it never stretched too far.
My only two niggles: the story lost a little steam once they got together in real life, and I would’ve liked more background on both MCs - like Emerson’s experience growing up with a stutter, or Kiernan’s journey into the lifestyle. Maybe some of that was covered in book one (which I haven’t read yet), but still, I wanted a bit more.

Overall though, this was a really lovely, soft, easy read that balanced tenderness with delicious filth in the best way. 🥰

PS: Who tf is the guy on the cover supposed to be?! That’s the most unfitting cover model I’ve ever seen, lol.

PPS: First book club read - and I had such a blast with you lovely girls, so THANK YOU BABES 🫶

Brave Boy was such a deliciously sweet story!! After reading Pretty Boy which I didn't love I was super skeptical to even read this one because I didn't know how cringe worthy it would be. It wasn't though, it was just perfectly sweet with little to no drama. Kiernan and Emerson really made it easy to fall for their love!!

Emerson was the whole reason I decided to go ahead with this book. He was just the cutest in Pretty Boy, a kind of quirky bookstore owner with a stutter. Come one, how can that not pique your curiosity at least a bit? He wasn't too sure what he wanted as far as a Daddy went but since the moment, he met Kiernan the big powerful ginger he was entranced.

Kiernan had done the whole club scene for a good part of his life, but it was finally time for him to find that one special boy to spend his future with. From the first moment he met Emerson he knew he was what he wanted but the boy could hardly speak one word around him. If he wanted this thing to work with them then he had to give him the space and time to trust that Kiernan just wanted him the way he was.

As these two start chatting on an app anonymously both men can't help but hope that the man on the other side of the screen is the person they really want.

With hardly any drama, low angst and a deliciously sweet Daddy who just wants to take care of his boy Brave Boy was such a beautiful, sweet read. Just because this book was sweet and cute didn't mean that it lacked in steam. Let me be very clear on that it was seriously steamy a good portion of the time even through their chats.

Since I adored this book so much more, I am kind of looking forward to book three in the series since it is looking to be a MMM which might prove to have a bit more drama and angst than this one. Four stars for Kiernan and Emerson!!

‘Sex is about choosing to share the deepest possible level of intimacy with someone, and I think Emerson might be the first man I’ve been with who understands that’

I loved this even more then the first one but I’m a sucker for boys who love books in my books! And this scratched that itch! Emerson has a stutter but is trying to find himself a daddy or the perfect ginger daddy to be exact and that’s Kiernan! Kiernan was super patience, the ‘know eachother in real life but text on an anonymous app’ was chefs kiss!!! Then them finally meeting I swooned at that part! Sooo good! Low angst all the feels!

This was adorable and so tender and so sweet. There is so much to love in this book even if it wasn’t perfect in the end.

“Why is my cheek wet?” He reaches up and wipes it with the back of his hand.
“You wouldn’t wake up, so I l-l-ll-licked you,” I explain.
“Seems reasonable,” he deadpans.

So cute! 💀

But here are the things that annoyed me tho and/or were missed opportunities if you’d ask me.

🤬 WHY make us readers anticipate a masquerade when their anonymity wasn’t kept for even one second anyways? This could’ve been *soooooo juicy! Instead the bust of the whole anonymity was just anticlimactic.

🤬 WHY let Emerson write filthy stories secretly in his free time but not use it further in the plot? Kiernan even admits to Em to love and read smutty books, so WHY not bring this together??? Why make the revelation almost an afterthought just shy of the end?

🤬 And WHY oh why was it necessary to stress over and over again that previous boys only where into Kiernan for the vast amount of money he has when it was clear from the beginning that Emerson wasn’t interested in it at all?

Sadly, as much as I loved this story up to a certain point it went downhill for me after the masquerade and the immediate aftermath—so like around 75%. It was basically all said and done, no further conflict to be had or things that challenged their relationship. Instead Emerson just hands Kiernan a list of his fantasy and they go on a quest to live them out all lovey-dovey. It just didn’t hit the same like what I had wished for.

In the end I tried to remember how much I loved reading the majority of the book tho and then ultimately decided to go for four rather than only three stars.

Wonderful heartwarming Daddy/boy read! Oh, I love a good "falling in love through DM/texts" story. This one's even more fun bc the MCs know each other and are interested in each other IRL, but, for Reasons, haven't made a move yet. Thanks to @Pauline for putting this one on my radar; you were so right!

MC Emerson longs for a Daddy to love and to care for him, but the man he is interested in, Kiernan, makes him so Nervous he can barely speak around him. Yes, Emerson speaks with a stutter, and it worsens when he's nervous or upset, and he's feeling helpless to change that around the gorgeous Kiernan.

MC Kiernan is tired of all the boys he's played with who want him for gifts and money and not for himself. The shy, blushing bookshop owner who's best friends with Kiernan's closest friend's boy caught his eye, but he can't seem to get the man to talk to him in more than a few words, let alone agree to a date. Still, there's just something about Emerson that calls to his Daddy instincts...

Long story short, Emerson decides to "practice" talking to Daddies on the M4M kink app. Kiernan decides to create a new, anonymous profile on the same app. Guess whose profiles attract/appeal to each other and start these two on an exploratory friendship to advice to anonymous sexytimes relationship?!

It's adorable, HOT, loving and everything each needs...except...they want it in person, and Emerson needs to work through his fears and be ready to find out who LonelyDaddy really is before things can move forward...but it's such a lovely supportive and kind journey to get there. Also, Emerson writes erotica...which honestly I'd have loved to be more a part of the story, it was kind of a side element that could have been more organic to the tale.

I had so much fun watching these two fall for each other through words, then actions, then in person!

HEA, Daddy-boy, anonymous DMs to love. NO OM action; mild OM drama from a past boy, but, no big deal at all. Exhibitionism, totally consensual and mutual. Lovely story! Highly recommended.

So very late reviewing this but my reading slump + social media burnout is still kicking my butt.
Anyway!
Very, very, very cute story.
I especially adored the first half: build-ups are always my favourite part in a romance, and in this case, it did not disappoint. I'm usually not the biggest fan of "meeting on social media" and "hidden identities" as tropes, but I loved it here. Kiernan becoming jealous of himself was hilarious lol.

It wasn't totally a winner, unfortunately.
I'm extremely picky with my contemporary romances, especially the daddy kink ones (they can get boring and too cheesy so quickly for me; I only trust a handful of writers with this kind of dynamic) but I can admit I liked the way it was handled here. Especially since Emerson and Kiernan aren't immediately EXCELLENT in their boy/Daddy roles. I appreciated how the author showed them messing up.
I did get bored after the grand reveal, though. I know this is a me problem, but when couples get together in this kind of book, I always feel my attention waning and I start skimming. SIGH.

All in all, though, it was fun and sweet and also pretty hot.
The best part of this was discussing it with the book club girls though <3 oh how I love to yap about romances *happy sigh*

I adored this.
I enjoyed it more than the first book.
The MCs had a lot more chemistry, and a lot more kink!

I almost didn't read it, because I didn't like the cover. Shallow, I know. The guy on the cover doesn't look like either of the MCs, who were introduced in the first book. I honestly don't know why they went with this cover.

I've noticed K.M. Neuhold has a tendency to leave things loose. (Not only here but also on her other books) Here it promises you to give you extra dirty, kinky, hot as hell content and it approaches in a promising direction and stumbles badly that by the end It's just another over the top cutesy romance....

It all felt fake. Em is a famous "EROTICA WRITER" with good fan following but putting his sex life bluntly at first, trying hard to convince us that he's innocent and suddenly he's the god of sexiness, his libido is off limit. I'm sorry i did not buy it. It tried to be more like fantasy yet relatable ultimately making a confusing mess.

NGL Em and Kiernan's relationship was pretty swoony but i did not sign up for it, so slightly disappointed, just a tiny bit 😅.

An excellent Daddy and a marvelous, brave boy!
Daddy/boy, BDSM, erotic play, voyeurism, no ABDL (no - Adult baby diaper lover, no coloring, etc.) just a boy who needs to be taken care of.
They meet and Emerson gets tipsy, goes home and writes another sexy session in his new book.
Emerson is about mid twenties, a lean twink

who writes erotica and owns a bookstore. He's sweet, mild, smart and adorable, but his stutter hold him back.
Kiernan, late 30s, is 6'5", a ginger, bearded,

a hot hunky Lawyer, a Daddy who is tired of being alone.

Kiernan comes to the shop to ask Emerson for coffee, but Emerson is afraid to speak and ruin everything.

Online, at M4M, our men find each other, BraveBoy and LonelyDaddy, but identity's are not shared. They get along, text and like their chats.

I've read tales with this trope, but this is different and most enjoyable.

We have lovely characters, an easy pace, and super hot, erotica sexiness, and sex toys.
We see their deep thoughts, dates, sexting and face time fun- without faces, plus conversations about Daddy/boy needs.

Exciting and fun, a wonderful tale of deep love found, needs met, and glorious acceptance !
ENJOY !

Overall book rating: 2
Audio Book: N/A
Book Cover: 3

It's Me. I'll be the bigger person and admit that.
At least there wasn't any age play or diapers involved.
(Plus point for me, but to each his own)

I was looking forward to something with a little mystery and
slow burn but hot dam slow burn is not on this menu.
It didn't rock my boat.

A perfect boy is not perfect, but tries to be.

Everyone is different and the differences cover a wide range of physical, mental, emotional, relational, and familial problems. Some are organic. Some are acquired by abuse and neglect. Some are learned to survive based on conditions or lack of resources. None are developed thru love and care.

Finding the right love match after growing out of you childhood family and friends is a real challenge. Relationships develop slowly over time and rapid changes due to events complicate the process. It takes time for trust to weld relationships.

Emerson has had a rough life, but even though he has made it successful, he did not have friends, only dreams. But he was able to take advantage of a few opportunities to make his life so much better thru meeting Sterling and making dreams come true.

Building up his bookstore, boosting his writing, making new friends, helping others with mobile libraries, and finding the Daddy he needed in Kiernan changed his life and made his fantasies come true beyond his dreams. Now if he will just get a new car.

Brave Boy resonated with me more than Pretty Boy did. I'm not exactly sure why, but while Pretty Boy was good, I really enjoyed the interaction between Emerson and Kiernan, both online and in person.

While it is instalove, they do have to work at building an actual relationship, so it doesn't feel as instant, if that makes sense. I like Emerson's quick wit, and Kieran's protective nature. They fit well as Daddy and boy.

You don't really have to have read Pretty Boy first, but there is some overlap so parts of it will make more sense if you do.

It's a quick, fun read that left me smiling.

I'm so glad to read Emerson's story so soon. He's my favourite side character in Pretty Boy, something about his character appeals to me even though he wasn't being focused much. I know I didn't get enough of him and Gawd, this book is exactly what I wished for. I definitely love this story more than the first book. With the same theme as the previous book, we see a daddy/boy dynamic between Kierman and Emerson. Kierman was Barrett's best friend and was introduced in the first book as one of the investor team that backs up Sterling and Emerson mobile library project. His interest in Emerson was mentioned briefly in the first book as well when they first met. Emerson was also introduced in the first book as an indie bookshop owner who had taken a liking for Sterling and offered him a job in the bookshop. He was a supportive and cherished friend of Sterling and a great side character in the book. He was always mindful of his stutter which he was always embarrassed about.

We see how Kierman helps Emerson to see his own beauty in being who he is and not what the assumed perfection to be. Instead of swooping in like a prince charming, he was patient with his effort and chase. If you enjoy the first book in the series, you will love this. A must-read for those who started the series. This can be read as a standalone but of course, you should read the first book to enjoy the story more.

DNF ~20%

I went into this a bit skeptical and I just couldn't get through it. It's just so OTT unrealistic and feels like the author really phoned it in.

DNF @ 65% - this book unfortunately felt generic in every way. I tried to push through it, but at 65% I realized I didn’t care about or feel invested in the two main characters and was skimming through the chapters because I just wanted to be done with the book. The sex scenes were hot in general, but the chemistry and emotional connection weren’t there for me.

After the glorious book 1, I was kind of disappointed with this installment.

The online thing was too coincidental and there was too much sex...if you can believe it!

This was alright, there was literally zero angst and no main conflict which was what I was waiting for as I got closer to the end of the book.

Emerson and Kiernan were cute together, all I have to say is when Emerson kept going on about his “fluttering hole” (he said that a few times, I mean one time is too many for that to be said) it took me out of the book to laugh out loud hahah.

Overall if you are looking for a sugary sweet, no angst, daddy/boy book this would be a good one to pick up.

How did i not realise this was erotica? Lol!

I don't have anything against erotica, I just thought this would be similar to her "4 Bears" series.. and no I didn't read Book #1. Well I guess that's on me.

It was still pretty well written so the 3 stars are for that!

BRAVE BOY was really cute and swoony and I love how K.M. Neuhold writes these low angst, super sexy reads where both MCs are kind and genuine people.

Emerson was a delight to read about. I loved him as Sterling’s friend in PRETTY BOY and I loved him even more in this one! I also really appreciated that Emerson’s stutter isn’t overly traumatized or used as a plot point for suffering. It’s definitely a source of frustration for him that he gets tongue tied around Kiernan at first, but he’s never shamed or made fun of for it. It’s just a part of who Emerson is and I felt like it was very normalized, which I’d like to see in more romances.

Kiernan was the perfect hero and I adored the way he cared for Emerson and never pushed him. Even when he realized that BraveBoy and Emerson were the same person he went at Emerson’s pace. He was so understanding and mindful of other people’s needs but I guess that’s what made him such a good Daddy for Emerson.

Favorite Quotes:

Every time I see him, I swear I somehow get even more tongue-tied than the last time. Hot mess: table for one.

I’ll wait for Emerson as long as I have to, as long as he needs me to. He’s worth it.

“Daddy, I d-don’t need things.” He takes the watch off and carefully hands it back to me. “I only need you.”

*happy sigh* This book was great. It was a perfect accompaniment to book one, Pretty Boy. Emerson is absolutely adorable. He's the quintessential example of a good boy. He only wants to be loved by his Daddy and Kiernan comes through with all the love they can handle. I adored Emerson and his obsession with mythical horses. From the moment we were first introduced to Emerson in Pretty Boy, I've been waiting for his book. His stutter only makes him more loveable and Kiernan is the perfect patient Daddy. These two start off a little unconventionaly but man they are HOT! Emerson has some very sexy ideas that he can't wait to explore with his Daddy and boy does Daddy deliver! I may be biased but I absolutely love everything Kyleen writes so naturally this book is no exception. If you like a shy boy who gains his confidence with help from his Daddy then this book is what you need.

I adored this one ! Daddy/Boy (no age play)
A boy with a stutter who owns a bookstore and loves unicorns. He's shy at first glance but loves exhibitionism and writes the dirties mm romances in his spare time . A lot kinkier than the first book in the series, damn that scene at the Kink club is 🔥
