This novella gave me exactly what I wanted—comfort, Daddy kink, and just the right amount of steam to make me giggle and blush like the filthy little romantic I am. 😚

not bad, story plot was fine but considering Gage wanted Estella to call him Daddy, he gotta act a bit to fit into the Daddy role? his character was alpha but not to the extent of 'Daddy-like' (if you get what im saying)

I loved this story but if you don’t like daddy kink and you aren’t cool with suggested age-play then you probably won’t like this. It’s definitely the hottest book I’ve read so far this month. The story is decent even with how hot it is. I have this set on my re-read shelf and will probably be visiting it again soon.

Im 60% sure ive read this book.. i just cant remember where lol.. this was a fast pace pretty down and dirty book..
Estella is a model who is on a stricked schedule always listening to her step-mom being bossed around and found out the guy who wanted to rape and kidnap her is out.. so brother sends his best friend who was a ex marine and had a small past with Estella he hasn't seen her since that nighg he kissed her.. who shes somewhat trying to avoid.. being around eachother is tempting and it doesn't take Gage that long to claim his girl.. making sure shes safe, eating right and not dying is what Gage is doing..

Umm... it was ok. You can't expect much or take it too seriously when the book it's this short. Though it could have been better. There were many loopholes.About the daddy play, I really didn't feel it. Just because he tells her to say it, from nowhere, it didn't mean we truly saw the lifestyle. A little disappointing.

So much yum in one book.
Oh this book had it all! Brother's best friend, bodyguard, older man, and Daddy tropes all rolled into one. Throw in a bit of suspense and intrigue and this book had my kindle burning up.
I LOVED Gage's growly and gruff possessive demeanor and his drive to care and protect Estella. He was definitely swoon worthy!

I picked up this book on a stuff your kindle day and I can't honestly say I am too satisfied with the pick.
Based on the title I expected a stepfather or father of a friend age gap thing, but it's not he case. The MMC is simply a friend of her brother with a daddy kink. It was a bit of a letdown but hey, I can deal with that.
For a quick dirty read this definitely does it, but the characters feel forced, just silly and have over the top clichés. Gabe even comes off like a white male and in my vocabulary that a really bad thing.
I found it hilarious that the FMC is a little innocent virgin here, made the dirty parts just absurd and unrealistic. You really have to be in the mood for this to enjoy.
I am not sure who I would recommend this book. Probably readers who want something super quick and who are mainly looking for pure erotica.
I hope I get to read something more from the author, I want to give them a second chance before I make up my mind further.

Cute read!
A short but good read.
Gage was possessive and dominant but not in an abusive way. I loved the dynamic between him and Estella. The slight bdsm scenes weren’t over the top and drawn out. They were passionate and in no way felt forced like a lot of so called “bdsm” romances you fine on ku. There was a decent amount of drama but it didn’t take up pages and pages. The “daddy” aspect was the perfect amount of alpha without coming across as weird and exaggerated.
Estella was great as well. I didn’t like how she was a doormat for her stepmother, but having been raised in that environment and still being monetarily attached to her, it was understandable why she put up with it. It’s clear her stepmother played a huge important roll in her glowing career. I loved that Gage’s insertion into her life boosted her self esteem enough that she even began to speak for herself towards the end. The book was short, but the author was about to slowly but steadily build a stronger character within Estella. There was hardly any back tracking and it really made me appreciate the talent that this author has. A lot of short novels like this aren’t really able to capture love, personalities or even decent plot lines. I felt like this did a wonderful job of all of that. This is definitely a book I will read again. I look forward to other books this author has written. Highly recommend.

I first read this story when it was published in the Daddy's Demands Anthology and there were a whole bunch of different stories but this one really stuck out. It's a take on the best friend's little sister taboo romance situation. Estelle, a famous supermodel, had her entire life managed and controlled by her "agent" slash stepmother. When her rapist is released from jail, her brother sends his best friend Gage to keep her safe. When Gage see's how lost she is, he gives her the support she needs to break free of her unhappy patterns. Anyway, I really enjoyed it and definitely recommend reading.

meh, book 3 & 4 were better.
V-Card Trope, Model/Bodyguard, Daddy/Princess, No OWD or Cheating. There is a plot but it’s very transparent. If you just want some surface level Daddy smut, this will work for you. I’ve been reading this series out of order since they’re all stand-alone and while book 3 and 4 were enjoyable, this was simply okay. I don’t regret reading it and I was excited about the premise of the story. I love bodyguard romances, but this felt incomplete and shallow.
The other books had character depth and this just didn’t have that. But it was a quick read and the smut was okay.

HEROINE - Estella Trenton. Supermodel. Disenchanted with her career, would rather be the one taking the pictures. Dark hair, blue eyes.
OVERALL THOUGHTS -
In general, I enjoyed the story. It was well written and the love scenes were hot. Estella was definitely the more fleshed out of the two main characters, though there’s still some vagueness. I never could figure out how old she was supposed to be. Gage always describes her as too young for him, but she’s got to be at least 23. I also didn’t get the impression that Gage was much older than her from the context clues. I assumed he was only a couple of years her senior.
In addition to never knowing Gage’s age, we get no physical description of him other than tall and muscular. We get some insight as to why Estella has her sexual preferences, but we never get any explanation for why he has his. All in all, the vagueness in character descriptions and motivations brought this one down in my eyes. I also would have liked to know what Gage was up to in the years after her 21st birthday. Add that we only get a view 7 months into their future and you’ve got a story that’s entertaining, steamy, but ultimately unsatisfying.

Estella is a supermodel with the busiest career in the industry. Her stepmother acts as her modeling agent and is abusive, manipulative, and all around awful. Somehow Estella manages to be the sweet girl she’s always been, in spite of her stalker’s attack a year or so prior and the general nastiness of the modeling industry.
Gage has had a thing for Stella but has held himself back partly out of respect for her older brother who’s his best friend, and partly because he feels unworthy of Stella. Stella has crushed on Gage since she was a teenager but thought he hated her.
The background on Gage and Stella’s mutual pining isn’t fleshed out enough. There could have been so much more emotional development there. And it would have made Gage’s eventual capitulation Stella’s history with her stepmother is unfortunately very believable. The modeling industry is truly ugly enough to eat a person alive.
The bits about her stalker could’ve been fleshed out more as well. The big reveal at the end doesn’t add up, really.
All that said, the physical relationship between Gage and Stella was super spicy and very well done. That point alone put my rating to 2.75 stars. Not sure I’ll be continuing the series, we’ll see.

Really badly written. It’s cringy at times.
Just because you stick the word ‘daddy’ in a book doesn’t make it a proper daddy dom book. They get into a relationship and there’s no rules, no discussion about what they both want from it. Just because she read a few books and was intrigued doesn’t make her a ‘little’. Gage at one point smacks her bottom for not doing anything bad, he just feels like he should every so often. WTAF??? That isn’t a proper ddlg relationship at all!! Not sure what it is to be honest.

I really enjoyed this thrilling and also gripping read by Rory Reynolds. My first read by this author and certainly will be reading many more! A superb well written storyline and a Smoking hot read! I had to keep fanning myself! I can highly recommend this short but packed with intrigue story!

This one did not quite work for me.
The plot felt weak and underdeveloped, and I struggled to stay fully invested. There were moments where it showed potential, but overall it lacked direction and depth, which made it hard to feel engaged.
The characters were okay. I did not dislike them, and there were a few moments where their dynamic worked, but they never fully came to life for me. I wanted more development and emotional connection to really care about what was happening.
The spice was decent and probably the strongest part of the book. It was readable and did its job, but it was not enough to make up for the issues in the story itself.
The ending was where this really lost me. It felt rushed, unsatisfying, and left too many things unresolved. Instead of feeling like a conclusion, it felt like the story simply stopped.
Overall, Daddy’s Princess had a few redeeming elements, but the weak plot and especially the poor ending brought the rating down for me. Not a favorite, and not one I would revisit.

Estella Trenton is a Supermodel. Her stepmother is her manager and runs her ragged. She was attacked by a man named Steve Nelson 3 years ago. He has been released from prison early. Estella’s brother Andrew is in the Special Forces and is worried about her. He asks his best friend Gage Buchanan to protect Estella. He owns his own security firm since he left the military.
Estella and Gage had an amazing kiss when she turned 21. She always had a crush on Gage but he seemed to want nothing to do with her at the time. Things have changed.
Will Steve Nelson find Estella? Will Gage be able to protect Estella. Does Gage have real feelings for Estella and does Estella still have a crush on Gage?
The story was riveting from start to finish.
Estella and Gage had an amazing kiss when she turned 21. She always had a crush on Gage but he seemed to want nothing to do with her at the time. Things have changed.

The story was riveting from start to finish.

I really enjoyed reading this is a splendid quick-read romance. It is about a young woman (Estella aka Stella) and her fear of a stalker (Steve Nelson) who is let out of jail on a technicality. Her brother (Andrew, who is in the special forces) contacts his best friend (Gage) to guard her not realizing that Gage is obsessed with her and is determined to claim her for his own.
There is: a greedy controlling stepmother (Bridgette), twists & turns, intrigue, paparazzi, rumors, distaste, dislike, memories, interviews, anger, declarations, disbelief, confrontations, some spanking, warnings, contentment, deceit, betrayal, greed, law enforcement, happiness, love & some steam.

The book starts off with the h finding out her stalker was released
from jail after 3 years when he was given a 20 year sentence. He
was released two weeks prior on a technicality and she was never
told about it. Her brother sent his best friend to protect her. The H
left the army two years prior and opened a personal security
business.
"From the moment I first saw her, I wanted to claim her. Make her
mine."
The h: "I know what I would do if I weren’t a model. I would be a
photographer. I would capture pictures of the world."
Overall, this short story was a quick, interesting read. Didn't get boring and had a couple villains.

This is a quick novella about a model and her bodyguard, who is her brother’s best friend. She’s had a crush on him since she was a teenager, but he kissed her once on her 21st birthday and then left her alone. I think she should have given him more grief about that, and made him work harder to win her over, but it’s a nice quick smutty read that still has a plot.
It seemed familiar when I started reading it, and then after I was done I realized it was in an anthology I read several years ago.

Could be better
This book is great if you are looking for a fast paced story. The relationship between the two characters did move a bit too fast for me but I wasn't upset. I however, wish we got more of them and could see a longer story of their relationship progressing from sorta friends to lovers.
It would've been really cool to have a longer epilogue. Overall the book moves really fast and is very predictable but it was a good book for me to read in between my other books.

THIS BOOK WAS SOOOO CUTE. But don’t let that fool you. My favorite part was when he was possessive and didn’t take anyone’s shit and I love bodyguard romances so when I saw it was a bodyguard romance WRITEN BY Rory Reynolds I new I had to read it and she came in clutch. The smut and spice in their book was AMAZE BALLS and it came so hard. I loved it so much . And I love when authors can make it short with a good plot so I was so happy when I read in in an hour and a half Mabie even less.

Estella is a model who is being pressured by her stepmother manager. She can't eat what she wants and is being worked to death. Gage steps in to be her bodyguard after her stalker is released from prison. Things escalate quickly and he wants her to call him Daddy, but he doesn't act like a typical Daddy Dom. She's sweet and innocent and they are drawn to each other. He protects her when she needs him most. 3.5 stars

This was exactly what I needed at the moment.
Quick read that burned fast but didn’t feel forced or rushed.
The characters knew each other at the start and all the background happened at the same time, fed in little bits rather than a slow build up to “mine”.
No angst between the main characters. All plot conflict comes from outside (the thing that brought him back into her orbit). I love when our characters are rock solid once they accept their feels.
