The Devil's Weakness
A Dark, Motorcycle Outlaw, Romantic Suspense: Blade and Sasha, Book 1 (The Devil's Skull MC)
By: Murphy Wallace
Narrated by: Angelina Rocca, Tyler Darby
This is a great start to the Devil’s Skull MC series, a romantic suspense that brings to the edge of your seat and an ending that leaves needing to know what happens next. Sasha has not had the easiest of lives, working to keep a roof over her head and taking care of her loser brother, who is mixed up with the wrong people and addicted to drugs. On her way to pick him up she clips someone riding a motorcycle, that someone is wearing the kutte of the local MC, the Devil’s Skull, she is fearful of them and freaks out, she anonymously calls 911 for help, leaves the scene, and then packs up and leaves her home. The members of the MC get the call that their VP, Iron, is down and was left in a ditch on the side of the road and they vow to get the person responsible. Blade has had a thing for Sasha from the moment he looked in to her eyes after she stumbled on something she was not supposed. Nothing happened then, but he watched her from a distance and when it was her name that pops up as the person who called 911, he knew he was the one who would have to get her. She may have been on the run, but it did not take him long to track her down. His feelings for her are as strong as ever, but she hurt the one person who meant so much to him, the one who looked out for him when no one else did. He can also see how hard of a life she has had, and can relate as if they were kindred spirits, maybe even soulmates. There is never a dull moment in this book, the story is fast-paced with plenty of drama, angst, some twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance.
🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Angelina Rocca and Tyler Darby did an amazing job bringing these characters to life and did so with a complete understanding of who they were portraying, giving each a voice that fit that characters persona sounding believable in every role they played. Rocca nailed it as Sasha, grasped her every emotion and had you feeling every single one. Darby played Blade as the perfect bad boy biker that he was. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters too. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to.
