Sasquatch 10: MoMo-The Leavenworth Encounters

Rate this book
A hostile entity makes itself known on a military base. The base itself does not host combat troops. It is home to an officer's college, a national cemetery and the military penitentiary for all branches of the service. An interesting mix that leaves the safety of the base in the hands of the military police. A young military policeman, Lance Young, finds himself in the midst of a real life nightmare, while trying to navigate the other aspects of his life. The thing he encounters only wants one thing, food. But along the way, the monster takes so much more. Lance never thought that being in the military in peace time could be so dangerous. The Leavenworth encounters describes a military base under siege, with orders to not panic the general public and not give credence to a mythical creature. Only problem is, this myth kills and does it efficiently and with impunity. Can the reality on base be contained?

Very good book

This book continues as a great read as do the rest of the series.

The writer makes the weather cold, I got a blanket, and the characters are realistic.

Another awesome Bigfoot story

I am really hoping there is a sequel to this. I really enjoyed this story. Liked the fact that MoMo was the creature. So few stories have MoMo. It kept me reading all the way through it in one sitting. Keep up the great stories involving bigfoot. I have enjoyed them all.

The “nightmare” will NEVER be over for those who reside in BF country!….

Another awesome read by author Jeffrey Miley!
I can never say enough positive things about these fantastically creative books.
Sasquatch 10: MoMo - The Leavenworth Encounters is one of the best thus far. (The 1st book & another one involving a scar canyon being the other greats, sorry I cannot remember the Book # of the latter. ??)
Anyway — overall, MoMo, like the other stories is shockingly & delightfully complex, creative, emotionally & character driven, & extremely well written. I say, “shockingly,” as too many “creature books” are cranked out toward publication solely focused on the horror factor. At a loss to almost all else.
Miley is a master of this genre. He is clearly very experienced in writing stories which authentically offer a good helping of the creep factor. As well as engaging & professionally executed writing.
I cannot recommend his Sasquatch Adventures series highly enough to readers who enjoy books across a spectrum of genres.
(But …. jeez. It’s magazines, not “clips.” I’m a bit surprised in Miley here. But one faux pas (or outright error ;) in 10 books thus far is easily forgiven! Lol!)
Go ahead & dive in; get to know this MoMo & his human & other animal “friends.”
You’ll be thrilled you did!

Oh my gosh I loved this book. I didn't want it to end but everything turned out alright. I think you would enjoy reading this book because it's lots of chapters with difference peoples views of what is happening at Ft. Leavenworth. They all work together in some of the chapters and it moves along smoothly. Please give it a chance because this guy is a really good writer. In fact, I have already started on his next book. GIVE IT A CHANCE, you'll be glad you did.
