Rehashed and copied. Most of the stuff in this book is already described in others and a couple of times it felt like copied from other peoples work. It’s a long advertisement for his coaching course.

Per the title, The Effective CEO, Byron Morrison provides strategies and actionable tips to becoming a better leader in your company. However, with many of these strategies designed to help improve time management and determine priorities, you don’t have to be at the top of your business to benefit from the lessons. In fact, Morrison emphasizes the importance of these skills for both your business and your personal life. After all, if you can free up hours you would normally spend working you can add in other activities like spending time with family or doing a hobby in order to create a more rounded lifestyle. Due to the concise nature of the writing, The Effective CEO is an overall easy read, and paired with his video series “Next Level Mindset”, it allows readers to learn strategies quickly and begin implanting them into their everyday life.

This guide was truly God sent as it was much needed to me. Wanting to be efficient in my work has always been a top priority to me but aiming to the level of a CEO seemed so difficult to accomplish. Luckily, this book provides plenty of information to guide you into thinking and working efficiently just like a top CEO. It’s short and simple enough that is easy to read and implement yet it covers helpful tips to help you prioritize and focus on the work that’s actually important.
I genuinely enjoyed the practicality of all these tips and will certainly start implementing them right away. While some may seem simple, they are easily overlooked in the day to day and this book does a great job in highlighting their use. Managing tasks and time can be such a daunting job which is why many people either feel intimidated by CEOs or admire their ability to do these. In either instance, they get the job done. I highly enjoyed this book so I recommend it a lot.

Byron Morrison is a mindset and high-performance strategist who helps CEOs feel less overwhelmed. In this book, he offers actionable steps to become a more effective decision maker and leader. The focus is on emotional control/mindset and performance. The first thing that Byron mentions is focusing on what’s important and better time management. Better time management may require a change in perspective with how we currently spend our time. We have to focus on where our time yields the greatest return. Then, we’ll have to learn to delegate the rest of the tasks that need to be done. This is also where planning becomes so important. This book offers not only this helpful information but so much more valuable information as well.

This is the perfect book for the CEO, a high stress, demanding job that be extremely challenging; even overwhelming at times, as anyone who has ever served as a CEO of a large company can attest.
The Effective CEO was written by behavior change coach, Byron Morrison who also wrote, Become a Better You. Byron addresses so many of the specific concerns faced by CEOs, a position that typically demands working long hours and having to make tough decisions that affect everyone within the company, even the future and success of the company itself!
I highly recommend this book for anyone who is or wants to be a CEO. There is so much tremendously valuable information here about managing time, delegating or outsourcing tasks and many other issues a CEO can expect to face.

A great coaching mentoring book
This is ny 2nd time reading Byron Morrison book and this is straight forward and straight to the point.
Very easy to read and use to implement strategies needs as a CEO.
But you don't have to be a CEO of a multi million dollars company. The coaching information in this book is equally good for a home or for a charity organisation. It also a must for students who are learning the business world.
But overall I throughly enjoyed reading this amazing non-fiction book.

Some days I feel like I’m on a hamsters wheel, actually that speaks of most days. Some are calm collected and efficient, while some days the to-do list is long and my fortitude is short! The Effective CEO is an excellent book that will help you come back to center and stabilize your efforts. Once you’re grounded, the author goes on to teach methods and strategies to prioritize and focus. I highly recommend this book, it’s an wonderful resource.

If you are a boss and struggle with yoir own business then this book is for you. I have always dealt with poolr time management and i always feel like im falling behind in my business. This book is short and easy to read which is great for our busy lives. It focuses on strategies to help get all you can out of your time and not be left feeling drained and unproductive.

This is a short, concise, and straight-to-point book on how to efficiently maximize the growth of your company using the proven 5-point strategies of business to place. One of the things I find quite interesting about this book is that when taken out of place, listed in this book is solid advice you could implement in certain other aspects of life, e.g., school. This was a nice read.
