I almost died laughing and I almost died because the hubster was getting progressively more annoyed that he was trying to watch something serious on TV and I was snorting like a pig next to him

5 Star Review of Summer Rebound (Dating Season #2) by Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee
The second installment in Chloe’s search for love. After the failure with Finn in the first book I couldn’t wait to see what Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee had in store. The story was entertaining and you cannot help but become invested in the story that they wove.
There was witty banter, humour and steam and although not particularly long you will be drawn in. Having moved in with Austin, Chloe is determined that the feelings she has for him are ignored and so the search continues for love.
Unfortunately having moved in with Austin it also means that she has to deal with his girlfriend being a frequent visitor to the home. There were moments where I was laughing and moments when my heart almost broke for Chloe as she struggled with her feelings for Austin.
When Charlotte, chooses Dune Hunter, a biker who is also an accountant, Chloe is ready to try again. I liked Dune, he was sweet and has some kink to him, which I liked. I also liked that he drew out the fun side to Chloe with some interesting results.
Will Chloe’s second attempt at dating be more successful than her first? Could Dune be the one to set her world on fire?

A brilliant dose of sarcasm, wit and naughtiness that will make you laugh and cry( mostly from too much happiness but also from some true deep moments).
On the latest endeavour of Chloe to find a handsome and attractive soul mate and to get over her unrequited crush on her best friend aka roommate Austin, she finds herself at a biker bar with tattooed biker bad boy Dune. While she is excited and channelling her inner bad girl, Dune may not be the one she is looking for.
So let me tell you my real emotions about this story. PHASE ONE: I am so happy for Chloe!! Go girl!! A bad boy is exactly what you need to get out of this dating funk. And Dune is so crazy sexy bossy awesomeness! Show Austin what he is missing! I proud of you girl!
PHASE TWO: Ok Chloe why are you getting so many negative thoughts about this biker god? I admit he has a difficult lifestyle and a lot of adjustment for a homebody or a nerdy shy girl but look at this guy getting turned on by numbers and spreadsheets. Chloe, you need to do some research because as a MC romance expert, I can tell you all the awkwardness is worth it. Give it some real chance. Also Austin and his girlfriend need to back down. Is he jealous? And is Lucy honestly helping her?
PHASE THREE: Ohhhhk. Ok. Ok. I think it's time for me to remove by Dune coloured glasses and accept that it's not a match made in heaven. ( or in a dating app). After all romance books stereotypes don't really match in real world.Chloe baby, I am so happy that you stopped the ball from rolling too far and made your choice clear! This is a milestone for you! I am sad for her. I am. Because it's another failed experiment and she is alone but fear not, more seasons to come. And Austin, make up your mind.

Chloe is back for her summer rebound and Dune is tattooed biker with all the bad boy vibes. This book had me laughing throughout a majority of it and Chloe’s dating life watching a reality dating show and I am living for it!
The moment Chloe and Dune meet there is an instant attraction between and no shortage of chemistry between them. However, there is something off about Dune that Chloe can’t pinpoint for the longest time…then she meets Coco. I loved the fact that Chloe was getting ideas from MC romances and even using the lines on Dune, it was priceless.
Chloe’s dating adventures are quickly becoming my favorite thing and I am looking forward to see what is in store for her next!
If you like plenty of laughs, a hot tattooed biker, plenty of lists and some adventures this is definitely one to check out!

I’m loving these Dating Season instalments from Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee.
This pair are fantastic authors in their own right but together they form a wonderful writing duo where you have no idea who writes what and that’s a sure sign of a great team. The story is entertaining and full of witty banter as well as some seriously hot moments and I’m sure like me you will be left excited for the next instalment.
Chloe has moved in with Austin but that means having to deal with his girlfriend being a frequent visitor to the home, so determined not to rock the boat she decides to keep looking for love.
This time around it’s an accountant who is also biker that catches her eye so will Chloe’s second attempt at dating be better than her first...
I really like Dune the biker, he made me smile as well as bringing out a side to Chloe we haven’t seen, he was sweet and hot and I loved the attention he gave to Chloe. This quick read packs a mighty punch and it certainly ticked all my boxes, I laughed, I giggled and I swooned as I watched Chloe find out her date with the friends of friends dating app. Looking forward to the next instalment.

Chloe’s moving on after the disaster that was Finn, but is now living with Austin, as room mates, it’s not been as easy as she thought living with her crush, especially when his girlfriend is around all the time.
Her bestie Charlotte sets her up on a blind date with Dune, he seems to tick all the boxes when they meet, albeit in a bikers bar! He’s built, sweet with plenty tattoo’s what’s not to like! Then the fun’s starts.....
From Jello wrestling to hiking and camping, freaky cats and some freakier bedroom antics this may be too much for Chloe.
Plenty chuckles along the way with this, Laurelin and Kayti yet again bring us a fun read. Bring on Fall Hard.

Everything about this book had me loving it. From Dunes tattoos (including tattoo Jesus), to the Jello-wrestling, to the mysterious Coco. Plus, I love been in Chloe’s head; her wit is unmatched.
And also, Austin starting to drop hints that he might feel the same way as Chloe. Def a great continuation to the series.

I am loving this series so far and I love Chloe so much! After her romance with Finn ended in the spring, Chloe has decided to go on a blind date that her friend Charlotte set up for her. Chloe arrives at a biker bar to meet up Dune a friend of a friend. When Chloe meets Dune, they have instant chemistry, he's a biker and also an accountant. What I loved about Chloe was that she did things she normally wouldn't to just experience them and see if she could get into them. With Dune being a biker, their summer romance is quite adventurous and Chloe ends up doing a lot of new things. I liked Dune, even though he was kinky as hell and into some questionable things, he liked Chloe. I didn't like that he only liked doing his stuff and not really hers, but they had amazing sex. I liked that Chloe now lives with her crush Austin but they respect each other's boundaries even though it seems like he doesn't really like that guys she dates. Lucy, Austin's girlfriend kind of grew on me in this book, and I even think that Chloe likes her too. Even though Chloe had a great summer with Dune, things didn't quite work out the way they wanted and she's ready for the fall and everything that will come with it.

Part two in this mini-series. Each book in this six book series, features the same Heroine with a different man, as she tries to find her Mr. Right. Book one (Spring Fling) featured the gym rat, this book features the biker bad boy. Dune may be a member of an motorcycle club, but he has a sweeter side to him... but oh does he haves some kinks. Chloe is a bit of a homebody, and not all that adventurous, but she's trying to be more daring and doesn't have a too horrible of a time doing all the high octane events Dune has planned for her. She's a bit self-depreciating, and you feel sorry for her in some ways, because she tries so hard to be the person the men want her to be, but she is also smart enough to know, it will never last long-term if she isn't true to herself. There are many laughs. This is a light-hearted read. It is written from her POV. While this is part of a collection, each book can be read as a stand alone, except they don't have HEA endings (yet.) Its not that they end with a cliffhanger, it just ends when the relationship ends with a 'to be continued,' while we wait for the another fellow to come along in the next installment. There is a lot of sexual content that is suitable for mature readers. This is a novella, so it reads quite quickly, and easily.

Chloe continues her journey to be brave and try new things in this incredibly entertaining, witty, and steamy second episode of the Dating Season series! Chloe's friend Charlotte picks out a tattooed, sexy biker for her next date. She is nervous at first, but she had never gone for a bad boy before, so she jumped in with both feet and landed in a pool of jello. But hey, she was being brave! She connected with Dune right from the start with his sexy lip ring, tattoos, love of lists, and mathematical statistics, what could be hotter? Dune introduced Chloe to a whole new world that her roommate, and secret crush, Austin, was not happy about. But Chloe had to learn how to love herself and discover her own likes and limits. I love Chloe with all her quirks, and her journey to grow and learn, and step out of her comfort zone. This was so hilarious, heartfelt, and sizzling hot, and I had a blast reading it! I can't wait for more of Chloe's dating adventures in episode #3, Fall Hard!

I made the mistake of starting this story late last night and almost didn't get to sleep. I had to force myself to stop 4 chapters before the end because Helloooooo, I need my beauty rest!! Seriously, I could barely stop laughing and reading. I LOVE this story! Chloe is the FUNNIEST! She's also sweet, smart and so adorable you just can't help but root her on in her pursuit of love. I feel her pain and her exaltations. I think I may want to be her! At times, my own life parallels hers...not sure I should be admitting that in a review, haha. Dune was a fantastic "bad-boy". Could we all have a Dune in our lives at some point? Even if it's just for a few months? Again, probably just asking for myself here. Seriously, this series is just a terrific read. There's always room for joy and laughter in our lives and this series brings it! Grab your copy and treat yourself to something wonderful. Episode #3, please??!!

Summer Rebound is another hilarious addition to this series. I simply can’t get enough of Chloe, her dating adventures and her laugh out loud antics. The hero this time around is a sexy and kinky biker named, Dune and he’s a hot one for sure. I’m addicted and I can’t wait to read the next novella.

After Chloe's epic fail with Finn, the millionaire hottie trainer who owned several gyms, Chloe moves in with Austin, and they become roommates. Now that she is living with the guy she is still crushing on, making it even weirder, it's time to start dating again. Charlotte uses the friends of friends app and picks out the next guy she wants to see Chloe date. Dune-Hunter is the tattooed biker who is a complete mystery with numbers. This is a laugh-out-loud, hilarious read where Chloe tries really hard to have new experiences.

Be prepared to laugh out loud for the next hour & a half (ish). Y’all Summer Rebound is ridiculously funny. Poor Chloe can’t find a hot guy with the same outlook as her but it’s so fun reading about her misadventures😂

This is the second story in Chloe’s search for love. This time Charlotte sets her up with a guy called Dune. The date begins in a biker bar…
Dune is super hot, tatted up and rides a motorbike. So far so good. After been chivalrous and holding out on anything physical until the third date - he also proves to be exceptionally talented in bed.
Dune is also an accountant for his MC and loves anything to do with numbers, especially spreadsheets, anything mathematical turns him on. In fact, it’s his favorite form of bedroom talk. He is also an adrenaline junkie and is introducing Chloe to all the things he loves.
Also, Chloe’s flatmate Austin (who she is still crushing on) seems to be getting deeper and deeper with his new girlfriend Lucy and unfortunately Chloe’s ears have been privy to some of their more intimate moments - urgh!
Chloe was loving Dune’s enthusiasm for life but there are some things that are just too far out of her comfort zone. And then there is his relationship with his precious cat, Coco. As Chloe attempts to take things to a level that is not purely sexual she begins to realise that all that hotness cannot be the be all and end all of a relationship, she needs more. Next!
There are SO many laugh out loud moments in this story, like SO many. I’m looking forward to reading more of her escapades before her and Austin realise they were meant to be, or will they?

What's a girl to do when she's looking for love and it ends badly? Well in Chloe's case she gets back on the bike and in Summer Rebound she does exactly that. Enter Dune. Bad-boy biker with a good guy heart. Lover of lists, spreadsheets, tattoos, and pussy. He is everything Chloe could want but he's not Austin her roommate who she secretly lusts after. Things are going well until Chloe finds herself in some uncomfortable situations and starts to question her feelings for Dune. Did I mention he's a lover of pussy and in this case, it's his precious kitty cat Coco. Evil doesn't describe Coco. She's not happy sharing her 'daddy' with Chloe and Chloe's not happy sharing that term with Dune. Their relationship is doomed and so Chloe is once again alone wishing she had what Austin and Lucy have which appears to be the perfect relationship. I'm not so sure about that and I'm not a lover of Lucy she interferes too much for my liking. But that's beside the point. Summer Rebound is beyond funny. Some of the situations Chloe gets herself in are hilarious. If you want a quick read and will keep you smiling from start to finish this is one for you. It is a little sad too because will Chloe ever get her HEA? We will have to wait and see.

Summer Rebound was definitely a wild ride!!!
I love the whole concept of this series of novellas! Each season we are getting to watch Chloe navigate the dating world on her journey of trying to get over her crush on her friend, Austin. These stories are not only funny but holy smokes there is a lot of steam. I find myself cheering for the guys Chloe is dating until I don't. LOL!
In Summer Rebound, Chloe is set up with Dune, a tatted up bad boy who is in a biker gang. Learning what Dune does for a living made me burst out laughing as did his relationship with his beloved cat and his obsession with spreadsheets. I was dying at the things Chloe said to turn him on. LOL! This relationship didn't seem destined to last but it was sure a fun ride! What I love most is that Chloe is learning more about herself. She is growing as a person! It is also interesting to see what Chloe's dating life is bringing out in Austin.

Chloe steps out of her comfort zone for this one, a tattooed biker. Dune takes Chloe to places she has never been. Always pushing the limits. Still trying to get over her attraction to Austin Chloe tries her hardest to make it work with Dune. Now living with Austin Lucy is constantly around and it pushes Chloe to live life to the fullest and stray outside her comfort zone. Although snide remarks are made form Austin makes you think that maybe he too is fighting feelings for Chloe. Also, I really do not trust Lucy. Does she sense a possible attraction between Austin and Chloe? Austin also has Chloe’s back. He does not like Dune. Aside from this, this story had me laughing so hard. From her reciting quotes from MC romance novels, she has suddenly started reading, her spreadsheets, Dune’s love of anything numbers, and finally COCO. Wondering who will catch her attention next is what keeps me coming back for more. With each new match Chloe learns more about herself and comes out of her shell a little bit more each time. Kudos to Laurelin and Kayti for creating this fun series that will have you coming back for more.
