I'm a snarky Jersey Woman who dreamed of one day becoming an Author. I write Romance with bigger than life characters who have to dodge every obstacle I gleefully throw in their paths. Somehow my characters also find time for steamy fun on their way to their HEAs.

I'm an avid reader, engineer, photographer, and a proud Bi woman. My life is a journey that I hope never stops in one place too long. I fill it with love and laughter whenever possible and when I can't, I pull out my clue by four and use it with deadly precision.

Good thing this one was only $.99 cents when I bought it. 🗣 Honestly, with the CONSTANT plot and character continuum errors, and the Author's inability to use "Then and Than" in the proper context, in ALL of the first 3 books, these books SHOULD NOT BE $6 dollars for purchase. The Editors and Betas and ARC readers seriously need to stop being "YES FOLKS" and tell this author where she needs to improve/correct things, before these books are released. I just can't reconcile asking folks to pay for such lazy writing, with these prices...

Examples you say?? Okay, well my reviews for books 1 and 2 will tell you the issues there, but here, let's see 🤔 right at the start, chap 2 of this book we're all of a sudden being told that Hawk, their club president is in his early 50s.. Books 1 and 2 state more than once he's early 40s.. Also the timelines of the pregnancies here don't line up at all with the timeline of the happenings in each book. So far the books pick up pretty close to one another. One moment they aren't that far along or not even showing. But in the span of just a few weeks, they're ready to pop or are actually going into labor🙄 I guess basic arithmetic is a struggle here as well..

Hey, I'm not sorry for my grievances here. I've earned this right to voice such things for 3 simple reasons: 1. I love the characters and the premise for this series overall. I feel this Author is very talented in her story telling, she just needs structure and REAL/HONEST constructive criticism to keep her on point with the story she is trying to tell. A folder 📂 to refer back to and help her keep track of the characters' facts that she has created, wouldn't hurt either.

2. I paid with my time and my wallet to read these books.

3. I have to be honest with future purchasers and readers, so they'll have an honest review about what they are considering buying with their time and money.

Now, all that being said, let's get to why this 3rd book was not my full cup of tea 🍵 shall we?

Tek.. he's a complicated guy. One that had intrigued me from the moment I met him in book one. Billionaire Tech Assassin who also happens to be in a Biker MC? That's new psychedelic catnip as far as I'm concerned. Unfortunately, when we get to Tek and his story, he doesn't live up to the hype. Not his fault. He was written to remain on the surface. No real deep insight to what truly makes this guy tick. Even by the end of this book, I still don't know who this man is.. It also doesn't help that Angela took center stage here. This was her book not Tek's. We got way more layers to her, and her world and the people (namely Jojo), that surrounds her. And her history and the main threat was all about her. BECAUSE OF HER! Tek and his company and his own involvement was honestly written as an after thought. I mean with all the money he's spent over the years on a very personal matter he made no progress.. But BAM! Literally 3 days after knowing Angela, she figures it out for him.. This was a MAJOR thing regarding Tek too...

And another thing, isn't Tek supposed to be the God of all things tech security and hacking? I mean this is what is constantly stressed about him in books 1 and 2.. So tell me why him and his team couldn't figure why or how his programs were being breached for his clients, but Angela shows up and literally was only working there for 2 days, as an intern, and she figures it out?

Really, this book made Tek look like he was incompetent and we were lied to about his skills/knowledge and genius. I mean he's toted as the MCs main source of info and protection in all things digital world! He even tricks out the women's tracking devices so the club can always be able to locate them.. Yet with his billion dollar business he can't seem to get a handle on the issues there? For almost a year?! Yeah I was not buying this mess with cash or credit. Nope.

Which this is all just unfortunate. Disappointing. And due to all the spy hacking and deep researched espionage, (which I loved BTW) Tek and Angela's chemistry suffered. They had two, TWO real encounters here with one another. Everything else was always just written in as after the fact. Or in the beginning, just teasers.. You see NOTHING to make you think these two are really into one another. Let alone want to commit to one another..

This book was clearly just a filler book. It's premise and execution were done completely different from what you grow to like and even love, regarding the first two books. The things that kept you and hooked you to return, are not present in this book. At all.. I was honestly more interested in the subplots here, and the setting up of Max's story and the tidbit reveals we get regarding him and his past. These are the ONLY things that got this book to a 3 🌟 read for me. Otherwise it would have been 2 🌟..

Since these books are not on KU, bummer, you must purchase them outright to read. And again, for this type of writing I mentioned above, technical and otherwise, $5.99 is asking too much for these. But since I already bought books 4 and 5 based off of my feels for books 1 and 2, I'll at least be reading those.

If the writing was tighter with plot flows, and edited properly these books would be well worth their asking price.

Based on books 1 and 2, I would say give this series a try. It is addictive. But, wait until they go on sale before you get them. 💯

The Dark Sons are back and this time we get Tek and Cami’s story!

How could one person challenge him mentally, reignite his passion to make a difference and tempt his body?

I loved this line because it comes full circle after Tek described his perfect woman in the previous book. He thought it would be a tall order to fill, finding a woman he was not only physically attracted to but could match him mentally and embrace his kink. Little did he know, Cami was just waiting to come at him :)

I am forever grateful the author didn’t make me wait an eternity for the third book because after blinding stumbling across book 1 (and loving it) I devoured book 2 (and loved it) so I was anxiously awaiting book 3. It’s not a surprise based on my rating but I loved this one too.

If you haven’t given this author a shot, please do! The Dark Sons series is about an exhilarating group of characters that you’ll instantly love. Each book has it’s own amazing couple and unique story line. They can be read as stand-alone books, but trust me, you’ll want more after that first taste 😊

Tek and Angela first meet, when she is dancing at the Dark Son’s strip club, as her alter ego, Cami. A socially awkward and painfully shy woman, Angela needs her alter ego, Cami, to put herself out there. Stripping was a therapeutic way to gain confidence and it seems to work when she first lays eyes on Tek because all her inhibitions fly out the window and she’s able to really let her wild side out to play.

But there’s more than meets the eye when it comes to Angela, who’s an orphaned heiress and a top hacker and computer genius, whose sought after by multiple government agencies. Throw Cami in the mix and Angela has a full plate.

That only gets fuller when she finds out Tek is also her new boss and that she’s been flagged as a person of interest in the hacking of his company’s security programs.

I was hooked from page one. I honestly can’t resist the shy heroine and the alpha Hero who falls for her and Ann Jensen gave me all that and then some with Tek and Cami.

Cute wasn’t a quality that Tek would have thought of as desirable, but everything about her worked for him.

It wasn’t your typical cliché heroine and hero either. Cami and Tek are each great characters on their own, but together they are perfect. They flowed well, they had off the charts chemistry, not only in the bedroom *fans self* but also outside the bedroom. These two were compatible on every level and each time you saw that, it made their story that much richer.

Their odd bits mixed into a perfect combo of crazy.

I feel like I’m on a reading high because I honestly didn’t think that any other Brother would be able to top Sharp but than I met romantic AF Dragon and I was like, okay, I can love them both equally because there’s no way I can choose between them, right? And then AJ gave me Tek . . .

He is as bad ass as Sharp and as romantic as Dragon when it comes to Cami. Yes, he has his moments when he goes caveman and tries to sacrifice himself for Cami without actually asking Cami how she feels/thinks, but like the strong and independent heroine that she is, Cami isn’t shy about setting her man straight and she does it like only a true Dark Son lady can!

She was kind and ruthless, innocent and jaded, most of all brilliant and naïve. No single word or idea could hold the complexity that was this woman.

This is book three of the Dark Sons series but each story has it's own couple and if the first 3 books are any indication, each couple will have their own brand of kink to explore which is something I'm definitely looking forward too. There are so many possibilities and so many yummy characters that need their own book. Highly recommend!

Favorite Moments/Quotes:
Pixie and the Old Ladies embracing Cami (and Jojo!) while also messing with the Prospects 😊
“I think hanging with the Old Ladies should be required hazing for every Prospect.”

Cami finally warming up to having girlfriends she can really talk to. The whole scene where they ask her to spill the deets about what her and Tek have been up to the last few days was priceless!
“If I had to pick, I guess my favorite is slave girl and master because we can work almost anything into that.”

I loved Jojo! Cami was lucky to have a friend like Jojo in her corner. Another character I fell in love with!
“Woman. Man. I am both and neither, so if you need a girlfriend right now, that is who I am. The internet can mind its own business.”

I loved the instant attraction these two felt for each other. It never fails make me go warm and melty when the Hero finds all the heroine’s quirks cute, adorable and endearing. It’s a sign their meant to be, lol!
Where had the sleek coordinated seductress gone? Tek found he liked this awkward, shy version of her almost as much.

The tiny stutter, which gave away her nerves, was adorable.

I couldn't put this down!

This was a rollercoaster! It's the story of Angela, a young hacker who tries to gain some experience by takings strip shows. While she doesn't need money, she also begins to intern at a company, hoping to work for a good cause she believes in. Imagine the surprise when the man she connected with at the club is her new boss. But there's more! So much more! This is just the start of the craziness their lives turn into, in come his MC brothers, friends, kidnaping and the works.

This book was so well written, I couldn't stop reading it, the moment I though things settled something else came up. And it was all well paced, there are quick scenes and serene scenes where you get to know the characters more. The hot scenes are very heated, however they are more on the dark side, so be advised.

There's been so long since I've read a book like this, keeping you on your town, not by mystery but by sheer amount of details invented to move the story in surprising directions. After the hurtful thing he did Tek didn't seem that extraordinary, though still a great character. But Angela / Cami is just fantastic, with how smart and empathetic she is, naïve and ruthless, how cute she is and how well she takes care of her self after the past she had.

This is, by any means, not a clean romance. But also, not way too violent for an MC book. It's dirty, it's dark heated, it's smart, it's fast, it's awesome!

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

Great read!

Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Trope: opposites attract
Angst: 😱😱
Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥
Triggers: none

This was a really great read! A little more highbrow than most MC reads I've read. It got pretty in depth on some interesting topics. I really enjoyed both characters and the storyline definitely had enough twists and turns to keep me hooked to the end. This was my first read by Ann Jenson, but definitely won't be my last!

Here our heroine is much more badass than in Bourbon Bliss. A hacker by trade, sexually inexperienced Angela wants to explore her wants and needs and the type of man that can fulfil them by dancing in the strip club of the Dark Sons MC. Here she meets Tek who also turns out to be her new boss' boss. There are kidnappings, rescues, electronic espionage and a good bit of sexual role playing in this book. Although Tek "saves" our intrepid heroine, he does assume he is much more important to her safety than he really is. Angela is fully capable of saving herself. I do loved the HEA in this book!

Angela is a computer genius who is also socially awkward and decides to expand her horizons by working at night at t strip club. She meets Tek and believes he will be the one to teach her and become more sexually experienced. What will happen when she shows up for her new day job and she discovers Tek is the CEO? Fast paced read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters and a steamy entertaining read. I liked it.

Grovel = H accuses h of attacking his business (hacking) and physically goes after her until she uses "safe" code to set off alarm. h was super genius computer hacker that had severe social anxiety so therapy suggested she act like someone else to cope, ergo - stripper who can act as various personas while performing. In this instance, H had h in back room for private dance, had handcuffed her to the pole, was interrogating her, h had been told the scenario was that she was a spy, when H asks if she had "spied" on his company and she said she did (part of role playing in her mind). H gets super scary and starts menacing the h, h calls out safe code which causes alarms to go off and security runs in. h proceeds to get away from H by refusing his calls/texts, quits her job at H company and plans to move. H admits to himself that he wasn't sure how far he would have gone if h had not called for safe code.

So what's the grovel? h gets kidnapped after being arrested for fabricated murder charges by government agent. h is able to livestream her kidnapper location and H and his MC come to rescue her. So then H's actions are kind of pushed to the side and other than a verbal apology, the whole betrayal is not really resolved but H get absolved because of the kidnapping/rescue.

The betrayal was good and juicy, but the grovel lacked IMO.

MC = it's there and has a part in h's kidnapping that is revealed

I loved pretty much everything about this book. Angela is a badass computer geek and Tek is the best match for her. I LOVE the imaginative roll play kink they get up to and how everyone around them just goes with it.

If the author could have found a way to make their "drama" anything but a very easy to clear up misunderstanding (just a lazy trope for such a unique couple) which led to unfortunate behavior on Tek's part, I might have given this 5 stars.

I had been looking forward to Tek's story and I was not disappointed. Angela is a very unique character - she's brilliant and she socially awkward. Together they are magic. We also get a conclusion to Tek's missing sister which is why he started the foundation to begin with. There's so much potential for more books with other characters so I'm hoping they are coming.

Angela is a very wealthy woman and she is not comfortable in crowds. She is working as a stripper at Darklight's as Cami and this is where Tek first sees her. She offers a list for men to sign to get a private dance from her. Tek is the one who is chosen. There is a connection between them and Tek wants to see her again. She tells him that she was working again on Thursday night. The next morning, she is getting ready for her new job at Vallier Technologies as an intern. She doesn't need the money, just something to do to help people. Joshua, her drag queen friend gets her the job and he is with her on her first day. When she is introduced to her supervisor, Rick, she doesn't like him. He said some things that make her mad. She has a meeting for new hires and when she sees who the owner of the company she is shocked. Tek is the owner of Vallier Technologies and the man she danced for the night before. She knows that she can't work there now. Tek wants the new employees to introduce themself and say why they want to work for the company. Angela hopes that Tek doesn't recognize her but he does. When it is her turn, she tells him why she wants to work there. He said she had some great ideas and he would like to talk more about them after the meeting. Angela doesn't want to talk to him so when his back is turned, she leaves and hides in a supply closet. Tek finds her and he wants to know why she ran. Things happen between them and Tek can't understand why he is pulled towards her so hard. Tek has just gotten word that a beta program that his customers have been using gets hacked. He works with his top crew all night and they still haven't found out how it happened. When Angela goes into work the next morning, she is given a project to work on by Charles. This project is the GX project and she finds things that are wrong with it. Rick comes in and gets mad when he finds out that she had been working on his project. She tells him that it is full of holes and should not be put out. This makes Rick madder and he sends her home. Before she leaves, she tries to tell Tek what she found but is told he is in a meeting. That night when Angela goes to work at Darklight, she tells them that it is her last night. She doesn't plan on doing a private dance but when told that Tek is the one she would be dancing for, she decides to do it. Tek has found out that Angela had been looking at the Gx program and he plans to get the answers out of her that he wants. Angela (Cami) is told to roleplay as a spy. When she gets to Tek, he asks her some questions and she answers him. The answers are not true. He accuses her of a lot of things and she yells out her safe word for the club. She tells Tek and Clean, the club's manager that if she is not touched again, they will not hear from her again if they let her go. If not then she will bring them all down. After she leaves, Tek is told a few things about her and he is shocked to learn that she is not who he thinks she is. When Angela gets home, she goes to Joshua's and tells him what happened. He tells her what happened with work and they work all night to figure out a fix for the program. Joshua tells her that they are going to go to Vallier Technologies the next morning and have a meeting with Lisen and the HR department. Angela and Joshua are waiting for the meeting to start and in walks Lisen, and two people from HR, and Tek is the last to walk in. Once they are seated, Angela said "Let's get this over with." She passes a USB drive and folder over to Lisen and then tells her what she found and tells her where to find the fix. She also tells them who in the company wrote the program. Tek calls Kane and tells him to bring the person to his office and not to let them leave. When she and Joshua are ready to leave, Tek asks if he could talk to her. Joshua is telling her that she doesn't have to talk to him but she tells him It is fine. Tek tells her that he is sorry. She asks a few questions and he doesn't answer them. She tells him that she hopes that he finds happiness in whatever way that is for him and then leaves. An alert sounds on her phone and she looks at it and then tells Joshua that she needs to go back and talk to Tek. She doesn't get the chance. Out of the blue, men come out and try to kidnap her. Angela and Joshua fight them off along with Tek. Tek shoots one of the men who went after Angela. Angela gets under a car and that is where Tek finds her. She won't come out with a gun in her hand. Tek takes Angela and Joshua to a safe place until they can find out who is after her.
Can Tek keep Angela safe?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Captivating & Entertaining! Great Story & Listen🎧

Caught in the Dark
Dark Sons MC, Book 3
By: Ann Jensen
Narrated by: Tor Thom, Lidia Dornet

I loved everything about this book, from Ann Jensen’s wonderful writing style to the characters and storylines she created to the perfectly cast narrators who bring it all to life from the pages to your ears. This third book of the “Dark Sons MC” series, like the rest of the books, stands on its own, each book features a different club member. I highly recommend all the books, not only are they amazing, but some characters reappear in each other’s books and it is beneficial knowing their history, like seeing someone you know again. This is Tek and Angela’s story, Tek has intrigued me since he first appeared in the series, a powerful business executive who started his own security company, a billionaire who wears a suit at work and a cut while with his MC brothers. Angela, a tech genius and prodigy, she is socially awkward but has learned that role playing gets her past some of her awkwardness. After learning her love for dancing and role playing, she took a job at a strip club, not as Angela but as Cami. Cami captured Tek’s attention while dance and he wanted to meet her, which he does and the chemistry between them is electric. He is looking forward to meeting her again but was not expecting her to show up for an intern job at his company. Turns out she is a sought after computer hacker and when Tek learns someone has hacked into his company, he does not know what to think, but she is not responsible and is insulted he would think otherwise. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is an action packed, brilliantly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, mystery, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and some steamy romance. Ann Jensen, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Tor Thom and Lidia Dornet are talented narrators and versatile voice artists. They had a complete understanding of the characters they portrayed, gave each a voice that fit the character’s persona to a tee, sounding believable in every role they played and just as I pictured the characters to sound. Tor Thom played Tek with perfection, from a badass business executive to biker, to a man with a heart, Lidia Dornet’s Angela was spot on, she grasped all her sides, from her naivety & quirks to her geeky and brave side, a kinky side too. Both were great performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance. The two entertaining storytellers were a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Speaking of filling…..wait, that’s for later. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with!
Can’t say I didn’t warn you.
(Believe me when I say you won’t put it down until the last page is read…you will find yourself getting upset cause someone called, texted or bothered you while reading this one, you will find yourself up at ungodly hours just to finish it knowing you have to be at work early (like 3am early) the very next day) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
Each brother has their own story and each of the books reads as a standalone but better if you meet/know the characters from the previous books. His sister’s disappearances affected him deeply although, with age the pain has gotten less but he never going to stop looking for her believing one day they will find her alive. He started a company helping women, girl, men who have been taken or trafficked along with his brothers at the Dark Sons MC the main goal is to help. Angela is a tech. genius and alone ever since her father passed not really living just existing but has alternate personalities. Cami (Angela’s other personality) working as a stripper finding this out scares Angela. Tek feels like he is living two separate lives one as the CEO of his company and the other brother to Dark Sons MC. He meets Cami (not Angela) while she was dancing the attraction was instant and chemistry was intense neither of them could ignore the magnetic pull. She is hired on at Vallier Technologies after discovering loopholes in the programs and everyone knows how dangerous she is Tak ignoring this fact, will she hurt him at some point, there is so much more to Angela is it an act or real, is she in trouble if so with/from whom, will we find out what happens to his sister and is there a happiness for these two?

Angela aka Cami an extremely anti social very easily panicked and anxious personality but a computer genius of mega capabilities with endless knowledge. Joseph aka Tek is the CEO of a big security firm and a billionaire to boot plus he is a bad boy biker and the secretary of the Dark Sons MC. Angela is sexually inexperienced and is socially inept and her therapist has encouraged her to maybe roll play to overcome her social anxieties. She has decided to maybe help with her anxieties and social ineptitude’s to research what a man wants in a woman - she has decided to work a couple of nights a week at a strip club to act out some role playing of some of her fantasies. This is where she meets Tek. She captures him, his interest, and lust, his everything from his first sight. Her best friend gets her a job at Tek’s security firm, although she doesn’t know he is the CEO, until the first day on the job and she is just mortified. She knows she is going to be fired because of her after hour job. It doesn’t take long with her computer skills and knowledge she discovers discrepancies but before she can take it to Tek he accuses her of trying to destroy his company.
Eventually he discovers he is wrong in accusing her and by doing so he’s actually put her life in danger and thrown her right in the middle of the crooks that actually have been trying to capture her for years trying to get access to her skills. Now he is struggling with once she is safe, keeping her, continuing loving her, keeping her safe, and trying to claim her as his own or letting her go and keeping her out of his dangerous world of the MC. This is book three in the Dark Sons MC Series. I recommend the series. Very good stories. I received an Advance Reader's Copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest thoughts and opinions.

DNF @ 54%

I genuinely don’t understand where the author is going here…like, did she have tropes and plot devices on pieces of paper in a bowl and just draw one or two per chapter? Seriously:

Angela’s a stripper. Tek’s a billionaire tech genius. BOOM. So is Angela. She only strips to find herself. She’s actually a tech genius too who just so happens to work at Tek’s company. Keep in mind, I’m open to all of this so far…

But then there’s a corporate espionage plot, and Tek blames Angela (after seeing her twice - this all happens within 48 hours of them meeting each other) and he tries torturing/interrogating her but in a sexy way? My brain is beginning to hesitate a bit…

Angela’s rightfully hurt and quits her job but not before solving the cyber espionage overnight (that Tek and his company of tech geniuses haven’t been able to solve in a year). Oh, and Angela also finds Tek’s sister who was kidnapped as a baby because #hacker - Nevermind that Tek’s been using his billion dollar resources for this all his life and never managed it. Angela does within 48 hours. My brain is screaming at me at this point. Why are we still here?

Then BOOM. Masked men want to kidnap Angela and a secret service asshole is trying to force her to join the FBI and only Tek and his MC can keep her safe (I GENUINELY FORGOT HE WAS IN AN MC - it’s that inconsequential to the first half of this book). And now Angela’s forgiven Tek and is making out with him…mere hours after all the shit went down with him accusing her and sexually assaulting her but calling it an interrogation.

And there went my brain. It’s checked out. AND THATS THE 54% MARK.

I do not care anymore what happens to these people because they’re not people. They’re cartoon characters in some twilight zone reality. This was a mess, and not a bit of it was enough to keep me invested.

I really love Ann Jenson’s writing style. As with all of Ann Jensen’s books, this story is well-written, fast-paced, and action-packed with lots of twists and turns that keep you engaged from beginning to end. I read it in one sitting—I couldn’t put it down. There are kidnappings, rescues, espionage, angst, mystery, suspense, heartbreak, and a HEA. I love that the h is a strong intelligent woman, but shy and inexperienced at the same time.

As with the other books in this series, this one has an aspect to the story that is not my cup of tea. In order for a member of Dark Sons to “claim” his woman as his old lady, she has to have sex with him in front of at least 5 of the club members. Tek tells Cami he doesn’t share while proceeding to claim Cami in front of the entire club. You don’t share but it doesn’t bother you to have the entire club see her naked while you have sex with her? That doesn’t make sense. If you love someone you wouldn’t want other people to see them naked, and you wouldn’t want anyone else watching you have sex with each other. I have read LOTS of MC series and they all have OTT alpha males and almost all of those would never allow anyone else to see their woman naked. That being said, it didn’t stop me from being so captivated by the rest of the story that I couldn’t put the book down, and it won’t stop me from reading the rest of the series. If that kind of thing doesn’t bother you, you’ll probably love the book even more than I did.

This is the 3rd book in the Dark Sons MC series our billionaire CEO of Villiars Technology. This has such a lot thrown in, our expected love interest. This time it's Tek, who is totally thrown off kilter by the new lap dancer Cami.

But the delicious story twist being Cami is not what she seems, killer body, purple hair and the best lap, dancer in the club. But there is so much more to our Cami.

Cami turns out to be a genius computer hacker, who wanted to work for Tek, impressed with his company and credentials. Imagine their shock and surprise when they find that they have already met and she's one of the new interns at his company, dressed in high end designer clothes and black wig!

Throw in a cross dressing drag queen best friend Joshua aka Jojo and you have a new best friend character.

Their attraction is electric, Cami, impresses, even whilst nervous and her sharp mind and intelligence soon ruffles feathers with her new idiot boss. She discovers a serious safety breach and the story plot has a huge shock twist to reveal Teks story of his lost baby sister, how Cami ends up involved with the business of the dead Mitchell Thomas aka Recluse and his trafficking and sold secrets.

Cami and Teks story has you devouring the pages to do find out the mystery, the banter and wit is great as usual.

Then we have a new baby thrown in to the mix, can't wait to read the next instalment.

“Caught in the Dark” by Ann Jensen is the third book in the Dark Sons MC romance series. I had not read the other 2 books that came before this one, so I can assure you that they are stand-alone stories. Tek, the Secretary of the MC is rich, serious, protective, and hot but not looking for a relationship. Angela/Cami is a beautiful, brilliant, multimillionaire genius. She’s a kind-hearted computer nerd, and is incredibly inexperienced with men, even though she moonlights as a stripper. She and Tek have instant chemistry and a complicated relationship from the first moment that they meet.

There are lot of components and tropes into this story, so much so that it was the one thing that I didn’t very much like about the book. Every book of fiction requires you to suspend a degree of belief, because hey, it’s fiction. A few things in this one were a little too contrived for me. Despite that, I did enjoy it enough to order the prior books in the series, which should tell you something.

There weret some interesting secondary characters in this book. My favorite was definitely Joshua/Jojo. How can you not love a fabulous, multi-talented drag queen who can rock leopard print and high heels, and is also super smart with computer security?

3.624?!??! How da fudge do I rate this?!

So this was a story all about how a strippers/hacker/millionaire/stuttering shy virgins life got flipped upside down 😂😂😂🙈

She was working at a MC's (motorcycle clubs) strip joint to help her stuttering and find a way to....uh.....find herself. She ends up working as an intern with the guy she gave a private dance to and it got hot and heavy!

He blames her for being guilty of a thing when of course she wasn't. But the way he tried to get her to talk was so tear jerking because she got all her power stripped away from her and it was angsty af!!! That was the first 35%? Ish? They hadn't done the nasty bumping uglies yet yall.

Then....stuff happens yada yada and still no smexy in the hole with the pole.

We get to 95%!!!!!!! They hadnt shined each others shoes yet.....i thought it was going to be a ftb or clean read. And then whamma jamma bamma!!!!!!!!! The shy, stuttering virgin is blindfolded, taken in the clubhouse with all the members watching them scream and do the dirty dirty salsa mambo while she's a V?! Like....what?! My head was like coyote when road runner dropped an anvil on his head.

It kept my attention. It was weird. But oddly interesting. Like sauerkraut.

I'm so confused but mildy turned on. Might need to see a doctor after this book 😂🙈

So many things I enjoy and love in this book it as employee and boss theme lots of fantastic characters who are so funny independent sassy lovable! The main female character in this book is very interesting she seems like average woman living her life but things aren’t always what they seem. Very smart in multiple ways can do so much damage. The hot seems out of place biker in this story as so much going on with his work he just can’t seem to get a break. As these two kinda met there are already sparks flowing the fantasies that come up don’t think they will ever find someone who will want them like she does. Will these two be able to bring there true selfs out for each other among other things? There are lots of unpredictable shocking reveals in this book, dangerous situations, betrayal, action packed, funny moments with all the different wonderful amazing characters! The steamy scenes are some what different in this book but much enjoyed and all the women do is very entertaining! I love this series all the books amazing all by themselves and I can’t wait to read more! All the different twists in what the characters go through are some crazy stuff. I personally wouldn’t want to get on this lady bad side but you know bad guys are stupid and don’t realize the trouble they got coming their way lol I would definitely say this is page turner for sure with lots of crime!

A simply fantastic read, great characters and plot not the norm in the Dark Sons MC
Tek is like most of his brothers he had a story that had taken him down life’s path and that had been his young sister being taken when he had been a young boy and for the next twenty years ne had never stopped looking for her, believing that she was still possibly alive.
He now ran his own company that had originally started to help women and girls and men as well that had been abducted or had been trafficked and along with his brothers at the Dark Sons MC they worked to help rescue and help poor souls whenever and wherever they could.
Angela was a genius at everything to do with computers and since the death of her father had been locked away in her own personal prison until her best friend and fellow computer genius had befriended her and now JoJo was her girl/boy best friend all in one and no one messed with him.
When Tek had first met Angela at the club dancing on the pole he had known her as Cami, imagine his surprise when she had appeared as one of his new Tek sign ups even though she was far too qualified, she had secrets but not even he could have believed the life she’d lived.
Just as everything seemed to be going well for Cami and Tek after their rather rocky start she had been snatched and some of his brothers had been injured, he decides to go all noble and the Old Ladies of the Dark Son’s MC plan a few dirty tricks of their own.
Read this simply wonderful book in the series, once started it is impossible to put down!

I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the great writing.

MY gosh, this certainly had my attention and honestly thoughout the whole story it was bam, bam bam, action packed all the way. And the characters well Angela/cami was absolutely brilliant. Her mind was as sharp as a tack when it came to computers, she was a real master and nothing could keep her out of anything, and i mean anything. She was also at night working as a stripper as another personality finding out herself. As for Tek he also has two personalities one was when he was at work being the owner and CEO of Vallier Technologies and the other was that he was a brother of the Dark Sons MC, and he is still searching for his sister who disappeared when she was little..

They met while Cami was doing her dance, one look at each other and their was hot chemistry. He managed to get the lap dance afterwards, but it wasnt a lapdance he got it was something more personal. The next time they met was at Vallier Technologies, they thought she might of been a spy, but despite the fact others knew just how dangerous she really was. What follows is action, drama, and hot romance. As Angela has found loopholes in the programmes, and now someone wants her dead it seems. Tak makes mistakes, can he truely confince Angela to give him a chance!!

Honestly you dont want to miss this, its truely exciting!!This author really has outdone herself again.

OMG! This book is incredible, Angela aka Cami is a 26yr old V card carrying innocent, computer genius, stripping millionairess. Joseph aka Tek is ex military, a millionaire motor cycle club member who owns a company first set up to find kidnap or human trafficking victims. While stripping as Cami her eyes meet Tek's and the chemistry is instant and very hot 🔥
This story has a dodgy federal agent who has been the bain of Angela's life since she was 16. Company hacking and industrial espionage, a drag queen friend and neighbour, kidnapping attempt and shootout, moving to Tek's safe house in the MC's compound, an actual abduction and more shootouts. Oh and lets not forget these two love role playing and how Tek fulfills Angelas fantasy when she gives him her V card.
I can't think of words BIG enough to say how much I enjoyed this book, if you don don't buy this you will truly be missing out, 5 stars just aren't enough.

I will say, I love this series! It is nominally about a MC club, but it's rally about the interactions between the brothers and their old ladies. Tek is the computer guy. He owns a company that offers protection in it's myriad forms. Angela is a computer genius. She decides that she wants to work for his company because parts of it interests her. She is also the stereotypical computer nerd that she is uncomfortable with people. A psychologist once told her that if she is playing a role, she would be able to interact better. Because she wants to do 'research' to find out what she wants in a partner, she gets a job stripping. Her rules are no one touches her and she touches no one. She meets Tek there and then meets him at her new job as her boss. The two start to interact and the dialogue between them is hilarious. They end up with a HEA and we are all waiting impatiently for the next book. I hope it's Max's story.

Ann Jensen gives us such complex and many layered characters. Keeping us in the Darks Sons world, we catch up with Tek, billionaire owner of a tech company, and Angela, tech prodigy, part time stripper and usually the smartest person in the room. Their worlds collide when Angela occupies two spaces: a dancer in one of the Dark Sons’ Clubs and an intern position in Tek’s company. The book has a fairly complicated plot....someone is hacking Tek’s company. Could it be Angela, hacker extraordinaire and stripper? The answer to this question takes some digging and some periods of mistrust, tension and violence. Angela is such a paradox of a character...heartbreaking innocence and a mind like a steel trap. Tek is out gunned and out classed. It was fun catching up with other Dark Sons characters; however, my favorite new character was JoJo, Angela’s hilarious best friend. Ms. Jensen has created an endlessly interesting world peopled by diverse and intriguing characters.

3 1/2 Stars!
I loved Angela and the way she slipped into role playing to overcome her own personal and socially awkward behavior. Being a tech genius exploited by the government and illegal entities all her life didn’t harden her but made her all the more formidable.
Tek’s first encounter with Angel was at a strip joint where she performed as Cami. Her innate sexuality coupled with imagination with Rome playing had her quickly rising to the top performer.
I really liked the way he was affected by her and how their relationship developed.
Fast paced, sensual, and sweet with Angela’s stuttering nervous demeanor hiding the brilliant strong woman inside.
It was a top read for me until the ninety five percent mark.
Possible Spoiler Alert:
I like my book heroes to be alpha strong, protective, possessive, and jealous. Doing the deed in front of the MC brothers, tradition or not, didn’t sit right for me.

Angela is an introverted computer geek and known hacker that is trying to overcome her social phobia's by becoming someone else (Cami), a stripper in the Dark Sons MC's strip club. There she meets Tek, who is more than a biker but also owns one of the premier security firms that she just agreed to being an intern for. Things get steamy until someone tries to take down Tek's company and tries to frame it Angela. Angela fights to prove she is not responsible and find who is. Her life is put in jeopardy when everything comes to a head and the Dark Sons rescue her. There is a ton of steam, some D/s power exchange themes and lots of action to keep the book moving. Jojo is a fun, entertaining addition to the story and adds the needed humor. This is a new author to me and although its book 3, it is not necessary to read the other 2 in order to understand and appreciate this book. I will definitely be going back and picking up the first two books in the series.

I literally binged listened to the first three books, and I loved it. With each instalment, the series gets better and better. Ann Jensen is a talented writer, captivating her readers/listeners with her incredible stories and characters. Caught in the Dark is brilliantly written, well-plotted, raw, steamy, gritty, and suspenseful with the right amount of danger, drama and dark elements. Tek and Angela are authentic, multilayered, complex characters with genuine emotional depth. Their journey is quite riveting, and their connection is palpable and passionate with blazing chemistry. I enjoyed every minute of it!

Outstanding narration by Tor Thom and Lidia Dornet. They slipped into each character, portrayed the nuances of the personalities, and breathed life into them. They definitely made the story even more engaging and enjoyable. Caught in the Dark is a terrific addition to the Dark Sons MC series, a must listen, and one I'm highly recommending.
