Demon, the man that trounced through hell and made it back. Weary, he was ready to give up the fight. But when a spunky woman crosses his path, suddenly, his life has purpose. When Sofia is left for dead, Demon saves her and he knows he can’t let her go. Do or die, he’ll fight for her to the end.
Sofia knows Demon is not a one-woman kind of man, but she can’t resist him and is soon swallowed whole and consumed by him. Even though she can’t trust him. Even though he breaks her heart. Yet after a vicious attack he refuses to leave her bedside, and she resigns herself to the fact that she’ll always have feelings for him.
Demon needs to get out of his own way to find happiness, but can he tell Sofia all that he is and has done? More importantly, can she accept him?
I have read all of the Satan's Pride stories and loved each and every one, I've always thought of War being my favourite but now I'm taking it back, he's been relegated to being second.
Demon is the quiet one of the guys, he doesn't do relationships, but having to babysit Sofia they got close and kept it between themselves until he messed up and they broke up. When Sofia is hurt and Demon finds her, he realises a few things one of them being, he can't let her go and will do anything to make things up to her. He finally opens up and tells her all about his background thinking she would run for the hills, but she surprises him. He also has a secret that comes out to the Lady Pride, of course the brothers already know some of it.
Demon has everything, heart break and sadness, guilt and forgiveness and love, love he has for the Pride, and love he has for Sofia, and happiness and finally contentment for what he has achieved. Definitely an emotional, page turning read.
This is a first time author for me and from what I’ve read here I’ll be checking out the rest of her books in the Satan’s Pride MC Series. Demon doesn’t do relationships because he figures he doesn’t deserve it. His past is haunting him. Sofia is an attorney for the MC who Demon messes up big time with. After being left for dead Demon wants to protect Sophia and get a second chance.
This book is full of steam and heartbreak. Get them tissues ready!!
So I came across this book by chance and I have never read anything by this author. I am not going to lie and say that I don't judge books by their covers cause I do, however if I second guess on the cover I will read the blurb. So that is what hooked me. So when I started to read this book, it starts off with a bang. So I am guessing it picks up from the previous book. So this book is emotional, gritty and full of heart. We have Demon who has been through a lot at a young age. He deals with darkness on the daily and he thinks that he does not deserve anything good for fear of ruining it. Sofia is an attorney and a good one. She works for the mc and tries to keep her distance, however there is something she sees in him. They make an agreement to be friends with benefits. Now how will this end? It seems as though something drastic has to happen to pull the blinders off. It is intense and so profound. I am glad that they find the great love they can have. This is such a good book and I will be definitely reading the others too.
This is a first time author for me and this book was in the middle of the series. I really enjoyed the path of Demon and Sophia, and it could be a stand alone, but I felt like I needed to go back and read the other books so I could better understand the context of their situation. This book drops you, bam, right into the middle of their story. The author gives you a bit of the backstory, but you get the annotated version of their meet and teensy part of the angst that drove them. I love that the reader wasn't taken down the predictable road but got to go along as they struggled to deepen their relationship. It was a quick pace with a lot of action and I enjoyed all the secondary characters. I took away one star because some of the situations were a bit too contrived and I would've personally loved to have read a little more of their actual conflict in the beginning. Overall a fun read and I will be exploring more from this author. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Another great book from A. G. Kirkham about the men of the Satan's Pride MC. All the guys are big handsome alpha males but when they find their true love they show their soft side which is sexy as hell! This book is #5 and is about Demon. Demon carries his grief around him like a big heavy blanket. He doesn't think he deserves to be loved because of what happened in his past. But when he meets Sofia he immediately knows that she belongs with him. When Sofia is beaten and left for dead Demon stays by her side and vows to find the person who did it. She is a lawyer as is her father and it appears that it was something that her father was involved with that made someone to get back at him through hurting his daughter. I love how close the guys are and their wives who take Sofia under their wings, and there was some very steamy action between Demon and Sofia. I recommend this book and the other books in the series. Demons have been eating at Demon's life since tragedy struck whilst he was a teenager.
Believing he didn't deserve a happy ever after, he fought his emotions when he fell in love. This is their story.
I enjoyed this book quite a bit, and loved the connection between Demon and the kids.
The sex scenes were hot and the emotional support 'Fia gave her man was exceptional. I am a little disappointed that I didn't love the book as a whole, my emotions never seemed to become fully engaged into the story.

Demons been through hell and back found purpose in living when he met Sophia, only he messed up big time. when Sophia is left for dead her savior is the man who broke her heart. desperate for another chance and the overriding need to protect her, Demon refuses to leave her side, knowing shes the one who makes his world complete he will do anything to keep her safe. but can Sophia give him another chance, even knowing his past? this is well written book 5 in the series though works well as a standalone. theres heartbreak and regrets, love and new beginnings and more!
This was an awesome story. It is the first story that I have read in the Satan's Pride series but it will most certainly not be my last. This book was exciting, emotional, and had great characters that were extremely easy to relate to. The writing was well done and the story line was easy to follow. I found myself getting drawn into the characters and the feelings and emotions they were going through. I will definitely be checking more out from this author. I received a review copy of this story from Booksirens and am leaving a voluntary honest review.
This addition to the Satan's Pride series is a page turning and emotional read. Demon doesn’t do relationships and thinks he doesn’t deserve love because of his past. After watching over Sofia and them getting closer, he messed things up and they broke up. When Sofia is beaten and Demon finds her, he’s doesn’t leave her side, he’s determined to protect her, and will do whatever it takes to make it up to her. Will Sofia give him another chance? Read and find out for yourself, you won’t regret it. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I am obsessed with this series and the men of Satan's Pride! The Lady Pride are good too, but I love the brotherhood and camaraderie the most. Demon's story is just as heartbreaking as the other brothers, but he finds a light in Sophia, the sassy lawyer who represents the Pride. And during Demon and Sophia's story, I do believe we meet Saint's saving grace. Looking forward to it!

I love this series and Demon's emotion packed story was a complete surprise. As a recovering addict, he has closed himself off from everyone but his MC brothers, but they too don't know much about him and the pain of his past. He has also kept himself emotionally distant from Sofia, until he almost loses her to violence. With Sofia's help, Demon finds his way back to his music and reconnecting to the people he pushed away. Fantastic story from beginning to end.
Sofia - a smart, sharp lawyer, Demon, a quiet tortured soul He pushed her away, thinking he wasn’t good enough, and she’d get hurt .. .. but she got hurt anyway, now he’s not letting her go, a real page turner
A. G. Kirkham has created a group of well written stand alone works in Satan’s Pride series where the stories engage, the characters jump of the page, and leaves you wanting more.
I would recommend reading in order, for maximum enjoyment but each story can be read by themselves
Oh my heart! Demon is such an emotional read. It pulls at your heartstrings in such a huge way. He's had a hard life at an early age and he doesn't feel worthy of anything good. There's something about him that pulls Sofia to him and him to her. When she lands in danger because of a rival MC, Demon will pull out all the stops to protect her. This book is an excellent, gritty, exciting read and definitely worth taking the journey with Demon and Sofia.
I have read all of A G Kirkham's MC Stan's Pride so far and each time I think I love that book the best, until I read the next one. You can become so invested in the characters. Demon is a man of little words, until Sophia's attack, he quickly realizes that he has to make up for his past mistakes, along with facing some additional demons that he still has in order to once and for all overcome his past and have a future with Sophia.
An enjoyable book following Sofia and Demon’s relationship, Demon’s horrors in his past and dramas courtesy of Sofia’s father’s business connections. A great story, well written and one I would recommend as worthy of a read.
Can’t wait for the next story from this author.

This story was amazing! The ups and downs kept me hooked and invested through the entire book. I NEEDED to know their HEA and could not stop reading. This book is a must read and it definitely does not disappoint! This author knows how to write and pulls you right in! Read this now!

This is the first book I have read in this series. I wasn't sure what to expect. It has feelings of remorse, forgiveness, and love. It was interesting to follow Demon and Sofia through the many trials they experienced. Overall, I enjoyed this story. Proofreader needed! Book 4 ended with Pemberton( spelling?) causing issues and was left open, book 5 started with Sofia in the hospital from being beaten…..seems like it started in the middle instead of the beginning… Pemberton is still open. What happened with him? I do like the characters and the story lines are different so thats a good thing..
The fifth book in the Satan's Pride series by A. G. Kirkham, Demon has everything you want in an MC romance... heartbreak, guilt, secrets, forgiveness, steamy sex, love, and it all wraps up with a great HEA.
I volunteered to review an advanced reader copy of this book.
A good mc story with the two main characters coming together after he finds her and helps her survive and they move on together to their hea. I volunteered to read this book for my honest opinion
Right from the start the story grabbed my interest.
Sofia is no damsel that needs saving, she can hold her own. But when you caught the eye of one of the Satan’s Pride MC member….. they better watch out if they ever mess with what’s theirs!!!!
Demon thinks he don’t deserve a life with Sofia. But she’s the light that he needs to guide him through his darkness. And when someone comes to hurt her….. he won’t stop at nothing for her to be safe.
And can I just mention Saint and Lizzie in the same sentence!!! 😜
I received an ARC of this story and I’m leaving this review voluntary.
WOW. Book 5 of Satan's Pride gave me the chills along with happy tears. I love the Brotherhood that the guys have and the gentle moments they have with the children. Book 5 is the story of Demon and Sofia and I enjoyed reading his background and all that he lost and regained. Second chances are possible and he finds that with his new home. I have not read this series in order but the author does a good job of narrating the relationships that I did not feel lost in the story. Definitely reading the rest of the series.
