* They are officially published under that name * They are traditional stories not attributed to a specific author * They are religious texts not generally attributed to a specific author

I have now read the Bible, cover to cover, 76 times. That is just one way I hope the value I put on this book can be told. I desperately hope that another, far more important way, is the impact that this book has on my life.
This is supposed to be a "review" of the book, but what right do I or any of us have to do so? What we should instead do is let the Bible "review" us. Is it changing us? Are we living up to the commands and dictates found in these pages? I know that I have a long, long way to go. But hopefully, with each time through, and with each daily reading, I become just a little bit more like him. Day by day, glory to glory, I pray that I am reflecting Him just a little bit better.
Completed by following The Bible Project’s ‘One Story that leads to Jesus’ plan in YouVersion’s The Bible App. By reading this translation along with the Bible study plan, I had greater understanding of what the stories were illustrating.
I love reading through the bible and completed this in 2023 using The One Year Through the Bible Devotional. New Living Translation is my favorite translation to read. Never has a book so impacted my life as the bible!
this is the best book ever written no cap. a romance book, a war book, a redemption story, a history book, you root for the characters and they have felt what you feel, even from 2700 years ago. a short story collection at the same time it’s a poetry collection and 1400 page great tragedy. banned in 12+ countries. translated into 700+ languages. it’s a living Word you get more out of each time you open it. 300+ cliff hangers as prophesies that become true. and obviously a quotable book🤓

“For even the Son of Man did not come expecting to be served by everyone, but to serve everyone, and to give his life as the ransom price for the salvation of many.”” Mark 10:45 TPT
“As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’”” Romans 9:25 ESV
“But he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he asked that he might die, saying, “It is enough; now, O Lord, take away my life, for I am no better than my fathers.” And he lay down and slept under a broom tree. And behold, an angel touched him and said to him, “Arise and eat.” And he looked, and behold, there was at his head a cake baked on hot stones and a jar of water. And he ate and drank and lay down again. And the angel of the Lord came again a second time and touched him and said, “Arise and eat, for the journey is too great for you.” And he arose and ate and drank, and went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights to Horeb, the mount of God.” 1 Kings 19:4-8 ESV
