Serving drinks at the hottest upscale club in town has never been a dream of mine, but it’ll do for now.
I’m eighteen years old, and catering to the high class in hopes of making rent for the month while wealthy socialites spend 1000X my earnings in one causal night at the club. I need a new career...
Though, the night Alec Huxley chose my section for his meeting, my world flipped.
Nerves get the best of me as his deep-blue eyes drag along my body, causing me to fumble and spill whiskey all over his designer suit.
It’s official. I’m THE worst.
But he seems unbothered by the stain forming from my clumsiness. He even goes as far as offering me a job to work for him, which I’m still not sure if I should take...is this a trap? Some ploy to get me alone and have his way with me, all to just throw me aside the second after?
At least, that’s the pattern of the men that show up around here.
Being eighteen and free has its perks, pushing me to want to take a chance. I mean, why not?
Maybe it’s time to see what life has to offer all by making a mess...for Daddy.
❥ If you enjoy steamy short reads with a touch of ddlg, then you’ll love my Please Me, Daddy series. Each book is a standalone romance, so feel free to read in any order you please. No cliffhangers and no cheating. Just a HEA, every steamy time.
Sweet, steamy, romantic, short story featuring a strong, independent woman and an alpha male billionaire. Juniper has been taking care of herself by working in an upscale night club after having aged out of foster care. Alec offers a job and it leads to a relationship that is tested by how uncomfortable Juniper is with fitting into a billionaire’s world. Juniper is strong willed but unsure of how to handle an issue. B.L. Brooks has done a wonderful job of creating this strong lead character.
This is book thirteen of the “Please Me, Daddy” series and is a complete standalone. This book is one of my favorites in the series so far.
I received a complimentary copy of this book and am voluntarily giving an honest review
I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for a review. Juniper and Alec's story in this book is a sweet, romantic story of two people who are strong willed. It was an easy read, but not with a lot of time to really get one's teeth into. I started it, then it was finished. And enjoyable experience though. Recommended read for killing some time with a coffee.
This is a really sweet story about two people finding something real. It’s about kindred spirits in more than one way. It is an age gap romance so if that’s not your thing you’ll want to sit this one out. My only complaint is that the ending feels a bit rushed and typical. I would have enjoyed something more.
This bok was good for a short read. But, you don't have a lot of time to really know the characters before it is over. Interesting story, with a cute ending. Wish there was a little more meat in it, but still entertaining.
Very fast paced. I almost feel like I missed a chapter somewhere. It's decent. No cheating, good steam, good characters. But not exactly what I was looking for. Not much of a DD/LG story. Just a but of fun role play.
I wanted to like this book more. Everything felt rushed. She was offered a job for no reason of being qualified. There are some scene inconsistencies that makes me wonder if the author read the book before publishing
Juniper couldn't be more mortified when she's bumped and spills Alec's drink all over him. He couldn't care less. The vision in front of him has him thinking of a future and family.
I read an ARC via the author and I'm voluntarily choosing to review it.
Woman works at a club and spills drink on a customer who just happens to be a millionaire who ends up hiring her. There's a few sexy scenes. She doesn't think she belongs in his world so she runs away. They confess their feelings and become a family.
