Dissolving the anchor is an insightful and inspiring autobiography/ self-help book focusing on the transformative and honest experiences of life events.

An informative book that will focus on the journey towards healing, transformation, rediscovering and fulfillment of life.

This honest and well- captured book doesn't downsize your emotions, instead the author will help you recognize the patterns to discover the true meaning of happiness, support and satisfaction from within. You are responsible for delivering all the good stuffs to yourself, others opinions and comments aren't your reality. To know who you are, delve into this journey of realization and with a mindset of accepting positive vibes and nothing less than that.

The author through her incredibly well described narration asks us to not to be a myopic when it comes what's going now, meaning if you are going through stress, sorrow, anger then don't think that this is going to continue. Be optimistic about the future being bright and beautiful. Life is a cycle, and at times there will smooth road while you are also going experience the bumpy path. However, you must never lose sight of the fact that you deserve all the good things that this beautiful life has to offer. The moments where trauma grips you and makes you feel remorseful and hurt, don't forget there are many more positive things awaiting you.

I'd recommend this book to all the readers because I know that each of us will find something that will help us

"Dissolving the Anchor" is an intriguing read penned by the author H. I. Yates. In this book, the author has given an advice on how we can rewire our mind to take control of our life.

After a suicide attempt, Yates felt that she only wants to end her pain, not her life. In this book, Yates has shared many of her personal experiences when she felt alone and undesirable.

I agree with the author when she has mentioned what we as authority figures say may affect others for years to come. We should have empathy for others. Author has shared the Do's and Don'ts to deal with someone who is feeling suicidal.

The title of the book couldn't have been more suitable. While reading this book, I could very well relate to many moments. Now, I am feeling empowered and aware to cope with the emotional pain in a healthy way. Writing style of the author is amazing. I am glad to get my hands on this book at the right time. This book is highly recommended to all my fellow readers.

Dissolving the Anchor
By
H I Yates

Review:
I love reading self-help books and growing day by day. Recently I got my hands on H I Yates' book 'Dissolving the Anchor'. Through this book, the author wants to help the readers so they can find their way out of pain. Recently at work, false allegations for not working well were made on me, I took them personally and lost my confidence as a result. But through this book, I have learnt a lesson that we shouldn't allow others to dictate our worth. We shouldn't allow others' words to have power over our confidence.

If we want to stay happy in life, we shouldn't base our happiness on what others think of us.

"I left thinking that not even someone who was paid to care could remember me."

I was really touched by the above line from the book as I have been into moments when I felt exactly the same. If someone doesn't care for us then we shouldn't force them. If they truly want to be a part of our life, they will make an effort. Otherwise, let them walk away.

Recognizing and Managing depression is a very helpful chapter. In the beginning of 2022, I was in depression and lost a few of my precious months in worrying. This book taught me to protect my boundaries. If we love ourselves enough then only, we are able to love others. Get used to constant transformation so you can replace self-defeating beliefs with constructive actions. This is a kinda book that is worth your time and attention.

Great read.

Dissolving the anchor is an aptly titled book that is going to change your perception of viewing situations. With breathtaking visuals and incredible powerful narration, the author is ready to take you on a venture where you will once again learn to fall in love with yourself, your reality and fullfilment. No more guilt trips are over thinking over others blinkered mindset.

A stunningly engaging self help book that encompasses real incidents with situation that will resonate with the readers on a profound level. Don't hold yourself back due to the fears of others criticizing your decisions or choices and never let your happiness get the back seat.

This emotional healing journey begins with the realisation of self love and self belief. Encouraging you to rise beyond the struggles and challenges to begin living your life the way you always wanted.

I am in awe of this book. Literally it has changed my perception. We have all felt the emotions such as sadness sorrow loneliness and often we let our lives be ruled under the thumb of negativity and entrenched mindset of the society. The close minded talks and criticism to ostracize, does not make you a bad person and undeserving in anyway. Talking about trauma, self-doubt, self- sabotage, the author will inspire readers through self evolution we discovering neutrons and focusing on priortizing yourself.

This book is a conversation starter. You can really find so many things that will significantly resonate with you and find positive ways and healthy coping mechanisms to understand the emotional pain and hence become much more aware. Highly recommend it to all.

In this book, the author has shared about her journey regarding how she felt lonely many times, the way she combated with her loneliness and felt confident. This book teaches readers to not be hard on themselves.

If you are having emotional pain which you want to resolve then this book is for you. The guidance that Yates has provided in this book is from her own experiences and research. There are so many words of advice mentioned in the book, which I wish I would have known sooner. I really appreciate the guts of the author for sharing her story with all of us and making us feel that we shouldn't feel guilty if someone treats us in an uncaring way.

After reading this book, I am inspired to release myself from the anchor that is holding me back from happiness so I can live a happy and fulfilling life. Since, I could connect personally to the author's words in this book, this book has made a positive impact on me. I would suggest others to add this book to their tbr. As the content of the book is sensitive sometimes, therefore the author has included a trigger warning at the beginning of the book.
