When Essie and Patrick take the grand opening ride of the tourist train in their town of Bison Creek they are all set for some sightseeing and fun. What could possibly go wrong? When Essie goes to the concession car she finds the dead body of a woman, that's what! To find out that it is detective Keene's ex-wife while he is on the train with a date is a shocker. When the sheriff asks Essie to help this time with the investigation, she is reluctant. And when Patrick tells her his mother, who has cancer can't do any more treatments, things are dire. He wants Essie to move the wedding date up to 2 weeks. Of course she agrees. Then we find another dead body. How is it linked to the first one? With so many twists and turns we are very surprised with the ending. Just when you are sure you know who did it, you don't! And the ending also has another big surprise. Well you are also surprised throughout this book! This is the last book in this series with Essie's point of view and I am looking forward to see where the author takes it from here. I really like this series and you will too! I received and ARC from the author but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

The Big Reveal

Oh my, the troubles that come in this book! Joy gets all in the middle of the wedding plans, not just as the event coordinator either! Essie and Patrick don't have an easy time of getting married. Lots of secrets are brought out and challenge the main characters!!

The end oh no!

Essie and Joy 100% sisters. Trouble brews. Essie knows no idea the danger she is in. Greedy people. a wedding through a foreseeable sadness. Sad that this series ended. It was good while it lasted! Thanks A. Gardner!!!😊
